I haven't read part 8 yet, but I've noticed every villain except diavolo gets an upgrade to his ability (dio part 1 gets vampiric powers, kars turns into the ultimate lifeform, dio part 3 gets a 9 second time stop at the end of part 3, Kira gets BTD, pucci gets c moon and made in heaven and funny valentine gets love train)
And that's why I love Diavolo, the actual Protagonist needed a power-up to defeat Diavolo. And it wasn't a small power-up, the power-up made it the best canonical stand in JoJo. Makes Diavolo look really terrifying.

Dio yelling out "ZA WARUDO" at the top of his lungs really adds emotion to it, as if he wants everyone to know that he is truly unbeatable. Although Pucci's isn't as dramatic, he still manages to project the emotion of confidence in his ability to the audience. His calm "Mado in heaven..." makes him sound like he has true dominant power over the universe.

The Stand seems to be sentient like GER or Spice Girl, I mean it lives a separate life as the head doctor of a hospital after all.
DIO sounds like a showoff, he announces it like a bigshot. Kira summons his stands and gets ready finish the battle. Diavolo and Pucci (whitesnake) sound frantic. Pucci with Made in Heaven sounds like DIO’s arrogance again but with C-Moon he sounds unsure. Funny Valentine sounds downright menacing and finally for Wonder Of U? Scary.

The power scaling in this is magnificent the first real threat is a a guy who can stop time and the current one is a guy who cannot receive any kind of literal harm and can travel through dimensions AND whip out a copy of you and collapse you out of reality, I hope the next one can break the 4th wall and alter history directly cause what else is there

I honestly love the stands that have conversations with their users like Spicy Lady or reverb[echoes?] So it feels more like they have a mind of their own too. There are stands that are just there 🙇🏻♀️ like Star platinum or Hierophant Green and idk i just prefer the latter type
The SBR-verse ones revolve more around the concept of "Fortune/Luck", I think (i.e. Love Train). In both portions, though, there's a thematic focus on "fate", either as Luck or as Time.
My favorite is Wonder of U because from what I've seen its like a villian who has full control of the situation like when madara went against the five kage it feels sort of elegant
