NACA ducts over the louver for sure. On the next iteration twin 64mm 6S is the way to go! Great work.
the straight servo arms on the landing gear are super sweet. mechanical advantage
Beautiful design work ! It's amazing how much detail the panel lines add !
That’s what we thought as well! It’s a lot of work but we’ll worth it!
Another incredible job! The amount of time and testing you spend on your designs is amazing. My vote is for the NACA ducts for the wing top hatches.👍
I also scratch build rc planes as well. But I use 5 mm foam core boards insteat. Your craftman ship is abselutly fantastic. Keep up the good work ya !!!
Your capabilities are pretty amazing it’s nice to be able to create from thin air
Love the development and progress.
really good work, this is the first video of u that i have seen, new sub
Welcome aboard!
Can’t wait to build this!
The development of your jet has been fantastic to follow and very interesting. The jet looks incredible! Merry Christmas
Thx man! Merry Christmas
NACA inlet is my preference
This project and your work in general is amazing!
Thx for your vote man!
The tattered work gloves speak of the many hours of hard labor he endured throughout his life.
Whoa what a legend! This is sick. Makes me proud to be a german ☺️
Yes😁👍
So excited for the finished design. Keep the updates coming! Merry Christmas 🎄
Thanks Tyler, I'll do so! Merry Christmas🛫🎉
Stunning! Thank you for sharing your work.
Stunnning. Thanks 4 sharing the process!
Dear René, this an amazing project! Beautifull! One thing got my attention: you have hinges on your battery hatch that are at the aft side of the hatch, to make it more fail safe you should put them at the front. The aerodynamic forces will than always push the hatch to the closing position! But thit is just a minor point in your verry sophisticated design! Have a nice Holliday season! greetings from a cold and wet Holland from Jan de Vries.
Thanks Jan!
Imagine a carbon fiber/fiberglass Version
Nice Jet you build there. Is it inspired by the Su-57 Felon?
Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year
❤

Looks fantastic. Well done.
the difference in stringing is not acceleration, its retraction settings.. the bambu has different retraction requirements than the ender, if the ender is a bowden it gets even worse, you should print a retraction tower on the ender and determine the correct settings for its setup
You can't solve lw pla stringing using retraction settings
That's the point.
Elaborate or you're bad youtub😅@@renerosentraeger
amazing work
Beautiful
Amazing work. Unbelievable. 🎉❤
Великолепная работа. Молодец.
Thanks!
Einfach Klasse!
Is there a timeline when then project will be available for sale on your website? I've been following the progress and the JRM-01 looks amazing...
I think it will be ready for spring and for summer flying season 💪💪
As always, very nice!!
Your finish is absolutely beautiful
It is my journey and I hope to get there someday
Once more Merry Christmas
Merry Xmas 🎄
A thing of beauty
Now add head tracking FPV to the cockpit for the ultimate experience!
Sure 💪
This and a cockpit for 6 inch figure in the works.
Great progress! Are you going to make gear covers / doors next?
Not on this small JRM-01 version.
it's amazing
Awesome video! I recently received my X1-Carbon and would someday like to 3d print an aircraft.
I would like to see a video on your techniques for printing LW-PLA.
awesome, you are rock
René, I'm curious to know how much it would weigh in total; just the printed parts together as well as including all the electronics?
Printed parts about 900g rest about 1kg. So 1,9kg TOW.
Don´t fly RC anymore (since in Germany it is a huge pain in the ass after the drones came out and they changed all the laws) but those models are awesome, well done.
Love the "hello, zis iz zhe Germanz" flair of the video ^^
Ignore the stupid rules and fly anyway. Mass non compliance is the only way.
@@mytubehkjt Yeah I did for a while, but I mean honestly Germany is a huuuuge pain in the ass in regard to rules.
I have never met (beside the Brits) a nation of freedom haters like Germans, seriously. You can´t even ride a "Moped" without a helmet on by law AND THE COPS TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY, nobody else would even give a fuck.
So they also enforce that kind of nonsense.
You have to register that "toy" thing and baby it and all that shit, honestly I am too old for that shit. We will be moving to Switzerland anyways, so fuck that place.
for mass you need mass though, only the rich can afford flying rx now cause of all the insurance bs you need here and restrictions and those 100% Wont fight against it cause they can just pay it off@@mytubehkjt
@@mytubehkjtI think the bigger issue is the German CAA implementation, in Poland obtaining A1/A3 certification is trivially easy and free.
There are even regular long range BVLOS operations.
Sehr cool 👍🏻
Danke 👍
And all of that in SolidWorks. The damn software crashed like 10 times on me in the 2017 or 2018 version xD
Using it at work and it really is a pain to work with once projects get bigger/more complex. For simple stuff its ok
You should print the outer wall in stronger pla and the internal sections in light weight pla
I would add a metal mesh at the front of the inlets to avoid "foreign objects" getting into the EDFs. Maybe it's overengineered, though.
Yeah, good idea 👍
Awesome job. I'm designing my own 3d printable plane now, although it's going to be the opposite of yours - a glider. I'm mid way through modelling the wing
Great, go for it mate!
Excellent work, the design is incredible and beautiful. Are you going to sell the stl files at some point?
Greetings!
Yes, end of the month is planed.
Vtol testing soon? Side landing gear could be "shielded" offering another way to style the plane... 😉
Yes👌
Where and how did you get 180 degree servos please?
I'm using a servo expander.
Can you pls do a full build tutorial
Den ganzen ESC in Schrumpfschlauch?! Behalte mal die Temps im Blick.
Great design. Can I buy landing gear files separately?
What an amazing design, mind-blowing! How do you call the zig-zag things on the surfaces? couldn't get it. Congrats! Can't wait to see it flying!
This is a Turbolator.
I love it. When the files are for sale will the version without the embossed lines be available? I love it perfectly smooth. With the tabulators of coarse but no other lines.
Yes, we plan to do it someway like this.
grills are cool, but that inlet is cooler, could be a tad bigger
Can you Guys please calculate the Radar Signatur from that jet
WOW
Which software is used to design
SolidWorks
@@lukas20073upload 2D Make a design tutorial and drawings it will help students like me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
can u plzz make a detailed video about the full designing process in cad and how did u make the simulation
You find that all in the JRM-01 Playlist.
yes thx but like a tutorial for example for making the design with tips and tricks in cad @@renerosentraeger like yes the video go over everything amazing work but it dosnt go on how u made it in cad would like to see this video thxxx
Heres a question.
With 3d printed aircraft being so heavy and having the room to do so, why not us the mordpowerful and efficient 64 mm EDF over the curent 55?
Each size got its benefits. The next versions will be bigger.
SU 57?)
Good day sir, I am so inspired by your work, it looks and works so elegantly. I also want to repeat this, if it’s not difficult for you, could you share with the model of the airplane? I also want to 3D print my own plane.
Dont mean to be a bother but will you inclide provisions for flight lights to be installed? Mig 29 landing gear light would be nice.
Yes, for cob led.
Is the grill not needed for VTOL functionality? Or is the new inlet design just for cooling the esc if not using vtol?
Exactly 👍
Rene, I bought your SU XR model and trying to print the parts with Bambu Labs P1P - PLA Aero. Can you share your LW PLA settings for Bambu Labs? My prints are not looking that great with the BL PLA Aero Preset. Also the weight is coming up higher than expected.
Think you found it on my Patreon page👍 Merry Christmas
@@renerosentraeger I did thank you! I do have a bunch of BL PLA Aero. I’ll wait for you to post those.
I saw that you placed heat shrink on your ESC, wouldn’t that be counter productive to completely seal up your heat sink? If you removed it, I didn’t se me it and you can call me a clown 😂
Cut out was made later on.
Any idea when this one and the X-32 will be available for download?
The JRM-01 will be released next month. The x32 is not my project so I don't know.
Thanks for the reply. It’s an incredible design.
@@renerosentraeger Excellent! Do you think early or late March? I'd like to get one built for an event I'm attending this spring. Thanks for your help!
😊😊😊
💪👍💯
Will you be making this available to buy the stl file
Yes.
👏👏👏...😜👌
Hi i bought jrm01c . How is the front stearing set up, must be centred to retract and connected to rudder how do you stop it turning when retracted. Your wiring diagram is missing stearing servo, and the alieron starport servo arm is wrong and i had to mirror it .
Your build plans are missing a lot of info.
Hi, the steering servo could either be coupled with the rudders via v- cable or on extra channel which is just on when gear retracted. This has to mixed in your TX.
Will this be available to purchase?
Yes, soon.
Andarilho 🐺👣👣👣👣
Will you share the stl files?
Yes, soon.
You share stl?
Soon
16:09 didn't you isolated the radiator from air flow by putting it in that foil?
He cuts it open later, 20 secs after
Hallo René, welches LW-PLA bevorzugst Du? colorFabb oder PolyLite?
Colorfabb und 3dLabprint
Ist es möglich gedruckte Teile von colorFabb mit 3dLabprint zu verkleben? @@renerosentraeger
Na klar!
Como comprar o stl?
Soon
I see it as an f29 or a mig 22 if you know you know
Nature takes away any faculty that is not used.
Looks like you need to dry your filament
😲
Hi sag mal bescheid wenn du auf du Flugplatz bist würde mir gerne den Testflug angucken. Ich gucke schon eine weile deine Videos und habe gesehen das das bei mir in der nähe ist.
4,000 Kv . wow 4 Mega Volts .... thats a shit load of power to work ... bet it is supposedto read 4Kv .... for thrust instead of what it has ...
Kv means something like revolution per Volt.
@@renerosentraeger not when measuring thrust ... it is 4kv fan it is a miss print on their end tbh ... some chinese person who saw 4 000v and translated it as 4000kv ...
Please run an audio filter when post processing the video to remove the ultra high pitch frequencies.. I almost crawled out of my skin at around 12:00 onwards for the landing gear tests 😅😅
landing gear doesnt need to be aerodynamically stable at all. whats the point in designing things that dont leave the computer screen
