I agree I love the phrase “It explains it, it doesn’t excuse it.” I love Bailey’s Monday videos.
Definitely. Like it's an explanation but certainly not an excuse
Never heard this before but it is really a perfect saying for a lot of things.

I'm a little late watching this, but as an EMT who often arrives on scenes like this one with cops/detectives/etc, I can confirm that my place of work does provide a certain amount of free therapy to all of us first responders. What's scary, and something I certainly find the longer I work there, is that only a small amount of people will actually accept it. We are encouraged not to dismiss our feelings but we do it anyway. It's one of the worst parts of the job, learning to live with those ghosts you couldn't even begin to save. I can't imagine what those who discovered this scene went through, especially her poor mother.
If it's being offered for free everyone should seek therapy, if having to deal with anything like this case. You need someone to talk to that isn't connected to it in any way. Trauma will have a negative impact on your life, whether it is current or historical. It's easier to deal with when it's current... after some time it is so much harder
Thank you for what you do.
First responders I know chose to not have the help offered because of the stigma the think they'll face from peers, wanting to feel like they have it together, and fear that the therapist could recommend they take time off work (to the boss). People seek help when it feels safe. A system where you could lose your income and reputation is a big ask for these folks who are already absorbing so much.
Hope to hear more and make a video on these for educational purposes
I hope you’re doing okay, Victoria. Thank you for what you do. 🧡

The fact that her baby is about to graduate high school right now is crazy. Can’t believe it’s been that long already
I am from the same county as Lisa Montgomery and had an infant daughter when this event occurred. A friend of mine was pregnant and lived across the street from the convenience store where Lisa worked. She asked my friend about her pregnancy and my friend told her she was having a boy. Lisa replied, "Oh, I am having a girl." It is chilling to think of it now.
You can have *compasion* for the abuse a person suffered in their past and at the same time fervently condemn them and their actions. Two truths can exist at the same time.
👏🏻👏🏻
Amen to that! I think you nailed this case with that statement
This is a great way to put it!
Perfectly said
Exactly 👏🏻👏🏻
The fact that Lisa gets punishment for her crime but the people who abused her so viciously don't is the second most horrifying part of this story to me. absolutely
I completely agree, she definitely deserved to be punished Bc what she did was unfathomable, but that doesn’t mean that Lisa herself does not deserve Juctice for all that she went through.
I agree. I think the death penalty was too harsh a punishment for her, especially after everything she had been through and the countless people that didn't have her back when she needed it most (even the judge who never reported the abuse!!).
I concur!
Agree.
I totally agree!
When I became pregnant with my 3rd child it was a total surprise bc i was on birth control. I jokingly told a friend that she could keep my baby. My husband (at the time) made it clear that i was joking but just a few weeks later this woman started buying baby clothes!!! We noped right out of that and moved away! I still don't know what the friend's intentions were but i wasn't gonna wait around and find out!
Lisa’s condition may explain what she did but doesn’t excuse what she did. Many people go through horrible, horrible stuff and don’t become monsters.
Lisa was A victim, but she was not THE victim in this case. My heart hurts for her as a child but there is absolutely no excuse for what she did, period.
Absolutely no excuse, just an explanation. Which is sad.
This is absolutely so well said. A lot of people tried to make excuses for her which I get because she did have a horrible life. But it does not excuses her for her actions and while she was a victim she was not a victim in this particular case.
Just like the joker. Criminals are just broken souls. They encounter bad, but also do bad. You cant blame them for their past, but you can blame them for what they do because of their past.
Amen! I couldn't be a defense attorney. Not one that uses a bunk defense just for a notch in their belt. I couldn't live with myself.
💯 💯 💯
Monsters create monsters. It’s too bad that Lisa’s Stepfather, mother, and all of her other abusers, didn’t have to face the music for their crimes too!!
Agree 1000% percent! THESE are the types of people that deserve the death penalty! I have stated on many juror questionnaires that "I believe anyone who abuses a child should be put to death". Guess what? I don't get picked.
yes yes yes 1000% percent agree!
@@flossiemae927 as someone who got sexually abused in my childhood, I want to thank you. I often feel like people think I speak "just out of trauma" or that I "overreact".
Those people have of course no idea how it is, but they also have probably never visually imagined what's exactly going on in those situations and what the rapists/ abusers exactly do.
Therefore to read this makes me tear up. Thank you so much
Agreed
I don't understand why can't we put the convicts abuser to trail. Like yes the person did commit a heinous crime but that doesn't mean the monsters who made her a monster should be able to roam free . Like idk if it's too hard but if they can't give those monsters a punishment atleast put them to shame. Just because the crime wasn't reported doesn't mean that the crime didn't occur . I feel then real justice would be given
My mom was always so worried this was going to happen to me when I was pregnant she always kept tabs on me and tried to keep me home as much as possible. Sad we live in a world where this is a valid concern
That's what my mom and neighbors did too.
It's a crazy world we live in..
Phantom pregnancy are very very real and extremely traumatic. After I had a miscarriage I went through a phantom pregnancy. I had phantom kicks, gained weight, mood swings, started producing breast milk, and even though I was going to an OB and therapy I started believing maybe I was pregnant. It was only 3 months after losing a baby at 7 weeks. Maybe baby was a twin, maybe I got pregnant again, or maybe I didn't lose baby at all. I also didn't take a pregnancy test because I didn't want the truth. Idk how to fully explain it, but once I came to the realization there was no baby, about 6 weeks later or 4.5 months after the loss of baby, it was like I lost another baby and went through another miscarriage.
Positive ending, we have 3 beautiful girls. 🥰
Thank you for sharing your experience. People don't understand how traumatic and mind altering pregnancy and pregnancy loss can be.
@@rosesanderson4625 Agree, Especially the men who make the rules. 🙄 So many hormones are changing and up and down.
Lisa knew that she was lying about being pregnant and simply wanted not to be caught in her lies.
I’m so sorry for your loss and I’m so happy that you and your family have a happy ending to your pregnancy story!
@@Angel-444.69 thank you 🥰🫂
When it comes to perpetrators with traumatic backgrounds, it’s okay to feel bad for the child version of them but it’s important to hold the adult version of them accountable for their actions. But accountability can also be done with empathy and consideration of their traumatic background, which Bailey does so well.
Very well said!
Wow that’s was perfect
That's the perfect way to describe that!
So wise !
Very true, also I love your profile picture ❤️ so dang cute 😍
As awful as the crime Lisa committed is, I’m more angry at the fact that Lisa’s mum, stepfather and all the rapists never faced justice
@Nina yeah fr! They where so clearly a danger to society while Lisa with help and being closely look after couldn’t have harmed anyone :/
This is so cruel that my brain just refuses to wrap itself around that people like these exist, it almost feels like something that came from a fictional story but no. That's just so dark.
@Hannah Smith nah they should be put to death and not have a bed, a meal, and still breathing...
@@kurochan_dat90schick death's too easy for them. They get the worst treatment from other prisoners (rightfully so) and that's pretty much the closest to a worthy punishment they can get.
Truee
As someone who was abused in every way as a child I’ve never purposely hurt another human. I’m terrified of violence and while I dislike being around fellow humans I don’t think I could ever hurt someone🤷🏻♀️
Same here EXACTLY 💯
Exactly, I can’t even think abt causing someone the same pain I’ve been through
I definitely feel &; agree 1000% with your statement. The trauma I’ve gone through.. emotionally and sexually. The emotional was the worst.. I couldn’t hurt someone else unless they were hurting me.. because why make someone go through the pain that others put us through.. break the cycle.
I feel like Bailey should put on screen at the beginning of her videos the definitions of "empathy" and "sympathy" for people unable to make the difference
I’m so disgusted hearing the things Lisa went through as a child. It’s not an excuse at all - but a lesson that this is what happens when sick, abusive, twisted people have access to children. This entire story is devastating.
Totally agree. I’m so confused on how I feel regarding this story.
And then those people who did that to her probably were treated badly as children too. It’s a cycle.
Agreed. Really such a tragedy
I hate to say this but it’s sadly like what do you expect? How do you expect this woman would grow up to become? I feel so awful for her but also for Bobbie Jo because that is probably one of the worst ways to die.
A tragedy on all sides, really.
Being pregnant was probably the best Lisa was ever treated. That’s so sad.
Exactly:(
That is so sad😢
It's probably the only time the abuse stopped for her.
Ya it is because I’m pregnant and not treated that great... people say the rudest things to you...
She faked her pregnancy!
When I was pregnant I refused to be in public without my husband to protect me in fear of this exact thing happening!!! If anyone talked to me even being sweet I would be scared that they were targeting me. Very strange feeling.
I think bailey is so beautiful before and after makeup and I love her online personality she's totally the vibe
"Bobby Jo regained consciousness after her stomach was cut open". Can you even imagine? That is completely beyond horrific.
A testament to a mother's love and strength! She fought til the very end and I think that's the takeaway. I don't want to hear about this evil woman, I want to focus on this mother who was bleeding out and still tried to go find her baby girl. That's sad and amazing!
@@minnthirteen.6534 which episodeeeeeee
This case is horrific.

She fought so hard for her life and baby!.
@@minnthirteen.6534 how horrible, I hadn't heard that.😔
Lisa’s mom should be held accountable for being such an awful human.
I definitely agree.. the men should be held accountable as well.
@Either Or 100%
What she did was awful, but it was a product of her being systematically failed by everyone around her
The woman who gave birth to Lisa shouldn't be classified as a mother. Any woman who is horrible to their own offspring doesn't deserve that title. It's an insult to all women who genuinely love & care for their kids.
Yes you can see the ripple effect this has years after. She should have been in court too
I laughed so hard when Bailey said, "My initials are BS..."with that silly look on her face like 'Yeah...' 😆 so cute! ☺💟
I read this book years ago! Glad to know how the story finally ended. Anyone who can “successfully” remove a baby with a kitchen knife isn’t mentally incompetent to me. The courts made the right decision.
The fact that there are that many sick men that would pay to sleep with an 11 year old ...sick 🤢🤮
Its a sick world we live in
and parents that would rent the daughter out..sick, disturbing and awful!!
The same thing happened to my half-sister when she was 12. The fact that anyone could do that to their kid is disgusting.
@TheLovelyRose sadly, this isn't a recent trend.
There are men out there that pay to sleep with kids even younger than 11 years old...😳😥🤬
i think she is definitely a victim, but i don't believe it excuses her actions. like you said, it takes a special kind of sick to do something so horrible.
Yes, most of abused people don't abuse also.
@@TaxidriverBarbi I actually disagree with this. I think many abused people abuse. That's why it's so important to break the cycle. My mum's childhood was so traumatic, it's all she knew. She was an abusive mother herself, because she didnt know how not to be one. Getting people help in time is also important
@@jackiejeffords2932 we should pray for the abused
also one more thing, you cant really say it doesn’t excuse her actions. you haven’t ever been through what shes been through you may be right but who are you to judge? who are you?
@@jackiejeffords2932 most abused people break the cycle by not being abusers themselves and Doing all they can to not become an abuser.
A similar case happened here in chicago in 2019. It was so sad everyone mourned the mothers and son’s death. RIP Marlen Ochoa-Lopez and her baby 🕊
Bailey you’re awesome I’m 68 years old and I listen to you as often as I can. You’re a very understanding and empathetic person. Bless you sweetie.
Why isn’t there punishment for the parents who abused their children? Yes even after the fact!
I was thinking about this too! Like, Lisa's mom was there when her daughter -- the child she trafficked and abused -- get the lethal injection?? She wasn't in jail????
Typically the statute of limitations for average crimes (statute of limitations being the amount of time after a crime that a person can begin a trial over) is anywhere from 1-6 years in the US, however higher offenses like child abuse have anywhere from 30 years to no limitations for opening a case/beginning a trial. Some of the states have laws specifying that the statute is unlimited if the survivor/victim filed a complaint within 1-2 years of abuse.
Hope that explains it.
Statute of limitations expired
@@samofsamnation7523 yess came here to say this. some states have an unlimited statute IF the child was under a certain age, too, which kind of just... blows my mind, I guess because I dont know the thought process behind that. I'd love for unlimited ones everywhere because so many people who had been abused as children could feel better, ya know.
Because there's something called statute of limitations.
Morbid podcast says “you can feel for the child, not the adult” when someone has a hard upbringing! It makes me feel better because people have awful upbringings, but it doesn’t excuse their crimes.
The purpose of us being fascinated and curious about morbid things is not to get angry and assign punishment. It's to empathize, learn and course correct within our own lives.
My old counsellor told me a few years ago
“people may have a reason that explains certain behaviour, that doesn’t mean they can use it as an excuse for their behaviour”
But being psychotic and intellectually disabled is relevant and the jury had a right to know that.

@@imcalledweasley9280 that’s the best explanation!
When I was pregnant with my first I had a nightmare that something like this happened. I woke up in tears sobbing my eyes out. That poor woman will never have gotten to hold her baby 🥺

"Scratch the s*** out of the attacker" is actually fantastic advice. No a great situation to be in, but set up justice however you can....
Do you best to disfigure them as well. If you can say I scratched their arm hard enough to bleed , they they have a better chance of finding them. Especially if you can't remember what they look like, or the discriptiin is vague.
Rip out hairs from the root when in an Uber or taxi too
Also LEAVE something of YOURS at the scene, like jewelry, a piece of clothing, ANYTHING
You can definitely tell who watches Dateline and 48 hours! 🤣 I try to always keep my nails long for that very reason! If you come after me your going to be bleeding!
You should do that, and also leave a trail of your own hair, blood, and you can bite off your own finger tips. Leave as much evidence behind as you can. I pray no one is ever in that situation though.
Get that DNA however possible, ppl. Bailey is correct. I also pray 🙏 that none of you EVER run into a situation where you need to use these techniques.
The fact that she knew enough to watch videos of c-section and then actually do it...girl, she knew what she was doing
Even worse than her mom who trafficked her was all the men who happily took the child as payment. How many people do we run into every day who would do the same??
That’s the most terrifying part of this story for me too
Literally!!
It's absolutely disgusting, many men and women in powerful positions do so everyday. We just don't hear about it because it's covered up. Plenty of human trafficking survivors have talked about all the lawyers, politicians, doctors, cops and so on that they saw come in to be with different children.
...I wouldn’t want to know that’s terrifying and disgusting
It's terrifying
Imagine that kid hearing how she was born, must be awful 😩
i was thinking the same thing🥺 didn’t even get to meet or have her real mom cause bc of something horrible like that it’s sickening
TRUE!
Sad
Baily and Arnold Faks are my 2 favorite true crime channels
i think the lisa's childhood was way more awful
This story just makes me mad. The system failed Lisa so many times. So many chances to get her out of that house. Her half sister got taken away by CPS but Lisa had to stay?! Then when she does this (which I’m not condoning at all. Lisa definitely should have been locked up for life) they’re like “Oh OOPPPSSS!!! Hee hee! Sorry you fell through the cracks but you gotta go now. Kbye.”
One of Lisa’s daughters Kayla lives in the same town with me and her son goes to school with my younger brother! It’s a crazy case
so u mean to tell me that after ALL OF THIS...lisa's mom and stepdad get to walk FREE?? Literal monsters continue to live their everyday lives??? tf??
Lets not forget her first husband
Her mom and stepdad are long dead
An Lisa's serving all of their sentences smh
It's unjust
More common than one would think. The man who assaulted me still walks free even, and I cant do a thing
When it comes to understanding the killers’ backstory, it’s about empathy, not sympathy. You can understand the circumstances and motives behind their actions but that doesn’t mean that you sympathize with them. 😌
To add to your point, having no empathy for them frankly just perpetuates the problem that created them. Many of them were raised by people who had no empathy for them and treated them inhumanely. To simply say they are monsters unworthy of compassion or understanding ignores how they were created. They represent the ways our society continues to fail us.
Exactly!!

This woman actually truly seems insane. Especially if there was no other evidence of her ever being violent or cruel in the past. I think it’s very possible she really just wasn’t in touch with reality at all!
Other people were nothing but things to her, not people who have feelings and lives. Not even the baby she stole. The baby was just a means to an end (of her fake pregnancy) and in her mind the ends justified the means. That is psychopathic.
You’re 10000% right Bailey, you’re allowed to feel empathy for the pain she went through as a child but hate what she did as an adult.
side note: Bailey tells true crime stories like your gossiping hair dresser from jersey
As someone who's mostly had hairdressers from New Jersey, I can confirm this.
This is why she's my favorite some of the others sound so monotone. I understand for the seriousness of the stories but this is why I look for Bailey every Monday. N

@@mollyfoxxx I've lived in Jersey my whole life and the gossiping is my favorite part of getting my hair done. Which reminds me, I need to text my stylist.
Nailed It!!!
The saddest part to me is that everyone in this story, could have had a happy ending. If Lisa had been removed from the home at the first sign of abuse, just like her sister, it’s likely that she would never gone on to commit such a vicious crime
Instead of putting so much energy on locking up and executing people I wish the focus can be shifted to *helping* the human race so we don’t have to bury another person and imprison or execute one, for Pete’s sake when will this country help the children! Fact is you could rehabilitate Lisa to feel remorse she is permanently damaged, that remorse and empathy was supposed to be demonstrated to her when she was a beautiful innocent little girls, fact is she still is a little girl always will be she stopped growing up when her innocence was stolen, it serves no purpose to keep the system the way it is, but there is no hope in this country is there. this empathy we all can’t help but feel for Lisa WILL serve a purpose one day. It will be the drive that motivates us to PROTECT the children so we’d potentially be saving lives.
This would’ve been avoided if the mom didn’t drink while pregnant so Lisa wouldn’t get brain damage
@@VerosBeautyChannel obviously the mom was also messed up for drinking and allowing her child to be abused. It’s a cycle, as a society we were too late to fix the mom but the damage could be contained if Lisa was saved from such an environment

Wow, that's amazing! Congratulations!
Kudos to you. I could never get into crime. You’re literally fighting real life monsters😭😭😭
That sounds so great! All the best to you! 😊
Well done!! I hope you go on to have a successful career 🥳
Job security for real. Congrats on the upcoming graduation!
Bailey: Hi friends!
My bf: I didn't know we were friends
Me: She was talking to me!
💕💕💕🤣
Lol😂
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
🤣🤣
This happened like 20 miles from where I grew up and my best friend's mom was friends with Bobbie Jo's dad. You should do a video over the Skidmore town bully. There's a movie based on it called "In Broad Daylight"
I almost skipped this at the beginning because I recognized the case but I’m happy I didn’t skip it because it seemed like it showed a lot more from the killers view than others that just kind of glossed over some details of her fake pregnancies her ex trying to take her kids and that she was abused as a child vs this one that actually went into the detail of her abuse and traumatic life
I’m not a cop but I am a first responder, yes they do offer us therapy. There are so many resources!!!! Peer support groups, firefighters support teams, we also have a chaplaincy to respond to scenes for family members!
Glad to hear
Yes!! My husbands work also provides support and help to their families as well! Thanks for all you do! ♥️
@@asvir9110 ❤️
that is so relieving 😭
thank you for mentioning peer support specialists :) we are rarely spoken of also thank you for the work you do
I can have compassion for the little girl Lisa used to be, but I do NOT have compassion for the actions of the adult.
Same here. She did not deserve to go through such a tragic childhood, but it is also our responsibility as adults to heal our traumas.
Well said.
Yes
I think that was exactly bailey's point too. She feels bad for the little girl Lisa who bad to enure such childhood. However, she cannot and will not condone her actions as an adult.
Well said! You can have compassion for someone, but that doesn't excuse their adult choices
I’ve watched this video a few times, but this is the first time I’m thinking - though she most likely wasn’t in pain due to extreme adrenaline, when she had regained consciousness I bet she had realized her baby had been cut out of her body and she knew exactly what was going on. And she truly couldn’t do anything about it. Imagine that.
When you don’t condemn monsters for their abuse and evil they create evil in their victims. I can only imagine how hard it would be to understand morality when you are raised in such an abusive, twisted environment
Honestly dude, you're doing the work of like 4 people- research, writing, filming, and editing-- you take your time. We got you, boo. 🥰
🎯
Does she still have an employee? I wanna say...Christine? Lindsay? I hope so ! She deserves all the help she can get
I think it's about time we got a new makeup brand called "Suspish"
I kind of like “BS cosmetics” 😂.
Yes!
Isn't that her nail polish line?
I agree with two comments here...
'Suspish by BS Cosmetics'.
I love this idea SO much. 🖤
And all the products are named after Bailey phrases and her topics. That’s genius somebody tell Bailey to do this!!!!
Love these videos, especially because of the deep dives into the perpetrators background. My middle name is also Marie so more evidence towards the Marie middle name trend.
Here because I’m digging for episodes I haven’t seen
you’re living my dream
There were so many times where Lisa’s torture could’ve stopped. Someone could’ve intervened. But in the end she was alone. all that hatred and abuse she was subjected to turned her into a monster. She’s at fault for her terrible actions but so is everyone that abused and neglected her in a way.
I feel sorry for her :(
It's hard to even define "at fault" clearly, here. We don't know what's going on in people's heads when they are that severely damaged over the course of their entire lives, the formative years in particular. Who knows how much control she had of her decision making? The prefrontal cortex isn't even fully developed until we're 25. What if due to physical and psychological trauma combined with substance abuse, all for YEARS and long before 25, that part of her brain responsible for decision making just NEVER developed adequately?
I don't think premeditation proves anything though it's the best measure we really have... If she was dissociated from reality and had multiple forms of brain damage, that premeditation was done by a mind playing by rules we don't understand.
She could never continue to live among other people but if she didn't want to die, I don't see any way we can determine (beyond a reasonable doubt) that she was ever capable of making a decision that warrants execution.
It's like they killed Bobby Jo too.
I agree seriously people
Never apologize for having empathy, Bailey. There is a seriously appalling lack of it currently. 💖💝
Absolutely
There is also another argument I’ve seen about why we should humanize bad people: if you go around thinking that bad people are monsters rather than humans, then you don’t believe that you or any of your friends/family/acquaintances etc. can be “monsters” or do the sort of bad things that “monsters” do. So like, anyone who thought like that could’ve seen Lisa Montgomery and been like “no way, I know Lisa, she’s not a MONSTER, she would never do something like that” and people inadvertently DO wind up excusing bad behavior because they don’t believe their friend is a monster.
I guess Bailey gets a lot of hate for trying to explain where these horrible people come from, but honestly, I think she has the right idea. These people don’t just come out of the ground, or fall from the sky-they’re PEOPLE, who came to be people in the standard way. By othering people like this, we close off the ability to maybe solve future problems of why people are like this, after we make more advancements in neuroscience, psychology etc. and can really start nipping these things in the bud.
we just learnt about this in my ethics class like 2 weeks ago, so when i saw this i knew i NEEDED to hear baileys take on this
Typically counseling is in fact offered but it depends on a lot of things: the region, the crime scene context and severity, and funding in the department. So sadly it’s not always as available as it should be.
NEVER!!get rid of the “Theme Song” that is the essence 🤌🏽makes my day👌🏽
Paris really tried to cancel Bailey...not today!
I’m always surprised that parents traffic their kids but also that there are so many willing adults wanting to abuse and buy kids
So many twisted people out there 😭😣
literally.. like how do you even find that out? that people are doing that, or your friend is doing that family is doing that? how do you tell someone hey you can do whatever you want w my child if you do this for me? if that were me i’d be like calling the cops asap, how did no one ever find out?!?! it’s insane
I watched a doco yesterday about child trafficking and it was the most disturbing disgusting video on it I have EVER seen!! It's called the eyes of the devil by a polish journo interviewing a mother that wants to sell her unborn baby and a man who buys kids and goes into detail about the process, how they get them, who buys them and what they do with the children...it is absolutely horrific..
@@AcaciaBieberLove because people who are sick like that or weak and easy to manipulate and use like that they’ll gravitate toward each other. Chances are these types of people are the type of people they’ve always been around and known. It’s usually part of a vicious cycle that started before them.
That’s what I was thinking. How did everyone agree? There was not one single person that contact the authorities to report the abuse. They just went with it. It’s so disgusting. It just goes to show how many sick people are out there!
Also, coming from a police family and my boyfriend is an officer, yes they do provide therapy for officers if they need It after going to some of these crazy calls. Just wanted to throw It out there lol love your videos
Bailey, I just love every single thing about you! You are so authentic, so comfortable in your gorgeous skin! Love your honesty and your one of a kind humor! You are so intelligent and so funny at the same time, normally it's
One or the other! You rock Bailey...I can't imagine you have any trolls but I hope they don't effect you in any way! They are jealous and just don't have a life! Love you girl!!
I like that you give the “bad guys background”. It humanizes them and it does explain a lot. Like most of them didn’t just wake up one day and decide to do bad things and be a bad person.
Me too. Im always wanting to know the why like to get inside their head ya know
Yes exactly! I watch allot of prison stuff crime stuff but the ones that get to the why and the how could you? Like how does your brain work!?
that's true - it helps us understand them better. while whatever their background is and what they've been through doesn't excuse their actions, at least u can kind of ... know why they did what they did ?
The head injuries seem to be pretty consistent with these killers.
I think its the ones who just woke up one day and choose crazy are the ones who scare me the most tbh. Because there is no reasoning or cause if that makes sense.
Certified EMT here and I can confirm that we are indeed offered counseling after traumatic incidents as well as any time we feel it's needed. Can't do the job without it.
Thank you Bailey for discussing Lisa’s past. Understanding her past is not to validate what she did but to realize that she is human....this is just such a sad story....
the way my jaw dropped because i just listened to this episode on spotify and i literally live in maryville right now. I WORKED AT THE KAWASAKI PLANT. i had actually never heard of this story and i grew up in that region. insane
Me: “ i hope Bailey posted this week”
My bf: “it’s been like a month right?”
Both of us: “ I hope she’s okay”
check her Instagram! she's alsays posting if she misses a monday! 👏
My fiance and I as well lol...
I was like ok one week that normal but after 2 I started to worry too!
Us too!
me and my two personalities as well lol
Lisa's family also needed to be punished. How did all of that come out and none of them have any repricussions?!
Cause the judges are men.
Absolutely!!
statute of limitations
Especially her mom ,that monster ,she should have gone to jail or worse, disgusting woman
American Justice System. :)
Bailey is truly everything ❤️
I have been loving her makeup
The “escaping to a world of her own” is dissociative episodes. The brain trying to protect her from the trauma
I dissociate alot after I have really bad ptsd episodes which for me is reliving situations I was put in and alot of people dont get it
@@theblissfull_queen5664 that’s a terrible thing to go through. I pray for you *hug*
@@carriebell3566 thank you so much, hugsss💕
@@theblissfull_queen5664 you’re welcome 💕
@@theblissfull_queen5664 sadly if people haven't went through anything they will never get survivors. :(
I feel so bad that Lisa never got help but also you can’t just go around snatching someone’s unborn baby
yeah :/ still really sad though, I wish people like lisa has easier access to therapy so they do not end up criminals etc 😭
@@Sophiasidae theray doesn't necessarily mean that she would have done anything differently.
I mean wasn't the mother still alive when... that's SICK
I absolutely love you!!! I look forward to Monday and glad I'm able to watch previous ones. Thank you so very much!!!!
Great story telling, girl! And I LOVE this look on you! 😍
For those leaving Bailey nasty comments, please leave. She has a life outside of all this and deserves respect not nastiness. Sure, we miss her when she's away but c'mon people give the girl a break!
We all missed her, it’s ok to be disappointed there isn’t an update on a video. It’s NOT ok to demand content from a creator. Some of her Instagram comments infuriated me with people demanding videos and rudeness.
Agreed fully. Plus, she talks about true crime which can weigh on someone mentally and life can just happen sometimes. I'm glad when she uploads, but I'm not gonna go after her if she skips a Monday or three. If she needs a break, she needs a break. Period.
Completely agree with you!
WHO IS BEING MEAN TO HER 👿
Exactly! I miss seeing her videos but I also know she has a life and I don't expect her to constantly be glued to UA-cam. It's nice to see her back but don't be rude because she takes a break. And it wasn't a break she was working. Some people just like to be rude.
You should really consider converting these videos to audio podcasts. Your voice is so soothing. I literally go to sleep to your video. But I have to keep the UA-cam app open to listen to it and it drains my battery.
But I loveeeee all you MM&M videos. I check for one every Monday. Lol
Same ahaha
Yes!!! Agree - I don’t even watch the video, just listen!
I think im tripping cause this comment is 4 hours old bit it says the video is 50 seconds old
dude same
I live in St.Louis and I’ve heard this about 5 time, it makes me uncomfortable and scared at the same time. I’m sending this to my friend so he can know about it 🙃
Love watching you do your makeup, and listening to the stories you tell!

This would be such a great quote to wear on a shirt especially if it's a lazy day.
this totally cracked me up when I heard it in the video :P
Bailey telling us to get our attackers DNA under our nails gave me chills. like the sincerity in her voice and the care and passion she has on top of imagining it got me in my feels and feeling chilly mane
basically just do any kind of damage to them as you can.....
RIGHTTTT
So true! Spread the word!
Agreed. Practical but totally chilling.
