Finally done! I don't exactly remember when but I started this one almost 1 year ago and I wasn't able to finish it because of all the fills that I was trying to make fits into the song structure and frankly I just wasn't having fun doing the transcription so I needed to move forward with something else. This time I had a pretty good time finishing it. And I have to admit, even though I prefer his combo performance, playing these rubato pieces are a lots of fun. As I said countless times, the secret is to play it at your own pace. As long as you keep track of the melody, it will sound great. Have fun!
Love it guys I'm warming more and more to Joe's great playing. He was one of a kind. Love his long creative long fast runs and his creative way of playing in and out of tempo.

Fascinating insights in Joe’s thinking…bars 22 and 46 contain a fast ascending lick that’s almost symmetrical, like Allan Holdsworth was fond of

Brilliant. Part of my "JP tribute" repertoire taken from study of the video... but had gaps that I can now fill to improve performance.
