When we're together again in Heaven, I bet he'll still sing to me "I just called..."
I would always call my beautiful bride and play this to her.If she didn't answer I would leave it on her voice mail. We were married 35 years and dated for 5 years. I lost her to cancer 5 days before Christmas (2020).She is up in Heaven with our youngest son who went home to be with the Lord in 2013. He was only 17. 😭 I await our glorious reunion.
My dear brother passed away in January. He suffered with dementia for the last years of his life and he was only 63 when he passed away. For the last year, at the suggestion of his social worker, I called him once a week (we lived 1000 miles apart) and would sing to him, mostly Beatles songs. But I sang this song to him frequently, as we both were lovers of Stevie Wonder. Now I can’t hear this song without weeping, missing him from the depths of my being.
