I wanted to share some of my previous planted guppy aquariums with you guys. You can also find some helpful information in this guppy aquarium video. Most of the freshwater Plants I used in these planted aquariums are easy to take care of.

I used to have 2 low budget tanks consisting of guppies and mollies 5-6 years back when i was in highschool. Then I couldn't pay much attention to it due to lack of time and lost all those. I had watched this video back then and dreamt of having a good budget tank. Now after all these years I suddenly remembered the music and searched for the video and finally found it..

Sehr schön ich hoffe bald auch ein schönes Gubby Becken von ungefähr 500 Liter zu haben und es auch so hinzubekommen wie hier in dem kleinen Becken. Ich liebe auch mehr die an die Wildform erinnernden flinkeren Gubbys mit den natürlichen kleineren Schwänzen die ebenfalls tolle Farben entwickeln können.

Could be a sign of stress, is your tank cycled and maintained with regular water changes? My guppies used to do this too so I increased the frequency of my water changes and raised my filter's water flow and they got better!:)

Wondering how fishes r not jumping from your tank.. I usually don’t fill full water. 4-5 fishes so far has jumped. May I know d reason ?

Hi Kamal, most of the time it happens with tetra's but never happened with guppies

Tropictank in my case I had Siamese algae eaters, they jumped. And few shrimps jumped out of tank.

that is because the water parameters are not good and the lights are turned off suddenly

Lots of fishes were jumpers especially in first few weeks or months settling in the tank. Plenty of aquarist I knew keep on a temporary lid for a few months and removing it after, and they got almost no jumpers after that period.

hello sir, I my self a doctor and i am concerned about one of my Guppy patient and seek ur advice. .My aquarium parameter are..
Tank: 1.5*1*1 ft (40 ltr approx), cycled for a month with added beneficiary bacteria, Artificial decorations, Hang on back filter, No oxygen pump, API conditioner in RO water (to be extra safe)
Fish:Six male guppies brought 3 days back...Enjoying. feeding small amount twice a day.
From last night one of the guppy is just swimming at top and not participating with others..although occasionally it does go deep but prefers to swim at top only. i have changed the water 30-40% today morning on SOS basis..What should be done now.??? thermometer is showing 27-28C
