    La vi a esta pelea, pero con el paso de los años y lo hotrendo del boxeo argentino actual, la imagen de Martillo Roldán se agiganta de manera descomunal. El "animal" Fletcher era exactamente eso. Lo vi en otras peleas y dava pavor ver lo que pegaba. Y Martillo lo noqueó.¡¡ Gloria a Juan D Roldan!!💖⚘

      Hagler caught him in the eye with the opposite side of the glove, not the thumb side. It's clear in the replay. Roldan was giving Hagler hell though. A real tough cabrón and awkward and hard to predict.

    • @euclideszoto997
      @euclideszoto997 Рік тому

      @@ThePsvan It's a shame it happened. Roldans eye was injured and technically they should have stopped the fight right there. Roldan's awkward style was partly to blame but it's in the past now. They both have passed away. But before that eye injury the look in haglers eyes sitting in the corner after the first 2 rounds showed Roldan was a real threat!

    37 years gone on last 10th-nov of this most categorical fight of Juan in Vegas, before Bob Arum, Max Albert, ESPN, big crowds of cable TV and grabbing so big chance at Hagler. All he achieved from then on was far beyond his humble gifts, presenting huge fights on monsters like Marvin Hagler, Hearn, Michael Nunn, this last he poorly under performed while Nun would have to be more matched fight for him (Nunn was koed his next by James Toney). He unfortunately is at this very mom fighting his most difficult fight ever, in intensive care unit, breath mechanically assisted, holding on COV19, lets pray for him. he was really champ at life too

    When it comes to fighters who fight like Fletcher did...every fight a war...they often lose it suddenly. Fletcher was done here, a shell of the boxer he used to be after taking years of punishment. And let's not discount the effect of an ex-con and street guy coming into hundreds of thousands of dollars falling into bad habits and questionable choices. Frank was just a bad seed. Once his career was over, he almost immediately went back to his previous world of thuggerey, crime and prison stretches. There isn't much information out there regarding his current whereabouts but I believe I saw a local documentary stating he's about 10 years into a 40 year sentence for murder.
