That's just them realizing they can shine with great supports (Kazoo & Benny) rather than Nahida, Lyney and Neuvi which does nothing to support them
That was just one example team. They did that constantly in coop with other teams. If you go into the video they referenced, there are other players who recall their experience with Gladriel. They stayed in the corner every single time until the boss was down.
Edit: I mean, chances are you’re most likely right anyways, but it’s still surprising to see them join the fight.
why is it only up to the other players to choose characters that support them? if you only play one character you should be prepared for that and be a good sport about it, not stand in the corner while the others fight the boss

One time I met Gladriel in co-op and I immediately called them out by being "Infamous" (sarcastically)
I think that annoyed them and they ended up being petty by switching characters swiftly so the game wouldn't start.
So, I quit from the co-op before it even began and blocked them.
It seems some other players called them out too, hence why the change. good for them lol
edit: some people says they haven't changed yet and they're actually cooperating because there's Bennet and Kazoo. oh well, old habit die hard I guess
I met an Ayato main in the dendro set domain, he used his burst then ran straight to the tree, after a few minutes he came back to help because we couldn't kill the enemy so fast 🤣🤣🤣 i get it if u want to clear the domain fast so don't just stand there or run around, help instead, it's called coop for a reason 😅

c6 Ayaka and can't one phase. Damage means nothing if the player is bad. Maybe that's why they didn't help last time since even if they did, you would still have to see all phases 😂
I don't know what you mean but yeah, people should prioritize having fun over dealing damage. Anyway co-op is co-op cuz people are meant to co-op, having bad characters or not 🤔
