@@aidanlastname0187 Uh-oh you didn’t agree with Cody. You’ll be getting a smart-ass reply from him I bet. He can’t take someone not fully agreeing with him. He will just say “K”
Rob Zombie has said that the reason Dr Satan doesn't appear in the Devil's Rejects is because he felt the character wouldn't suit the tone of the film. I heard there are deleted scenes with him but I've never seen them. He's also suggested that in House of 1000 Corpses the Dr Satan parts might have been a hallucination.
He’s in one deleted scene where he’s in the hospital after the Firefly compound gets raided, and he wakes up and rips out the throat of his nurse, played by Rosario Dawson.
The reporters did in the second movie say that the devils rejects *drugged*, kidnapped, and tortured their hundreds of victims before killing them. Towards the beginning of the kovie.
You’re not alone, I too consider Halloween 2 to be his best movie! I actually really enjoy it, and you pointed out a lot of the reasons why. A couple other things are that the mask is epic, and I really enjoy the nightmare hospital sequence! With the amount of trauma she’s been through, of course she would have night terrors like that. Anyways though awesome video!
Somewhat poetic ending to " The Devils Rejects " ? That may be my most favorite final moment of any horror movie and I have been watching horror movies since the mid 1980's. It is just the perfect song for the perfect final scene.

Rob zombie was actual gonna make a halloween trilogy with the first one being just about Michael's child hood, the 2nd one being the night that he escaped, and the 3rd one was just the actual 2nd one
Just a thought about Halloween 2, I did go back and give it another chance after your Halloween ranking and I agree Halloween 2 ( theatrical cut) is not as bad as I remembered it being the first time I watched it and now I do consider it to be a pretty good Halloween entry. Great review!
Of the one’s I’ve seen 6. 31 5. Lords of Salem 4. House of 1000 Corpses 3. Halloween 2. The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (an animated film he made in ‘09, that a lot of people seem to forget about) 1. The Devil’s Rejects Love his music. Hate his movies, except Devil’s Rejects, with the fire of 1000 suns.
I must be the only one in the world that loved The Munsters. It took me fifteen or twenty minutes to settle into his world, but once I did, I thought the film was inventive and beautiful and the actors brought a great sense of humor to the screen. Plus, the throwbacks and references worked. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll get the sequel.
I had to go back twice by the time you hit Lord's of Salem thinking I missed it.. I understand the middle finger in the pic for the video now.. No problems dude, do your thing always please!!
Nice list Mr Cody. Do you know about Rob Zombies Haunted World of El Superbeasto? It is an R rated animated movie about a luchador wrestler I believe, I haven’t seen it myself but would like too. 🤘
i’ve only seen his Halloween films, The Devil’s Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses, but i will say his cinematography in those is amazing. i’m much more of a music fan when it comes to Rob Zombie, his first 2 albums are Alt Metal classics
Zombies halloween 2 is one of my favorite slashers. I throughly enjoy the deep dive into the psychological effects of how the horrific events Laurie encountered would effect her, how we can't escape our DNA and Brad dourif is amazing
Agreed. I never understood the hate this movie gets. Is it perfect....no. But what slasher is? Love the character study, love the kills, love the Loomis arc.
Stellar opening, haha. 8. 3 From Hell 7. The Munsters (by Default, LOL) 6. Lords of Salem (this one has grown on me, but it still isn't one I reach for a lot) 5. 31 ( I enjoy the Sawness of this movie lol) (The rest of these I watch pretty regularly, but I put 4, 3, 2 in this order because its the order in which I grab for them most) 4. Halloween (Truly hate this depiction of Laurie though) 3. House of 1000 Corpses 2. Halloween 2 (Brad Dourif, man...Brad Dourif... that is all.) 1. The Devils Rejects
As usual, a nice list Sir - we’d probably disagree at which point his movies become ‘good,’ but otherwise not too much difference in the order. Glad to see some of his films have grown on you, especially 31, which I wasn't expecting after you breathed fire at it all those years ago. 1) The Devil’s Rejects: an obvious choice, sure, but sometimes the obvious choice is obvious for a very good reason 2) Halloween II: I really enjoyed this one, and it seems like you’re one of the few who’d agree 3) Halloween: remaking the original film with his own inimitable Rob Zombie style was a curious mix, and one that doesn’t totally work (the first half could have been trimmed quite a bit), but better than it has any right to 4) 31: after his Halloween movies & Lords of Salem left a bad taste in a lot of mouths, it seemed like he made this as a ‘for-the-fans’ flick, with all of his stylistic trademarks in full view; since I, overall, enjoy his movies more than you do, I also liked this one more than you did. 5) Lords of Salem: a big departure for him, as he tried for a slower, moodier, supernatural style, and it worked better than I expected 6) 3 from Hell: the near-absence of Sid Haig, and of course the cops from the previous movie, really hurt this one; nobody, even Zombie himself, really seemed to have their heart in it 7) House of 1000 Corpses: the only film of his I didn’t like at all (though, unlike 3 from Hell, it’s not boring); style to burn, of course, but not really at the service of anything The three middle films (#3 through #5) are all pretty close; were I making this list tomorrow they might be in a different order, but the rest are pretty set. Haven’t seen The Munsters yet, though I don’t have high hopes for it. Cheers and have a Happy Halloween.
Zombie's second Halloween is far from my favorite in the series, but the fact that it isn't on Resurrection's level makes it a forgivable entry in my book.
My ranking from best to worst: 1. The Devil’s Rejects (8/10, GO OUT AND BUY IT) 2. House Of 1000 Corpses (6/10), STREAM IT) 3. The Lords Of Salem (6/10, STREAM IT) 4. HALLOWEEN 2007 (5/10, SKIP IT) 5. RZ’s HALLOWEEN II 2009 (3/10, SKIP IT) 6. 3 From Hell (3/10, SKIP IT) 7. 31 (1/10, FUCK THIS MOVIE) 8. The Munsters 2022 (1/10, FUCK THIS MOVIE)
I always felt that Rob should've had Richard Brake play Doom-Head in 3 From Hell. Just have him be a rogue assassin that either knows the Firefly family, or gets hired to break them out.
I didn't like lord's of Salem the first time I saw it, but after a few more watches, I think it's just a bit underrated. It could be considered a diamond in the rough, though I like most of his movies. I don't love them, but I enjoy them well enough.
Nice to hear you explain your love for Halloween 2 . I remember you saying it was better than then 2018 and I was shocked . But you make some good points and maybe Halloween 2 deserves a rewatch 🤡
The fact that he has movies (and albums) that his fans don't even like, I think says a lot about Rob Zombie's inability to write scripts and music that have any interest. All he writes is "ocus poccus" and that's it. Behind so many lights, pyrotechnics, makeup and spells, there is nothing, the more you try to delve into what it does, you see that there is nothing behind it, just a magic trick for children. A shame.
I love Cody’s clown paint it looks like a Japanese geisha I think that’s wut they’re called! He doesn’t look much like Captain Spaulding but I appreciate the effort 🤣😂
H2 is probably my favorite also. You could see where he’d eventually go with Lords of Salem. I prefer the Director’s Cut though, whereas I think the theatrical cut of H1 is better than the unrated.
I saw Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 recently and enjoyed it to my surprise because I do not like RZ's Halloween 1 (the first third really brings it down for reasons Cody mentioned). I haven't seen any of Zombie's other work. After watching all three videos and doing the usual 31 on 31 average rankings, here's the overall ranking: 8. The Munsters 7. 3 From Hell 6. House of 1000 Corpses 5. 31 4. Halloween 2 3. The Devil's Rejects 2. Lords of Salem 1. Halloween
Honestly I feel like Rob Zombies Halloween works far better if you don’t take it too seriously and treat it as a horror comedy. That breakfast scene is so disgusting and vile that it’s HILARIOUS.
1. The Devils Rejects 2. House Of 1000 Corpses 3. Lords Of Salem 4. Halloween 2 5. Halloween 6. 31 7. The Munsters 8. 3 From Hell (though there’s part of it I really LOVE) 9. Haunted World Of El Superbeasto (need to see it , haven’t yet)
I never saw Munsters but my list is: 7- 3 From Hell, 6- Lords of Salem, 5- 31, 4- Halloween, 3- House of 1000 Corpses, 2- Halloween 2, 1- Devils rejects
Just like Cody I think Rob is a great director and an awful writer, but unlike Cody I can actually enjoy how god awful and trashy the writing can be(so bad that it’s good kind of thing!). Now here is my list: 8. The Munsters(so disappointing and boring to the point that I wish Rob would make it a hard R rated movie with trashy dialogue! Sheri moon was too much for me!) 7. 3 From Hell(didn’t like this unnecessary movie and Sheri moon was too much for me!) 6. House Of Thousand Corpses(it’s weird and all over the place! Some cool elements for sure, but feels really unprofessional) 5. The Lords Of Salem(this movie is so bizarre. I loved the concept and some of the side characters(specially Bruce Davison!), but this is another movie that Sheri Moon kinda ruined for me. She is so boring in this one! 4. 31(I actually liked the concept but hated most of the killers(specially the dwarf!!). Sheri Moon was really boring in this one, but I did like the rest of the victims at least… and Doom Head was great. 3. Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2(I have a lot of problems with this movie but I love some things about it. I think the dream sequence is one of the best in the franchise and Brad Dourif is amazing! And I hated Sheri Moon in this one!) 2. Rob Zombie’s Halloween(I really like most of the film aspects, from Loomis to Michael childhood and the trashy characters like Noel and Ronnie are really enjoyable to me and Sheri Moon is decent in the one) 1. The Devil׳s Rejects(I really like this movie!! Sid Haig and Ken Foree are so funny in this one. Sheri Moon is surprisingly good and Bill Mosley is a savage. Chicken guy and the Sheriff are also good. I like the kills and the brutality in this movie!)
I salute you for having the cajones to put RZ’s Halloween 2 as your number one. Like you, I’m one of the few people that actually loves that movie. It’s probably my third favorite in the whole Halloween franchise to be honest.
You're not alone for Halloween 2. I enjoyed that one, and the original. This'll probably put me on the chopping block, but honestly, those are the ones I'll probably rewatch first over the very first one. Oh, but you forgot the Haunted World Of El Superbeasto!
Love your content! Great reviews on the Zombie films and I was waiting for the ranking! I have a love/hate relationship with his films too and for some reason excited every time he has a new project, but I am not sure why. My ranking is Much Different though 1 The devils Rejects 2 Halloween 3 House of 1000 Corpses 4 Halloween 2 5 3 From Hell 6 Lords of Salem 7 31 8 The Munster's (I thought this would be his mainstream breakthrough) Honorable Mention The Haunted World of El Superbeasto I would love to see your review for 2001 Maniacs and 2001 Maniacs Field of Screams!

All Rob Zombie movies: fleeting moments of brilliance, engulfed in over the top killers, doing shit to innocent people we don't care about, in stories that are barely developed.
Zombie only invented the white horse in H2 so he could shoehorn his wife into the movie.. because he must be contracted to put her in EVERY F**KING movie.

Hey Cody I'll love to see your review of El Superbeasto, which is another Rob Zombie movie you forgot to mention on your list
Since I think Rob Zombie is full of himself as a filmmaker, all his movies are 8th place for me.
His ego outweighs his actual creativity, is the vibe I've always got watching his films.
Stellar opening, haha.
8. 3 From Hell
7. The Munsters (by Default, LOL)
6. Lords of Salem (this one has grown on me, but it still isn't one I reach for a lot)
5. 31 ( I enjoy the Sawness of this movie lol)
(The rest of these I watch pretty regularly, but I put 4, 3, 2 in this order because its the order in which I grab for them most)
4. Halloween (Truly hate this depiction of Laurie though)
3. House of 1000 Corpses
2. Halloween 2 (Brad Dourif, man...Brad Dourif... that is all.)
1) The Devil’s Rejects: an obvious choice, sure, but sometimes the obvious choice is obvious for a very good reason
2) Halloween II: I really enjoyed this one, and it seems like you’re one of the few who’d agree
3) Halloween: remaking the original film with his own inimitable Rob Zombie style was a curious mix, and one that doesn’t totally work (the first half could have been trimmed quite a bit), but better than it has any right to
4) 31: after his Halloween movies & Lords of Salem left a bad taste in a lot of mouths, it seemed like he made this as a ‘for-the-fans’ flick, with all of his stylistic trademarks in full view; since I, overall, enjoy his movies more than you do, I also liked this one more than you did.
5) Lords of Salem: a big departure for him, as he tried for a slower, moodier, supernatural style, and it worked better than I expected
6) 3 from Hell: the near-absence of Sid Haig, and of course the cops from the previous movie, really hurt this one; nobody, even Zombie himself, really seemed to have their heart in it
7) House of 1000 Corpses: the only film of his I didn’t like at all (though, unlike 3 from Hell, it’s not boring); style to burn, of course, but not really at the service of anything
The three middle films (#3 through #5) are all pretty close; were I making this list tomorrow they might be in a different order, but the rest are pretty set.
Haven’t seen The Munsters yet, though I don’t have high hopes for it.
Cheers and have a Happy Halloween.
I like how you broke it all down to point out the good and bad. Cool video.
I didn’t mind the white horse thing in Halloween 2, I found it kinda artistic with some meaning behind it
Zombie's second Halloween is far from my favorite in the series, but the fact that it isn't on Resurrection's level makes it a forgivable entry in my book.
My ranking from best to worst:
1. The Devil’s Rejects (8/10, GO OUT AND BUY IT)
2. House Of 1000 Corpses (6/10), STREAM IT)
3. The Lords Of Salem (6/10, STREAM IT)
4. HALLOWEEN 2007 (5/10, SKIP IT)
5. RZ’s HALLOWEEN II 2009 (3/10, SKIP IT)
6. 3 From Hell (3/10, SKIP IT)
7. 31 (1/10, FUCK THIS MOVIE)
8. The Munsters 2022 (1/10, FUCK THIS MOVIE)
I agree spot on !!
Props to you for giving Halloween II the top spot.
I always felt that Rob should've had Richard Brake play Doom-Head in 3 From Hell. Just have him be a rogue assassin that either knows the Firefly family, or gets hired to break them out.
That's a GREAT idea.
I didn't like lord's of Salem the first time I saw it, but after a few more watches, I think it's just a bit underrated. It could be considered a diamond in the rough, though I like most of his movies. I don't love them, but I enjoy them well enough.
That Sid Haig impression was perfect, haha
Nice to hear you explain your love for Halloween 2 . I remember you saying it was better than then 2018 and I was shocked . But you make some good points and maybe Halloween 2 deserves a rewatch
🤡
HALLOWEEN II has some truly exceptional cinematography.
Thanks for applying the makeup Cody, I appreciate your dedication to these reviews, you go all in
H2 and The Lords of Salem are two of my favorite horror movies of all time. Much love! That score in H2 though…🥶 you’re bot alone, brother
Rob Zombie must be related to Charles Manson. The resemblance is uncanny.
I read somewhere that he wanted the munsters to be in black and white but the studio wanted it in color
A shame.
The fact my reaction to your #1 pick synced up to that baby crying makes me want to angry hug you. 🫂
Hahahaha 😘
I love Cody’s clown paint it looks like a Japanese geisha I think that’s wut they’re called! He doesn’t look much like Captain Spaulding but I appreciate the effort 🤣😂
Do you think you'd ever review dee snider's strangeland?
H2 is probably my favorite also. You could see where he’d eventually go with Lords of Salem. I prefer the Director’s Cut though, whereas I think the theatrical cut of H1 is better than the unrated.
I prefer the Theatrical Cut of H2 because having Michael say “Die!” Makes me cringe and also Laurie has more unnecessary scenes
The Devil's rejects is my favorite but I do agree about Halloween 2 and it's brutality - The hospital scene is off the charts.
I saw Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 recently and enjoyed it to my surprise because I do not like RZ's Halloween 1 (the first third really brings it down for reasons Cody mentioned). I haven't seen any of Zombie's other work.
After watching all three videos and doing the usual 31 on 31 average rankings, here's the overall ranking:
8. The Munsters
7. 3 From Hell
6. House of 1000 Corpses
5. 31
4. Halloween 2
3. The Devil's Rejects
2. Lords of Salem
1. Halloween
Honestly I feel like Rob Zombies Halloween works far better if you don’t take it too seriously and treat it as a horror comedy. That breakfast scene is so disgusting and vile that it’s HILARIOUS.
Robs quite an artist. Music, movies, artwork, fashion. He knows how to be creative.
1. The Devils Rejects
2. House Of 1000 Corpses
3. Lords Of Salem
4. Halloween 2
5. Halloween
6. 31
7. The Munsters
8. 3 From Hell (though there’s part of it I really LOVE)
What an amazing intro! Definitely in Cody’s top 5 intros! Great review series! I’ll put my ranking on the first comment
Just like Cody I think Rob is a great director and an awful writer, but unlike Cody I can actually enjoy how god awful and trashy the writing can be(so bad that it’s good kind of thing!). Now here is my list:
8. The Munsters(so disappointing and boring to the point that I wish Rob would make it a hard R rated movie with trashy dialogue! Sheri moon was too much for me!)
7. 3 From Hell(didn’t like this unnecessary movie and Sheri moon was too much for me!)
6. House Of Thousand Corpses(it’s weird and all over the place! Some cool elements for sure, but feels really unprofessional)
And I hated Sheri Moon in this one!)
2. Rob Zombie’s Halloween(I really like most of the film aspects, from Loomis to Michael childhood and the trashy characters like Noel and Ronnie are really enjoyable to me and Sheri Moon is decent in the one)
The theatrical versions of both Zombie Halloween flicks are good. Certainly a big improvement over the directors cut of both movies.
Love your content! Great reviews on the Zombie films and I was waiting for the ranking! I have a love/hate relationship with his films too and for some reason excited every time he has a new project, but I am not sure why. My ranking is Much Different though
1 The devils Rejects
2 Halloween
3 House of 1000 Corpses
4 Halloween 2
5 3 From Hell
6 Lords of Salem
7 31
8 The Munster's (I thought this would be his mainstream breakthrough)
Honorable Mention The Haunted World of El Superbeasto
I would love to see your review for 2001 Maniacs and 2001 Maniacs Field of Screams!
intro was golden
This has to be my favorite intro you’ve ever done!!
8.) 3 from Hell (2019)
7.) The Munsters (2022)
6.) House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
5.) 31 (2016)
4.) Halloween (2007)
3.) The Lords of Salem (2012)
2.) The Devil’s Rejects (2005)
1.) Halloween II (2009)
RZ Halloween 2 is my favorite Halloween movie tbh
Y'all know that JDP was the Caveman from those old Geico commercials?
ur not alone 🥺 Robby's Halloween II is my favorite Halloween 🥰
This is how RZ's films stack up for me:
1. The Devil's Rejects
2. Lords of Salem
3. 31
4. House of 1,000 Corpses
5. The Munsters
6. Halloween
7. Halloween 2
8. 3 From Hell
That intro is very clever and funny.
You forgot The haunted world of El Superbeasto. That one's brilliant! My favourite RZ movie 🤘😃
All Rob Zombie movies: fleeting moments of brilliance, engulfed in over the top killers, doing shit to innocent people we don't care about, in stories that are barely developed.
I actually like rob zombies Halloween II. There. I said it.
Cody would agree with you.
@@BareBandSubscription true.
Zombie only invented the white horse in H2 so he could shoehorn his wife into the movie.. because he must be contracted to put her in EVERY F**KING movie.
I appreciate your dedication. Billy Zanes got your back
Glad to c u came around on 31 lol. Great list
