Quite a few yachts in the US do not have teak on the sun deck. Teak does look great, but can be incredibly hot under foot...so many owners prefer a more practical option.

This is the best yacht i have ever seen. The layout is more like a family home, The spaces even for the crew show that the crew are not considered second-class passengers. Its AWESOME

If I were to ever win enough $ to see my dreams to fruition the things I would look for (thanks to watching this channel) is explorer capability, range, and storage for additional freezer space and for pew-stix. Then I would set to sea & spend a year hunting & fishing the world.
I would have named it "Perfect Dream Weaver." I can't remember when I saw a yacht check off as many boxes as this one. Very, very special. And for those interested I calculate ~ approx. 2,900 range at 8 knots with reserve. Engine Room, Captain & Crew Comfort including a real kitchen / galley, Dining Space options are all things which really set's this yacht apart, after-all who can't easily provide comfort to the Guests on this length of vessel.

Yes I agree, a real barbeque grill that is not hidden and does not look like a hot plate to warm bread. That grill is ready to smoke a slab of ribs and a porterhouse steak.
Would be nice if we could get more details about the range of the yachts and how much fuel they hold. I have seen other youtube channels that have mush more details and is fascinating to know that.

Strange, after 2 years on the market, the boat is still for sale, just a million dollars less than the title say. For me it did check alot of boxes, nice boat :)
You also need a crew witch isn’t cheap. My friend had a 163 footer and had a crew between 8 and 12. He leased it out a lot because it helps with the high cost. I’ll never be able to have a row boat let alone a Yacht lol.

The yacht profile , design and volume is impressive but a very poor quality interior design in my opinion. The choice of furnishings, colors , fabrics and finishings could have been a lot better .. The biggest issue I see with American yacht builders is the interiors .. These American builders seem to be more conservative in their layout and interiors , while the European builders like to push the boundaries of conventional yacht building .. The Italians and the Dutch builders somehow seem to do it with more class and style ..

Hi Kyle, thanks for watching. “Qualified” refers to a buyers financial qualifications to buy a yacht. You’d be surprised, but a remarkable number of people will go through the sales process as far as they can before it becomes evident that they don’t have sufficient funds to buy the yacht. A smart broker will always “qualify” the buyer before he spends much time on them.
Greta boat,good they looked after the crew and gave them some comfort,not a fan of that dated Cork look though,the bathrooms are the worst areas on that boat.

If you look at an old westerly yacht built back in the 70s when GRP was still in its infancy you will still many sailing today and when polished the GRP gel coats still look like new ! Of course many of these will have new masts, engines, sail etc . It’s the ancillaries that fail . So in a GRP SY with a full time crew and engineer these will go on and on 👍😁
When you see multimillion dollar yachts in all their luscious luxury beauty, then you view crew quarter with a wet head all I can say is WTF!!! Those yacht builders have to do better.
Again, very well done video. What would be interesting for a video consumer like me would be some information about refitting a yacht. As it is more likely for me to buy a used yacht than to commission a new one the refit process and what is doable during a refit is of much interest. For example, it is very unlikely for me to want accommodations for 12 guests thus I need fewer rooms for that also the master staterooms are often very big which I might not be too comfortable with. So what can be done to an existing yacht during a refit?

Hanse does a faux teak with gel coat on (some of) their yachts. It looks good without the downsides of wood.

'Cause there might be a few 100 meter plus yachts that are better. It is a lot lot of yacht for the size and price.
