    Well done engineer, I have an issue and your experience and expertise would be needed for opinion,the water level of my batteries went down and I topped the water with distilled but the system has been going off very fast than before, what do you think the problem might be?     Do you divide the battery storage capacity by the DOD or you have to divide by the DOD?

    In looking for the size of the charge controller, where do we obtain the 57.6v and is it common to both lead acid battery and lithium battery???

    How did you arrive at the charging voltage of 57.6v?

      For 48v battery
      48v x 2 = 96v
      96v/10 = 9.6v
      48v + 9.6v = 57.6v
      For 24v battery
      24v x 2 = 48v
      48v/10 = 4.8v
      24v + 4.8v = 28.8v
      For 12v battery
      12v x 2 = 24v
      24v/10 = 2.4v
      12v + 2.4v = 14.4v

      I thought it was the absorb voltage of 48V batteries. Mine is about 56V.

      It’s the Vmp of the panel which is 57.6v
      Parallel you know you don’t Multiple
      Series you multiple by the no of panel available
      Therefore
      Parallel 57.6v still remain the same
      Series 57.6v * 6 panels = 3456v

      DOD of 60% means that a battery that was fully charged (to 100%) is depleted to 60% of that value. So, if you have a 10kw battery that’s fully charged, you would deplete it to 6kw.

    You said because it's a 48v battery bank so we're going to divide for mttp charge controller we're going to divide the total power by the charging voltage of the battery bank by 576
    How did you arrive at 576?
