Fernandez is the epitome of mass media and football fans still attributing far too much credibility into international football and tournaments like the World Cup. The majority of the matches Fernandez played in in the 2022 World Cup making him a 'star' were probably no better than Championship standard. There needs to be a complete reset in people's thinking aboutinternationzl football and World Cups. Were not still in the 1980s when the World Cup genuinely was the zenith of fotball.
When people say Enzo won the World Cup it’s like me saying Wes Brown has multiple Premier League medals. A lot of not so great players have won major honours, doesn’t make them top players.

Enzo sadly is a the product of the mess that is Chelsea. Poch has completely botched the midfield. It's not just Enzo, but Caicedo as well. Put them in different teams and they have great games. Enzo currently is being utilized to run back and forth and defend and press...rarely having time to influence the game. Caicedo, who at Brighton was utilized to evade that first press and push the game forward.....again is being utilized to do silly work, always looking out of position as well.
Caicedo's just not that good. Him and Cucurella had a good season at Brighton and then they pulled Chelsea's pants down with the fee.
What does he do well?? Well it's quite excruciating when you're surrounded by trash bags on the field managed by a decent Manager

Enzo was excellent playing for 2 different Argentine teams that won titles and that got him to Benfica and the National team. Enzo is on the same level as a Tielemanns. Good at some things and sometimes can even look great but is not a top player. He doesnt have the athleticism and doesnt read the game well enough. And they still have 6 matches to play. On top of that, Chelsea’s wingers refuse to track back. This clickbait nonsense is incredibly lazy. If you actually watch Chelsea, Caicedo and Enzo are nowhere near Chelsea’s biggest problems. But the media are so hyper fixated on their price tags that they aren’t actually watching Chelsea objectively.
