Oh, I didn't realise it before, but Melody says she gained her ability after surviving listening to the song.
So she probably got Nen from being exposed to Nen from the score, like how the 3 dorks from Heaven's Arena got theirs after being maimed by Nen.

Melody is so good. the perfect teammate for Kurapika in this arc
she's got that Elric energy. wanting to restore her body is a goal, sure, but it's secondary to her desire to protect the world from the same harm she suffered. "for those we have lost, for those we can yet save." it keeps her centered, and it's a perfect mirror to Kurapika's own quest for bloody vengeance and reclaiming what was stolen.
Although they never confirmed It, it's been hinted multiple times that Leorio didn't have a Master to teach him about nen, and he trained in It all by himself. Most probably, someone sent by the association either used nen in front of him, or gave him some hints about it, and Leorio started to train in It, all by himself. It would Also make sense, as he's studying to become a doctor, and teching him something so complicated, might cause a burnout. But of Leorio willingly incorporated Nen in his studies,It might have worked
He knew the name for it and can do Ten so someone in Shingen Ryu brought up the basics and probably bounced when he said he was busy with school. Fits an impulsive Emitter if you ask me. Bros master said "Aight he wants to learn the hard way."

Melody is unironically one of my favorite character in the show. It's really cool that she did return in the latest Kurapika arc, i really wanted to see her again

Enhancers aren't dumb; they're simple and direct. Simple in this context *_isn't_* a jab at their intelligence; they aren't complex or nuanced, and are easily understood by others as a result.

Huh. I don’t know much about the animation process, so maybe someone can correct me, but I always thought of this episode as the pick up in the animation. The details look so much more apparent, and everybody’s movements look so dynamic. Were things really that still and I didn’t realize?
It was episodes like this one and the rest of yorknew (eg. Ep 47, 54 and so on) that definitely upped in quality and animation. I never realized it before either.

The troupe isn't necessarily much stronger than Gon and Killua physically. I mean Shizuku is second to last in arm wrestling in the troupe (there's a ranking but it's written outside of the story, in a cover page or between chapters, something like that so it's not a spoiler, they never talk about it in the anime) but she's still a troupe member and even if she beats Gon on her left, Gon beats her on his right and Killua is literally four times stronger than Gon (remember the doors? And Gon hasn't really trained physically since then, he trained Nen).
Gon is physically as strong as the troupe's lower ranked in the troupe (ranked in term of arm wrestling I mean, there's no overall ranking in the troupe) while Killua is probably about as strong as the middle ranks (fun fact: the boss of the troupe is ranked 7th in arm wrestling which means he's exactly at the middle and Killua is likely around as strong as he is physically). Where the troupe is scary is experience in Nen which our dear boys don't really have.
The scene with Hisoka is about his motivation. Yeah he clearly wants the boss, it shows in his gaze but the issue (and the reason why he looks at the others afterwards) is that part of the troupe is there. Fighting the boss is one thing, but fighting the boss plus two other troupe members is suicide.
Hunter x Hunter is very action heavy, but it also really leans into these very monotone and calm episodes which I feel it's important. There's a lot of necesary build up that makes the moment the action starts to hit even harder

usually people use their dominant arm alot more than their other which causes a natural imbalance between the two and one starts slowly falling behind
