I'm just learning sketchup and loved finding your videos and getting some tools to help me advance. Was trying to get the stray vertices tool bust seems like it's not free anymore, just updating this video to what's going on in the end of 2022
i just installed clean up 3 and edge tools 2 but they are not showing up in the tools menu ? im new to sketchup and thought id ask here if theres something obvious that i must be overlooking ? *when i go to extensions manager both extensions are listed as enabled so im really not sure what im doing wrong here ?
@@JosephKim i can now find edge tools in the tool menu, but cleanup is listed under the extensions drop down, but at least they both seem to be there now , cheers mate, thanks for your help yeah ;)
I have the impression that the sketchup program was designed for fun and someone bought it and wants to earn money on it but the program has not changed for 12 years the program is simple to simple drawings.making a drawing with details of furniture to real details kitchen equipped with furniture oven Gaggenau downloaded from the manufacturer's website, etc. not suitable for work 2 gb and that's it, the guy from the support tells me reduce the details what I have to show the client that the circle is to be a square of the knobs have how it looks like this is garbage
@@JosephKim I also work on Inventor and I have no such problem but it is not an interior design program so Inventor and Revit, but how much can you pay for a rental and how long it is better to have ownership
Joseph and for that matter all other UA-camrs that do similar, DON'T PLAY BACKGROUND MUSIC, behind your instructional videos. It makes it impossible for hearing impaired people like me to hear and concentrate on what you are saying. Especially so if your accent (have no problem with you having one BTW) is a different 'first language' one to mine, it make's listening to your information extremely difficult and after a few minutes annoying and frustrating.

It should still be free. It is ThomThom's edge tools I believe.

Hey, I just installed cleanup as an extension, but can't find where it is located in the program....it's not under tools....thanks for any help!
Weird. Did you install TT lib? What version of SketchUp are you using?

Maybe install tt lib? That's the pre req for many ThomThom's extensions.
im using sketchup pro 2021 if that helps diagnose my problem

That's the native behavior. They show up on different spots :)
Using pro 2020 and dont have the extentions drop down, how do i enable it?
Make sure it is installed and right click on the toolbar to enable?

That's usually true for all CAD/3D modeling software.
