Happy Mother's Day Jennifer and Everyone. I really enjoyed the Live Premier. Thank you for the files. I Love both Wine Tumblers. They are both turned out Beautiful. Great Job and Video. ❤😊
You want the Cricut to cut the lines where were hand cut it with scissors? Here are more details in the blog post. jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-a-wine-tumbler/
Yes. I was thinking the Cricut might be able to do all the cutting. The challenge might be ensuring the alignment or “registration” of the design with the cuts to be made.
@jennifermaker what do you think of the PYD sublimation oven? The bigger one you have, I think it's 25L if I remember correctly. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews of it not keeping accurate temp but have considered purchasing it. Have you had any problems with it? I've noticed it's your go to for sublimation drinkware.
We have not had any problems with it. Accurate temperature control is crucial for successful sublimation, as sublimation ink activates between 354-400 degrees Fahrenheit (175-204 degrees Celsius). If the oven doesn't maintain a consistent temperature, it could lead to uneven or poor-quality transfers. If you decide to go with the PYD sublimation oven, I recommend checking reviews.
What program do you use for you sublimation projects. I am newer to sublimation and have done a few smaller projects in my cricut design space but tried doing a different project and it won't send it to the printer saying it's too big. But it isn't. So I would like to know what program is best.
To sublimate a half wrap design on wine tumblers, follow these steps: Get a Half Wrap Design: Ensure you have a half wrap design. If you don't, you can follow the steps from the tutorial to get a free tumbler wrap design. Follow the preparation and printing process from the full wrap tutorial. Select a PNG that has white at the bottom and resize it to 10.125 inches by 3.06 inches to fit just the upper section of the wine tumblers. If you're using different tumblers, be sure to measure accordingly. Use heavier 125 grams paper since you don't need to fit the curved area.

Intriguing! Is it possible to program the Cricut to do the multiple cuts for the bottom of the artwork?

I love the project! Do you have a tutorial with a template to sublimate tapered tumblers?
I sure do!! ua-cam.com/video/RfhcfOdRwZY/v-deo.html 🥰
Mine came out pretty good but it was a green color. Too much heat? Not enough heat?
Here is a tutorial that may help. jennifermaker.com/sublimation-color-problems/

Glad to hear that!
Do you have a link to the silicone mat that you use in the oven
The affiliate links can be found below this video and on the blog post in the materials list. jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-a-wine-tumbler/
@@JenniferMaker the mat was not in the list, but that is ok
Hi Jen. Is there no way I can use my tumbler press instead?
