@@clarah7802 I use not your mother's, especially their curl talk line. I use Maui moisture, treluxe, curls, and I deep condition every week. The curl talk line has really helped along with keeping your hair moisturized. I am trying curlsmith and olaplex at the end of this month.

I just saw a video on her hair growth yesterday. Was looking for the other ones. Was looking for more but couldn't find them all. Today, UA-cam decides it'll suggest another video of her hair growth journey.
Just when I bought a bunch of hair products... I find this. And all the products I am using, this morning a child asked me, "What's wrong with your hair?" And another younger girl said, "Your hair looks pretty!" I felt sweaty on my head and I didn't know until my break that my hair had frizzed. Never had that prob in a long time with products I use.... I want to try CurlSmith one day.

Hi, I just had a baby as well, she’ll be four months tomorrow. How are you dealing with PP shedding if you’re experiencing any. My hair is pretty much waist length but I had to cut over two inches due to heat damage, which means it was down to my butt. It looks so much better. So I’m doing your growth challenge and I’m not gonna use heat for a looooooonnnnnggg time 😁 so my curls can get that bounce back. Love the video as usual 😁😁😁

I've learned that the more I keep on track with my fitness, the more my hair grows. So diet and exercise have definitely made a difference for me. Now I'm trying to add in the scalp products to see what happens!
I switched to CurlSmith when all the Deva drama came out. I started using the CurlSmith products in November and I finally see my curls coming back. After using deva for a little under a year my curls were frizzy and not as tight as they were when I was using cheaper products. I was also highlighting my hair at the time but found the toner coming out of my hair after only a few washes which was super frustrating. I am finally starting to love my curls again and can't wait for quarantine to be over so I can show them off!
PS. My profile picture was taken a year before I started my curl journey so they are not my natural curl lol
I big chopped February 1st and have been using NYM Curl Talk and deep conditioning once a week. I never deep conditioned before the big chop and my hair feels so healthy and moisturized. I never thought I would fall in love with my natural hair but here I am just 🧡🧡🧡. Thanks to your videos I knew which steps to take first. Still some things to figure out with the styling but I'm getting there. Thanks curl friend!!!

One thing I will say though is that my hair grew soooo much the first few months postpartum.(obvi that’s the opposite of the norm) I’m curious to see my results with curlsmith. I’m using sugar bear hair vitamins now and not really seeing much of a difference in growth 😢
I have not really heard positive things about sugar bear hair vitamins. Maybe try new vitamins. I'm so sorry, you aren't having a lot of growth 😭

Honestly, Sugar Bear Hair has always rubbed me the wrong way... apparently, it’s 90% sugar and 10% of actual vitamins. And when I see it’s been advertised by Kylie Jenner, of all people, the girl who wears wigs and extensions non-stop but rocks a bob underneath, I seriously doubt it does anything. But hey, I would love for someone to prove me wrong bc i’m all for hair vitamins that work and look that cute!!

Started using the entire line a couple weeks ago! The whole detox wash and the whole 30 day vitamins, elixir, and the booster. ALREADY SEEN GROWTH! An inch within the time using it.

I’m loving this challenge. My hair grows pretty quick and even quicker since i saw ur challenge and invested in a mielle growth oil and mielle hair growth gummies... i saw almost an inch of growth so i didnt feel bad when i had to trim my hair
I have been using all three products for 30 days and had to stop because my skin broke out terribly. I stopped using them a couple of weeks ago and let my skin clear up. I'll start re-introducing the products one at a time to see which caused the breakouts. It's a shame because I saw results, but like you, I'd rather have short hair and good skin!

Hey girl how about you try out Curls Blueberry Bliss line? They have some products made specifically for hair growth and I think the rest of that line is made to strengthen hair.

I love these products! I took the pills for one month only but I’ve been using the booster and the elixir for four months now and I do see results. My hair is denser, I have a lot of baby hairs growing around my hairline and my scalp is less visible. I was having problems with hair density and I think these products really helped! I also use the pre biotic primer, the pro biotic scrub and the post biotic conditioner once a month to do a clarifying wash. 😊😊

I'm late to the challenge...SORRY...but I just found Bianca this month so better late than never, right? I just switched from DevaCurl. I'm playing with some of the different brands that are recommended on her channel (which my wallet is LOVING btw). I started deep conditioning 1x a week, am wearing my hair in a pineapple when sleeping, and ordered a silk pillowcase from Amazon along with some hair growth promoting products. I am ready to see what this challenge does for my hair. I'm also excited to connect with other curlies cause...my straight-haired friends just do not understand the struggle!
Also, I’m obsessed with the curlsmith deep conditioner. I think it’s making my hair healthier!
I've been using the scalp booster and density elixir for 5 months now and it definitely helps with hair growth. I didn't use them for overall length but more to help with thinning edges. The way I used the two products, I was able to get two months use out of them so the price wasn't too terrible. Using both within a month would have flattened my hair as I have fine, normal to high porosity 2b-2c hair. I enjoy the scents of both of them!

I just saw a video yesterday about rice water. She used one cup of rice In the video she washed the rice first, and then she boiled the cup of rice in four cups of water. Then she placed it in a glass container and stored it in a dark place for 24 hours, then boiled it for 5 let it cool down and you can use it as a pre poo. The rest of the water you can put it back in the container and in the fridge.

I like your growth challenges but I would love to see one focused on diet. Like you, I am a curly girl with acne prone skin. I am also iron deficient and was recently diagnosed with PCOS. I had terrible shredding and thinning. THEE only thing that helped with my skin and hair was a change in my diet. I drink a green smoothie everyday (which does wonders for my skin and hair).
Since we checking in or whatever: I can say that my hair has grown alot since starting with you. I've been focusing on the back of my hair personally. I've gone from a curly asymmetrical bob to my back curls touching the top of my shoulders (with shrinkage). And I had to cocktail my products to get there. Mostly mane choice since they all promote length retention. Cant wait for the next 3mo check in.

So, I wanna try Curlsmith but I'm being super frugal because I budgeted my car to be paid off by the end year (2.5 yrs early). So, I'm trying the shea moisture hemp sees oil lush length shampoo and conditioner. I also started deep conditioning weekly this year. It's only 12$ for 13 fl oz. I'm late to the grow curls curly train so I'm only a week in with the products.
So I just completed my 1st 3mths......if nothing else I know my eye lashes, nails and skin have benefited most from these supplements. But my hair....its growing beautifully 😍 next set I will actually measure my hair to see the growth. Thank you for putting us on curl smith!!! It's now my hands down favorite of all brands!!

Watch out for that postpartum shedding! It’s definitely real and it’s very scary! Hopefully the vitamins can help prevent it from happening to you.

The biotin breakouts happen to most people, you have to drink a ton of water (more than you usually would). Otherwise the biotin causes acne because of how strong it is. Just hydrate and try a smaller mg of biotin. It helps, if you ever want to test out biotin pills again❤

By eating a well balanced diet that gives you the same effects but maybe better? Makes sense
Don't worry about it. The clinical research doesn't show any benefit for hair growth, anyway.
Keep drinking water and eating healthy and your hair will grow! Hair growth also depends on genetics of each person. Some people hair grows faster then others.
I apply homemade deep conditioner for hair growth using ingredients that I already have in my kitchen

The other brands we all love like soultanicals or the main choice have sales all the time so is easy to stock up and use it. huh... I was thinking about curl smith this weekend and I was browsing their site trying to figure out what I wanted to try. I might just give their hair growth products a try and see how that goes. I've been taking hair, skin and nail vitamins with biotin for the past couple of weeks. It'll be 30 days at the end of the month and I plan on doing a length check them. I want to give these current vitamins a real chance before switching to another product... thanks for positing the following video.

Love your videos because your concerned about the health of your hair and the ingredients in products. I use several of the curlsmith products oil-in-cream, a few probiotic products and the elixir. I do believe the elixir does help in hair growth. My daughter just commented my poofy afro was bigger. I was skeptical because of the price so I ordered then returned. Then reordered the elixir. I love it. It's not heavy or greasy.

Hey Girl, Love the Video. But just let me hip you to something that can help with your milk production since you said you still are feeding, plus it can work for is your hair..??... You will have to look into Fenugreek Seeds or Powder. ( I got powder). It is said to give a lot of Hair growth and there are so many D.I.Y. videos here on youtube. I have just started an challenge myself using Fenugreek, Aloe vera and biotin liquid vitiams. Good Luck on yours.

trust issues LOL the accuracy
I started using ALL of those, except the pill as of April 11th!! I have been nervous to try the pill because I hate taking pills! lol I definitely need to create a t-shirt or use a old striped t-shirt though lol I took a picture but not sure it was the greatest lol I hope it all works for all of us!! I am also deep conditioning once a week using the Double Deep by Curlsmith since I tend to have dry curls. :-)
In March (right before the lockdown) I had 3-4 inches cut off due to breakage 😢 This caused a major reset. I haven’t checked my length since. I’ll muster up the strength to check in the summer.

BiancaReneeToday me neither until about a month ago and now i’m obsessed with finding info on it lol. Its essentially a mask schedule that rotates moisture masks, nutrition masks, and protein masks in a specific sequence according to your hair needs in a given cycle. After one cycle ends you’re supposed to reevaluate your hair needs and start a new cycle with a new rotation and sequence of masks. If youre interested at all check out The Hair Routine website and organicallyanna here on yt she has a video about it. On The Hair Routine’s website they have a hair quiz in to get your starter routine. They do sell products, but you can totally use products you already have.
Girl you should totally try Chébé powder and paste for haie growth as a video idea!!!
Can’t stop staring at your curls
I've been doing my own routine since november and I've been using the camille rose naturals cocoa nibs oil for my scalp, doing a hair mask 1-2x a week, and taking collagen in my coffee and biotin and prenatal vitamins (all from walmart) my hair basically doesnt grow hence the extensive routine 😂 but since nov. My hair has grown 4 inches which is a lot for me!
Might need to try this...had plans on cutting my hair but due to the quarantine that’s not going to happen so it’s just been hiding in a scrub cap at work for the past month sadly.
Thanks for sharing your updates! I just finished 3 months of sugar bear hair vitamins! I think there was some growth but nothing super noticeable. I plan to try the curls liquid vitamins next and try their grow and slay challenge!

I just ordered mine and the new gel :)))) I’m so excited and can’t wait!!! Maybe next time can you try something that isn’t to expensive too? Do high dollar vs less expensive?
