Isolated hilltop shrine to open doors for special autumn viewing

Aerial video footage taken by drone shows the splendor of Iwashimizu Hachimangu shrine, located on a hilltop in Yawata, Kyoto Prefecture. The shrine is one of several historical structures normally closed to the public that will open their doors on various dates from Oct. 28 to Nov. 12 as part of a special autumn exhibition held under the auspices of groups including the Kyoto Heritage Preservation Association. The footage was taken by Kengo Hiyoshi and Taku Hosokawa of The Asahi Shimbun.
