    This looks great but does it collect logs for postprocessing? The specs don't say

    just an idea.. put a laser distance finder to enhance/replace the pole.

    So what is this thing? A super accurate GPS locator for surveying? I have no idea from this video why I should care about it. What does it do, apart from being waterproof?

      Short answer yes. It's a rugged, incredibly accurate GNSS tool. Good for surveying for sure but anything really where you might need to know or mark extremely accurate locations on our planet. Think marking underground cables/piping, construction planning, precision agriculture, etc.
