A good demonstration of why Blender needs to have a custom snap object. Revit has connectors specifically for pipework & Unreal Engine can use sockets to snap objects together.
@@blendon1967 The imminent 5.2 release is supposed to allow numerical input for modelling which will make it workable. I love Blender but it's rendering times are horrible (maybe Eevee Next at the end of this year might fix it)
@@blendon1967 I think the USD format has staggering potential....model in Blender, blockout environments with Unreal Megascans, REnder (and fluids) in Omniverse....

Thank you. Although I do not use Revit or Unreal Engine but intend to study Unreal Engine in the near future

@@benveasey7474 Thanks for the info. You could always use an external render engine if you like. There are many to chose from
