Mass production is not the same at all. There's nothing special with something disposable that everyone will have. Hand made craftsmanship will be cherished for years and passed on.
Mass produced products have no heart or soul in them. That is why I prefer to buy artisan hand made items when I have the opportunity. Not only do I support an artist, but the things I surround myself with have that artist's heart, soul, time and expertise in them. They are truly beautiful.

I love buying artisans work although, let's be honest it is a little bit expensive than most machine made products. It is more personal to me. It's like a guilty pleasure, a treat to myself for working hard and I deserve something special. For me, I mostly purchase ceramics from an artisan, even stuff that to some people are worthless like chimes and charms. Plus the quality is superb! The feeling is very authentic and you just know that it will last and will treasure it. I have few stuff in my apartment but I am confident that it is highest for it's quality. It's not a materialistic approach, I honestly treasure the value of a handmade product and the reason I bought it in the first place- maybe something good happened. I don't care what people saying it's impractical. It is my money to spend and I know I worked my ass of.

I have heard alot about Japanese chopsticks are different than Chinese chopsticks, it's really beautiful. Opal can be used on wooden spoon and spatula know, thank you🙏.
Basically, once any lacquer hardens, it does not affect the human body when food comes in contact with it. Rather, it can be kept cleaner than ordinary dishes because of its antibacterial action.
