"Maurina" - The Veritas Band

"Maurina" in the wala dialect of Langalanga means 'life'.
This song was written and composed by late Alphonse Waleteilia and assisted by Liborio Maemauri.
It is a cry prayer to God Almighty.
The people of Lilisiana consider this their prayer.
It depicts the prayer for the Lilisiana people and their everyday struggles and hardships along with the increasing effects of the rising tide caused by the rising sea level.
For them, this is their Maurina.
Governments have come and go, Parliament representatives have been lived and passed but their struggle still continue.
This is dedicated to the Wala people of Langalanga and everyone who is going through similar experiences.
Special thanks to my people of Lisiala.
