This young teenager from the moment he started to sing when I saw him on American Idol the other day, he rilled me in with his singing, and I'll be listening to him for the rest of my life (I'm 63). His singing is so soothing to the soul. He's a blessing from God, which is why he has touched so many souls around the world, young and old. Just a note: Did you notice in the first video, people were throwing money or tucking it into Iamʻs shirt? Thatʻs a Tongan and Samoan custom when someone performs to show appreciation. We see it in Hawaiʻi all the time.

I mean, the guy works hard to put out these beautiful songs and we get to listen to him singing with his dad. And then there are copycats stealing all the videos and impersonating Iam. I love tongi! I hope he goes far. There are so many talented musicians and singers in Hawaii and Polynesia in general. Look up a singer named Fiji, or ledward kaapana, just to name a few so so many! We don't only turn out UFC champions! Return out tons of beautiful musicians and singers. It's really amazing when you think of this tiny little dot Middle of the ocean overflowing with so much talent in so many different areas. Don't forget all the baseball players and NFL players that come out of Hawaii and Samoa.
