Thanks for the information, watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Can you do a lesson based on the kWh shown as monthly consumption on your energy ⚡ bill? Showing calculations of what's required in size to go fully off-grid.
Well done engineer, I have an issue and your experience and expertise would be needed for opinion, the water level of my batteries went down and I topped the water with distilled but the system has been going off very fast than before, what do you think the problem might be? Thanks for your reply in advance.
In looking for the size of the charge controller, where do we obtain the 57.6v and is it common to both lead acid battery and lithium battery??? Thanks
It’s the Vmp of the panel which is 57.6v Parallel you know you don’t Multiple Series you multiple by the no of panel available Therefore Parallel 57.6v still remain the same Series 57.6v * 6 panels = 3456v
*great explanation, please if want to buy 4 200ah 12v dry cell battery in two to three month but l have already bought two of them, how am l going to set this 2 200ah 12v in 24v so that when l buy the remain battery in future i won't need to buy extra Charge controller and panel again ? thanks in advance*
DOD of 60% means that a battery that was fully charged (to 100%) is depleted to 60% of that value. So, if you have a 10kw battery that’s fully charged, you would deplete it to 6kw.
You said because it's a 48v battery bank so we're going to divide for mttp charge controller we're going to divide the total power by the charging voltage of the battery bank by 576 How did you arrive at 576?
Teacher Thank you very much , these lesons is very very important and we would like to increase them

thank you for the tutorials . can i use a 48v battery for a 24v inverter?

Thanks boss
Do you divide the battery storage capacity by the DOD or you have to divide by the DOD?

How did you arrive at the charging voltage of 57.6v?
For 48v battery
48v x 2 = 96v
96v/10 = 9.6v
48v + 9.6v = 57.6v
For 24v battery
24v x 2 = 48v
48v/10 = 4.8v
24v + 4.8v = 28.8v
For 12v battery
12v x 2 = 24v
24v/10 = 2.4v
12v + 2.4v = 14.4v
How did u come with 10 in all these input voltage calculations
I thought it was the absorb voltage of 48V batteries. Mine is about 56V.
It’s the Vmp of the panel which is 57.6v
Parallel you know you don’t Multiple
Series you multiple by the no of panel available
Therefore
Parallel 57.6v still remain the same
Series 57.6v * 6 panels = 3456v
thanks
Please how did you come about the charging voltage of the battary bank as 57.6v
Can I use 2 pieces of 480 watt panel each with 12 v 30 amp charger controller and 1.1 kva 12v inverter to power 195 watt load

thanks you sir for your recap ...my question how can I know or how can look the solar have a good cell efficient. of 0.6,0.7 and so.

Sir,y were did you get you 57.6 from pls
Hello good morning sir watching from Delta State please sir can you explain more about the 60% dod? Thanks alot sir.
DOD of 60% means that a battery that was fully charged (to 100%) is depleted to 60% of that value. So, if you have a 10kw battery that’s fully charged, you would deplete it to 6kw.

Sir,in your previous video,u make use of vmp when sizing an scc. But,in dis video, your making use of d battery bank voltage.pls, clearify me
The previous video is for sizing a pwm charge controller. The other video is for mppt charge controller
For 48v battery
48v x 2 = 96v
96v/10 = 9.6v
48v + 9.6v = 57.6v
For 24v battery
24v x 2 = 48v
48v/10 = 4.8v
24v + 4.8v = 28.8v
For 12v battery
12v x 2 = 24v
24v/10 = 2.4v
12v + 2.4v = 14.4v
I hope this is for Mppt charge controller data, what about for pwm charge controller
8,640 x 65=561,600 51,600:100=5616 8640-5616=3,024
Ghana
Why the 60% DOD? SHOULD have used 50%
Sorry am from +254 🇰🇪
If 8,640 is 100/100 how 60% of 8,640 can be 13,292 ???
Helo sir
