So thankful for our Brit brothers and sisters! A team with scream! Cheers to you from the States! 🙏🏼💛 P.S., wondering if those Iranian boats might be capable of launching Exocet-type anti ship missiles.
Back during the Falklands war the Royal Navy experienced being fired upon with Exocet missiles from the argentine air force. I believe one of their ships took a direct hit from one. Since then they have developed several different ways to avoid that happening again. A big part of those developments came from the American company that makes the Exocet and doing a sort of reverse engineering. By knowing exactly how that missile works and with what technology it uses they were able to create multiple defences against it. And in return the Royal Navy gave information gathered from the ship that was hit to the manufacturer of the missile so that they could make improvements to their weapon system. By the two sides working together both were able to make improvements in both attack and defence. Something of interest is that all ships in the american navy and the Royal Navy now have onboard a device that emits a signal that only Exocet missiles can receive. To put it in simple terms Exocet missiles do not work against ships in either of those two navies no matter who fires the missile. This had to be done because you never know when a country that is currently an allie may become an enemy as was the case with Argentina. It never occurred to anyone at the time that Argentina would invade sovereign territory of the U.K.

Interesting documentary, but mistitled. It should have been titled "Meet the HMS Ocean" not USS Eisenhower. Dspitte that it was interesting to see how the British Navy operates.
If you're referring to the Phalanx CIWS then yeah, and it's hard to believe it's an over 40 year old weapons system that was originally just used on US destroyers and other naval combat ships back in the late 70s onward. It's turned out to be so reliable and effective it's still relatively unchanged to this day, sadly though it's rarely ever actually needed nowadays in combat due to it being more of a last line of defense if any missiles or projectiles in general make it past any anti air/personnel missiles at longer range.
Navy spokes: “We have decided to pay her off early, primarily because there's a shortage of funds within defence.” Queen and Royals are richest in world but hate spending money.

You also need tings to push bote and to push trons through wires so bote tings can have flashy lights on dere tings that actually lit. Den add struts to bote so tings stay togetha. Den you add some fancy rooms for da humes ta live in, cause they need dat for some reason. Den slap some more metal to bote so ya don't lose bote to small dakka. And den put some of dem mech bois on it so dey cans keep bote being a bote and not a submarbote. Oh, and make sure da gnob in charga da bote has an awesome mustache squig. Das VEEERRRY important for da morale of da bote. Don't forge' da WAAAGH flags eithah!
Oh, an' don't forget da spiky bits in case ya want to ram em. Humes don't seem to like dose anymore for some reason tho. O' course, dey don't even paint it red or yellah either, so what do ya expect? Humes dumb sometimes.
Interesting documentary, but mistitled. It should have been titled "Meet the HMS Ocean" not USS Eisenhower. Dspitte that it was interesting to see how the British Navy operates.
Yours is the only mention I've seen so far.
It's a good video but I want to see the U.S. aircraft carriers.
Has spark done any documentaries on US military ships?
So you released this 9 months ago when HMS Queen Elizabeth was the royal navy flagship now for over 2 years
This is starting at day 50, y’all! It’s what they call in the biz, a series.
There have been two episodes already.
@@barny4586 Yes. Folks are complaining it's the same episode, over and over. It snot 😁
WTF this is 6 YEARS OLD It's a Brazilian ship now
Use to watch airshow but this interesting and cool to see seems like I'm already part of the tour and I thought that you always so serious....lol❤
So the Eisenhower is actually disguised as a British ship. What brilliant strategy. Even has a Brit crew.
Only the crew of your country are brits, the administrations are run by asians.... Lol
Stand still like tiger and it's prey..!
Very well done.
great
At about 2 miles accuracy and 4500 rounds per min. HOLY SHIT!
God Bless the youth and seasoned sailors that protect our freedom. Our sister and brother patriots to our north are awesome partners.
Ocean has been sold to Brazil and is now called Atlantico
Navy spokes: “We have decided to pay her off early, primarily because there's a shortage of funds within defence.”
Queen and Royals are richest in world but hate spending money.
"The Technology Behind Highly Complex Warships" = shows no technology.
Why won't they give any possible enemies technical information,?.
Because that's stupidity.
19 min 20 seconds into the video. I think those 3 guys are nuts.
I toyed with a little guy once. Hit me so many times never saw one.
With that crew im sure your navy isnt gonna win any war from that moment on
Great Britain's biggest military WAS-SHIP!!!! Case in point for a twilight empire.
Britain now has two much bigger warships lol
The Iranian drone crashed more like a jammer was used lol.
Did anyone clock that lady running in the beginning. I think the US team should be giving him or her a call soon..
A little seaweed knocked off their electric system. This is not exactly a good design.
Thanks for yours service…llllove y’all ✌️🇺🇸
Erm…Ocean hasn’t been flagship since 2018 and Queen Elizabeth has been Flag since January 2021.
Oh I did not know the ocean and the Eisenhower were the same ship
Odd title for an HMS Ocean Pt 2 vid. Somenody dropped the ball or it was intended as clickbait.
I was so confused too. Like uhhh. Cool documentary for sure but the title was completely off.
*amazing!!*
Didn't know the Brits loved us that much...
