This game has the best dialogue of the whole series imo! Peak sassy Nancy. And there’s so many dialogue options it’s fun to replay it and hear different ones. Like when Nicholas says “what’s the demands?” if you pick “don’t you mean what are the demands?” it eventually leads to dialogue where Nancy can say something like “being groovy is no excuse for abandoning basic grammar” 😂😂. This game is very 2001 and it shows in the dialogue and navigation sometimes lol (remember this is game 5! The earliest you’ve played yet since Secrets Can Kill was the remake)
Looking back on this game, knowing what I do now, if I got kidnapped by Joseph I wouldn't shout "Help, Nancy!" I'd shout, "Help, a sad old is kidnapping me"
This was the first game I ever played, my cousin and I played it over and over again and would always quote "Don't let the turkeys get you done," "Cool beans," etc. We used to die when the characters would awkwardly turn around, so I was ugly-laughing at 27:11. Thank you so much for these streams, watching you and the chat roast these games which were such a poignant part of my childhood has been such a destresser for me during the pandemic.
This was one of my favorites when I was young because it reminded me of the theater in my hometown! It looked almost exactly like the Royal Paladium, save for the double stairs in the lobby. No secret passages, though...the amount of times that I would go looking during dance recitals was a little excessive 😂
This was my very first Nancy Drew game!! I was like 8 and I still remember the horrible sinking feeling when I came in day 2 and that funeral wreath was there.
*Maya frantically trying to get out of the kidnappers grasp* Nancy help!! *Nancy just looking through antiques* I’m not saying I would ditch my friend for looking through all these antiques, buuuuttttt……👀👀👀 Maya: SERIOUSLY???
I’m so excited to watch you play this game! They really just throw you right in which feels very different than the other Nancy drew games where we kinda just sit around wondering what the mystery even is
Yes! This is one of the first ND games I played! Waiting patiently for the day that you decide to play Treasure in the Royal Tower. That one has some interesting characters (that I can’t wait for you to roast) and the most hilarious secret passageways😂
Joe just want you to know how much I love watching your videos!! I’m going through a really hard time right now and sometimes the only thing getting me through the workday is watching one of your Nancy Drew playthroughs.
I have a theory that Joseph the theater manager in this game is a time-traveling Joe Hardy. It is completely unsubstantiated, but that's never stopped a fan theory before

Not Joe finally playing a game where he shares his name with one of the suspects and it’s a creepy old man 😂

Waking up to this notification saved me, I absolutely cannot wait for your reactions to the dialogue and this is one of my top games!
*blood curdling screams in the back ground, gunshots*
"Sounds like a prank to me, we'll send an officer out in 24 hours *hangs up*"
The HADIT guy looks & sounds like an undercover cop trying to catch kids red handed. He uses cool 411 language to fit in
Unironically my favourite game story and characters wise

Nancy serving the sass in this game!

As someone who goes to WashU and lives in STL, the “Isn’t that in DC” hits a little too hard
Joe just want you to know how much I love watching your videos!! I’m going through a really hard time right now and sometimes the only thing getting me through the workday is watching one of your Nancy Drew playthroughs.

16:51 the best day of Joe’s life

@RobeticYeti think Joe is going to figure out who the suspect is in .03 seconds-and he’s done it again!!
😂😂😂
why is nicholas the de-yassification of mannyMUA...
Not the de-yassification
01:19 Nancy unlocks Brady's demeaning kink
Joe PLUUUEEEZZZE tell me you’re going to do a livestream where you dress up as a male version of Simon! Maybe reenact some her game scenes?
Ok I thought something was wrong with the game!! I could hear the police sirens and the Motercycle engine.
49:00 lol
Houdini had a bad appendix and by him getting punched in the stomach it caused it to explode and that’s how he died
Trinity the Tuck???? MAMA THATS DENNIS REYNOLDS
22:58 Joe, I love you
you gotta play 'the silent spy' sometime soon, there are botched Scottish and Irish accents lmao
Future me: does Joe’s chat thirst over Nicholas?
Mmm…half and half
