A country mile is a distance that may seem like a mile when looking at a paper map, but the actual traveling distance is significantly longer. Because country roads tend to wind around and turn - the distance ends up being much longer than a driven mile.
The most interesting part of this podcast is knowing that Mike can actually fit into a Corvette
I’m betting it’s been modified for him.
He recently traded it in for a 392 Wrangler so maybe it wasn't too comfortable for him.

LOVE the banter! Reminds me of my days riding submarines for a living (banter = sanity preservation). Good discussion points on preparedness though (Evan's mishap with his daughter whilst driving). Always have shoes on when driving, make sure. you have evacuation mechanisms within arms reach IF you were to rollover!

I was raised by a single parent who worked for everything, who made my life better than his own and now Im trying to make my families story better than my own, all I see is lazy, pieces of shit getting upset because they have it “bad” or “entitled”, when they make no effort to improve anything. You want something….work for it or starve!

I think it's the predatory nature of student debt with the ridiculous interest rates and fees that has turned into such a wedge issue. Make them low or no interest, and only for specialties where you can actually have a career, where people are needed. Problem solved.
I'm hoping corporate culture changes HR to Human Family as words matter as precursors to substantiation. Always love the windows into a bleeding edge emerging leadership for national and world culture. Change happens for better or worse and you guys are tip of the spear for modeling. Go time coming soon to a revolution near you...

I would have made something like $200 more a week if I'd been laid off, and that's before gas cost and maintenance on my vehicle.

Having jacks and winches doesn't make you competent tho. It means you have money and you know the benefits of having them on you rigs, but if you aren't regularly using your jacks and winches how really useful are they if you don't know how to use them especially under stress.
