I'm no expert but I agree. Sure he's had some issues and has lost some fish but I've bought goldfish that have died for different reasons mostly even unknown it's just a part of the process and life. Btw for anyone curious I believe its a blue spotted lagoon ray. Native to Australia (where I'm from) and they almost require sand in their natural habitats to ambush their prey so I would recommend adding some sand :D
That what I was thinking too, I myself are from Australia and they always burrow in the sand

I've just been to Egypt last month for diving and they're also native to the Red Sea, we've seen tons of them and they're called bluespotted ribbontail ray there. I've been watching it hiding in the sand and it let me film it from like 30cm away. This was so cool. :)

I just wanna say thank you I’ve seen a few other channel similar to yours and the people that are working thoes specific channels Are extremely intense and hyper and they don’t seem to be as loving towards the animals you actually care about there health safety and over all quality of life!! Nice looking ray, I think a fitting name could be toothless, as the dragon that toothless was is very rare, and the ray doesn’t have its barb anymore. Amazing video!
Toothless also gets blue markings at certain times in the movies as well.

Blue Spotted Ribbontail Stingrays are my favorite kind of rays. I had one named Raymond and wasn't easy to feed when I first had him but ate when I gave him live ghost shrimps and evolved to frozen food I currently have 2 california round stingrays and I like them but even they both won't exceed Raymond but I will good luck this beautiful ray, she looks happy in her new home.

Keep it up the content is amazing you should get sand for the pool pond it really needs it to add color and enrichment for the rays
I understand you’re worried about the sand you can find an industrial oven to bake it which would kill any disease or parasites in it also you can get a deep freeze and freeze it for weeks which would kill parasites and disease and when you go to put the stand in the pond I would get a PVC pipe that reaches to the bottom and pour it into the PVC pipe that’ll make the clouding minimal

This shop has insane coral and anemones❤, so beautiful, could spend hours there, really awesome👏
Definitely be carful with that ray that stinger will eventually fall off and will grow a new one they shed them often and if you get barbed it could be a fatal mistake
It’s been fatal like a dozen times in recorded history. Sadly the Aussie was stabbed in the heart by the stinger
You should name the Stingray Diamond because of its blue spots or Gold because of its gold/yellow colors.
