    Enemies spamming projectiles endlessly isnt realistic, so hamner bros and similar enemies should only throw once

      No, They Pick Up Their Weapon After Throw Then Go Back To Position And Throw Again, Then The Loop Goes On And On Till The Enemy Is Exhausted.

    Realistic Mario update: claws now have a 75% chance of randomly letting go of anything that it is currently grabbing, just like a real claw machine!

      in reality i think it fails until the amount spent is about the cost of the item so it 100% randomly lets go until you've spent 60 coins which is how much smm2 costs
      and yes if you get a 1up via coins you can not spend those coins that became the 1up, you reset at 0

    Realistic Mario update : Actually, if you move, you can see the shellmet shaking a bit, which means that Mario can probably see a bit when moving. So now, the black screen is a little bit more transparent when moving.

    Idea: If fire of any kind touches grass or a tree in the Forest theme, the fire will spread rapidly to everything in the forest. Doesn't matter if you escape, you are still gonna be charged for the damage!

      If you don't have enough coins to pay off the damage, you go to prison. The timer is still going down, though :)

    Idea: As you get older, you start to lose mobility, so we’re implementing that into Mario, the more levels you play, the more his body gives up on him. Eventually, you start to no longer be able to jump, then you start walking everywhere, and eventually, you’ll just die playing a random level.

    Feature: Eating a mushroom now makes you see things (which is just another way of saying you got drugged.)
    Bonus Feature:
    Eating a tall mushroom will make you die exactly 30 seconds after eating it. Happy Poisons!

    I think a fun "realistic" add would be make it so if Mario is blocked from walking off screen or from going into the castle, the level doesn't get cleared for upload. Cause Mario doesn't really win if a sping behind the flagpole bops him into lava or a pit or leaves him trapped in spikes with laughter sound effects being triggered.

      That's actually a thing in Super Mario World romhacks. You can die during the few seconds between touching the goalpost and the fade to black, thus taking you back to the checkpoint. It's used in troll levels, in particular, as you can imagine!

    While entering a clear pipe, you won't get traveled between different parts of the area automatically, but instead you walk through it. Be careful that walking through it too much will shatter just like glass in real life.

    Goombas always fall off everything, so now we've given them a realistic brain so they never fall again! Also, if there's a stack of enemies that's taller than two blocks, the stack will collapse because the enemy at the bottom cannot sustain the whole stack's weight.

    Idea: when a pipe goes underwater, underlava, or undergrapesoda, the liquid will drain through the pipe and out the other end.

    About the Lakitu one : spinies' shells look hard, so if there would be any injuries, the worst one would've been a spike fall off.

      It would probably depend on how well it can soak up the impact. If the soft body inside takes too much, that hard shell isn't doing jack.

    Realistic: Whenever Mario jumps out of water or exits a water section, his jumping ability is more limited because wet clothes are much heavier, also he gets a bad rash on his back because he is still wearing his wet clothes, so you have to complete the level quickly after or else Mario dies of the rash’s severity.

    Mario maker idea: Short mode. You can make levels on a vertical screen. You just flip you Switch and play.

    Now when you want to play a level, you must move Mario the entire way between the level you last played and the entrance to the new level. Also applies to Course Worlds, since going between long levels in just a second isn’t realistic

      If a level ends with no obvious “exit” to go anywhere or in conditions that should kill the player, you have to either trek through the level backwards to an exit or switch characters to go anywhere else

    The desert theme is now realistically sand, so when mario ground pounds, jumps and lands, or spins, he get sand in his eyes which covers your screen with it.

    A few ideas and expanding versions of some other:
    Lava melts the ground blocks
    You go down to the center of the earth in a hole on every theme
    Nothing can float
    Pausing, stopping the level and things like that aren’t realistic

    Spiny helmet idea: like the regular helmet, you can't see. Only difference, you can't take it off (rather you can't lose it) because other enemies will die to it. So you better hope you reach death or the end of the level.
    Alternate take, you just bleed your entire head (if spikes are also on the inside).

    According to conservation of momentum, kicking a shell at a pipe should cause the pipe to bend slightly and the shell to return slower. Also, shells should be subject to friction as they slide along the ground.

    Ideas:
    1. You can't stand on clouds, because, in real life, you fall through them.
    2. There is blood when you kill an enemy.
    3. The Koopa car runs on gasoline and you need a license to drive.
    4. Fire Mario burns himself rather than enemies.
    5. Lakitus have a maximum abount of spinies.
    6. Koopas are slower because turtles are slow at speed.
    7. The Moon does nothing.
    8. There is no timer.
    9. Lakitus fall through their clouds, also you cannot enter them.
    10. The Super Bell doesn't work because cats cannot climb walls and dive.

    Idea: because pipes are so distant to each other, there needs to be a waiting time of about 12 hours per pipe warp

    Turtles are scared of humans in real life so upon seeing you the koopalings retract into their shells immediately.

    We’ve noticed that jumping on lots of enemies give you lives so we’ve made it so instead jumping on enemies just makes Mario tired. Also 1up mushrooms don’t really do anything because we all know you can’t have more than one life in real life.

    realistic mario: semisolids are now completely solid, because the top you can step on normally.
    also tree semisolids when you jump on them you fall through and the cloud blocks you fall through too

    I got an idea for the next update. When you first boot up Mario Maker 2, Mario will start pretty young. But every year, he gets older and older like on real life until the near future when Mario becomes so old that he'll pass away. Mario will act diffrently depending on which age Mario is.(e.g As a baby, Mario can only crawl)

    Realistic Update: Make Mario not eat the fire flower. Instead make him smell the fire flower because no one is dumb enough to eat a flower in real life.

    Some of my ideas:
    1. You used to stomp on a koopa to remove it's shell in some game styles, but turtle's shells are part of their body. Now, if you try to remove it's shell, it'll either back into it's shell just like regular, or it will just die. And naturally spawned shell-less koopas now have gore coming out them, and they will die from blood loss and broken organs after 15 seconds.
    2. Stomping on a Koopa Paratroopa (in super mario bros and super mario bros 3 style cuz they look like turtle-birds there) will make it get angry, angrily chirp at you, and crap all over you. This will stop after 20 seconds.
    3. Every type of Koopa is a turtle! So now, the Bowser and Koopaling bossfights have the bosses do nothing other than walk around on 4 legs.
    4. Any sort of winged thing will eventually run out of stamina, fly the the nearest surface, and recover their stamina before going back to what they're doing.
    5. you now have to clean your Koopa car. Winged things poops on it like a bird? Thwomp gets dust on it? You run over an Ant trooper and now there's insect blood on your car? Well, too bad, gotta clean it!

    Realistic Update Idea: In the original game, you can switch between characters but that's not like real life, now you can only play as one character for the whole game and when he dies, you'll never be able to play the game again! Seriously! THE FUN NEVER ENDS with this update!!!!!!

    Here's an idea for hammer bros:
    They can't have infinite hammers (unless they have magic, but this is super realistic maker), and hammers are pretty heavy. What if they carry a bag of hammers. At first the bro's movement is really slow, but with each throw it gets faster. After about 10 throws it can't throw any more hammers but it's faster.

    In Super Little Timmy Maker 2 version 3 there are one sound effect that's a combo of all the existing sound effects, including those in SMM1. If you put it on the character it will do just like the Slider theme, constantly making sound through the whole level.

    At 1:05 is actually a good idea, lol, and here is another idea, when Mario hits a question block he y 200should get a headache because he hit his head and the switches blue light increases by 500% for 2 minutes to give you a temporary headache!

    God I miss SMM2, that was 4 years ago when it came out & 3 years since it got it's last actual update (& I was hoping for minor updates after 3.0, which came out on March 2, 2020)
    God I feel old, and I don't feel this way playing through games like Sonic 3 and Knuckles or Five Nights at Freddy's 4

    Suggestion: you instantly die in lava levels due to the heat. And the higher up Mario is, the more frequently he has to stop to catch his breath, due to the thinner air.

    If a pipe is a naked pipe then you go through it, the player doesn’t go anywhere and just ends up on the other side of the pipe. If the pipe is actually connected to a structure or the ground, then it actually leads you somewhere.

    If you were that close to lava IRL you would get heat stroke and likely die, plus is that castle was closed off the heat would kill you quicker if the fumes didn't kill you first (the castle does look like it has windows but non of them appear to be open).

    idea 1: when mario gets a fire flower, all he does is store it in his pocket.
    idea 2: mario can now only jump 0.5 blocks because no one can jump that high
    idea 3: banzi bills are too heavy so they just fall once they spawn

    You don't slide down a flagpole without friction so either make it take some time going down the flagpole or you hook up a flag, then pull the other flag down just like real life.

    Realistic Idea: When you die to a Bonzai Bill, instead of dying, you get pushed by it and get crushed by a wall when it hits one.

    On themes with grass on the ground, the Fire Flower will ignite the ground. Touching the ground that is on fire will burn you to a crisp. The same happens with trees, boxes, and any wood structure.

    while climbing up in a vertical section, you begin to lose oxygen and get colder. thus risk of getting frozen and breathing problems the higher you go

    Bumpers are actually inflatable so when you walk into the it just deforms the bumper, and if you throw something spiky at it it will pop leaving stuff on the ground

    The cloud block is limited to the sky theme, since clouds being underground or underwater is unrealistic, and if you step on a cloud block, you go straight through it.

    it'a true that the rising lava should get rid of much more, but I think that the ground it leaves behind should become red-hot, meaning if you touch it, you melt away from heat.

    Idea: Being able to walk upside down isn't really realistic, so now Mario will fall off the ground when the world is upside down. Enemies and other objects included!

    Idea: lakes are super cold in real life so if Mario jumps in the water in the forest theme he freezes and you are put in soft lock. Better yet you can’t leave the level as the menu screen is frozen in ice to.

    I have an idea, in the castle theme when you throw the axe down, anybody on the bridge falls
