Good mixer for the money. The only complaint I have with using it is the lack of led level indicators on each individual channel so sometimes when I switch channels the level might be a bit higher or lower then the channel playing. Otherwise, great mixer. Reliable and tons of features.

There are q separate knobs that allow you to switch and assign which ever channel you wish to use on the cross fader

I have recently just boughten 2 Numark NDX400s and a Numark iM9. So i've learned that this device is not computer directly capapable, is this where i would need an external soundcard to be able to connect it with say Virtual Dj?

yes, but you cannot control DJ software using it. Only the level of the audio comming out of your pc.

Your work with the effects was ok but work a bit on your transition; well unless the mixer doesn't let you beat match. I saw you attempt it but faded out of the video before we heard it. I'm curious can you actually hear the next song on headphones before putting it in the mix?

The Numark m9 and m8 are the same, with the exception of iphod dock right? So, imagine if I have 2 numark ndx 400 and 1 numark m8. I could control traktor or serato and record sets with this mixer?

Great value for money, those effects are pretty good for the price. Let's just hope the faders aren't as bad as some Numark mixers! Or if they are that they're actually replacable...
If they are, i'd seriously consider this mixer :-)
BTW, anyone know what mix that is of Akon - Dangerous?

Ive got now a behringer djx700, but i want an other 4chan mixer. Is this one a good one? and does the beatcounte really work ? and are the effects good quality?

I have the exact same set up but when I connect them, the LEDs on the mixer per channel don't move at all w the music and there's no sound either

You can control serato, not Traktor. You need a usb or midi interface to control traktor. This mixer does not support anything like that.
