You sound a lot more confident in todays videos - shows how far you’ve come! Thought I’d go back and watch some old videos whilst waiting for Friday’s video.
Boy o boy.. what a great sunday journey! Dollar Bill gambling, alley's with muggers, extra floor ( wich is fantastic ) and lovely to see the city still empty... 😎 👍🏻
I came back deliberately looking for this after being mentioned on clippers video regarding the illicit casino. Its amazing to remember where and how Brick Nottingham sprung from. The videos in these older ones are som comical. I honestly dont mean this offensively but when you mention the mugger with the knife you sound so nervous that it sounds like you were the victim or maybe even the desperate mugger, It’s absolutely amazing and outstanding how far both you as a creator and developer have come and what a diverse, packed and stacked, literally every stud occupied Brick Nottingham has come. Now to take over the next room and on comes Brick Sutton Bonnington….
Yeah, I try not to watch the older ones personally, but we all have to start somewhere. Presenting isn't something I've had to do much in real life but I do enjoy it now!
I started typing out my message; when I say the one below me from 2 yrs ago. Now I can't stop giggling. I had the same thought from current perspective. There is nothing wrong with the video (I like the casino), but your comfort level now and ease on camera have improved. TFS, even if I'm only now getting around to these.
I hear you! Changing a color or part can definitely make a considerable difference in price. It looks great! All the detail in the casino and that chandelier!!
Lovely addition to the grand emporium. I think it could be really worthwhile to once refilm this older scenes with all the experience built up over all your video's. It could be a nice weekly item to return to one of your older builds and see whether you would still built it the way you did back then. These modular buildings are in my dark lego ages (between being a kid and becoming afol), and in my mind the grand emporium always had 4 floors until i saw this video :).
That's a fun idea for a feature. I get concerned people don't know about the less obvious bits like this and the Mech factory, for example. I'll try and feature them more in my full tours!
Thought i'd go back and watch your old videos (as i'm relatively new to the channel) - one suggestion, how about using Bricklink part reference 973pb0480c01 as the croupier's torso?
What if you changed out all of the green windows in the rounded corner for the black windows to make it look like the color differences are intentional?
Now that the 1x2x3 dark green Windows are in production again and can be ordered from Lego, do you plan to change from Black to green on the 4th floor?
Hearing 'welcome to Robin Hood bricks' just sounds so weird I'm do used to 'hello UA-cam Robin Hood bricks here'
Learning my craft, haha!
Welcome to Robin Hood Bricks. I was shocked when I heard you say that. I'm used to, Hello UA-cam! Robin Hood Bricks here!
I was finding my way!

Yeah, you're right. I hated the sound of my voice recorded. It sounded so different to me, but now it sounds so normal. Very odd!

The early videos are funny. Is that all there is? Haha!
YOU DIDN’T SAY HELLO UA-cam!!! 😭😭😭
It was a long time ago!
Robin Hood Bricks yeah! 👍😂
:(

You sound much more serious in the old videos my friend. Nice build however, as expected.
I was less relaxed. Trying to do a good job!
That's a great idea having a casino in the Grand Emporium 😃
Thank you. Although hidden most of the time, this is one of my favourite builds!

Well the chandelier is part of the original Grand Emporium but thanks for the continued support!
A pleasure,@@RobinHoodBricks!

A red carpet would be great
Haha it would, but no one sees this as it is so I'll spend my money on something more visible I think!
Your casino is very cool.
Why thank you. It's a very early, and thus underwatched, video that one. I love it though!
Looks cool
Many thanks! I was most proud of the Roulette table, although the Card table is probably more accurate.
Great job on your casino build.😀👍
That's one of my favourites and a very under-viewed video. Can't beat the roulette table!
The roulette croupier needs a stick of some sort to pull in the chips.
Oh yes!
Man, your voice is quite different now compared to then!
You can't have knife in brick Nottingham, what will th police say not to meantion his mother!
He's a very naughty boy!

VERY nice that one. I've added it to my wanted list but there aren't many about. Zero in the UK!
@@RobinHoodBricks Yeah, I checked when I posted, shame - it's perfect for a croupier. 😁
What if you changed out all of the green windows in the rounded corner for the black windows to make it look like the color differences are intentional?
Do those street lights for the monorail shine directly in the mini-figures eyes while waiting at the tram stop? Is it possible to raise them higher?
Now that the 1x2x3 dark green Windows are in production again and can be ordered from Lego, do you plan to change from Black to green on the 4th floor?
I noticed that and considered it. I guess there's no real need to change it, definitely not as a priority. What do you think? I can't decide!
@@RobinHoodBricks I think you should do it eventually, could make it a low priority project. The black windows will be great for future mocs. 😊
Yeah, they won't go to waste. I guess it's only about a £5 upgrade now... when they reopen B&P that is. The queue is going to be awful!
