I moved to AZ 3 years ago form IL for the weather. Little did I know as a diesel truck mechanic the amazing things I have seen in this state. Its like a old truck museum crossed with mad max. So many old trucks still running and those with a little work could be again.
Thank you for capturing the past before mother nature reclaims her land, sadly there are many rural outback towns in Australia that have gone the same way as Yucca Rural decline, forgotten people. The haunting music is so appropriate to the scene. Richard in outback Western Australia .
I live about 30 miles from Yucca. I like the yellow tanker trailer in the background at the beginning of the clip. The geodesic dome was the first thing I noticed when I moved out here 25 years ago and then the truck on the pole. That's all that's left of a big junk yard that used to be there. I've never seen it from that perspective before. Thanks.
Awesome video Thank you for sharing. I used to see a lot of Classic Old Iron in Kingman, Riviera, Bullhead city and Wikieup Az in the Mid 90’s. Driving for Buster Brown. Az and Nevada, Utah and California Still Full of Classic old Iron.
Haha! I live in Yucca! You really captured our bustling community…not! Indian restaurant and the Pride truckstop are the only thing left here with a pulse! Oh yes, we have a PO too.
Thanks for commenting!! It's a special place, the only thing I would mind about it is the highway noise. Other than that pretty cool place. I moved away from the city 4 years ago cause I hate traffic and crowds. But for young people I understand the draw of the city.
@@catherinesalmon3310 i owned a w928 with that same bumper it was from saskatchewan. It was a winch truck i owned. Its in a short on my channel. I think the red one is a autocar

Some great old Kenworths. Wow
Brings a tear to my eye.
Holy smokes what a beautiful group of really potentially restorable trucks.
I like this, well assembled.

Some real classics going to waste there. What is the truck with the big pipes at 2:22 mark?

Yup, I’m retired at 68 and I don’t need much. Fully off grid way out east of town and it’s incredibly quiet out here!

If you get near Yuma Arizona be sure to visit the Cloud Museum.
Many Many Model A and Model T cars there.
There are videos on UA-cam
There still better then today's snap together plastic trucks. Old school ways rule.
