虫の王様、カブトムシの中でも最大級のヘラクレスオオカブトです。
名前の由来は、ギリシャ神話に出てくる英雄「ヘラクレス」から来ているそうですが、基本的にはおとなしい性格らしいですよ。
飼ってみると、カブトムシって動きがかわいいなって思いました。
ゼリーをじっと食べてる所なんて、表情まで感じてしまいます。
