My sentiments exactly. I’ve been watching them for 3 years as well. My K drama list is growing, they have kept me company through lockdowns. Nothing else worth viewing here in Australia 🇦🇺 either. Fed up of the drugs, forensics, guns and car chases. Love the multilayered storylines of K dramas, akin to peeling a onion each episode. Watched some very unusual storylines with great acting that would put so called Hollywood stars to shame. Plus the Soundtracks are unbelievable. They too are on my playlist.

I also have become a fan of K-pop .That name to me is a little misleading.People who are not familiar think it’s music for teens. I have discovered so many beautiful voices you can’t believe singing in another language can effect you in such an emotional way. Enjoy your journey.

D.O out of EXO was fabulous in “100days my prince “ Then Junho out of 2PM first met him in Wok of Love, where he played a Chef, next time I saw him he was dancing and singing on stage, in red leather pants, wearing nothing from the waist up but perspiration. Couldn’t quite revisit Wok of Love in quite the same way that I first did, and that’s just two instances. So much talent for a small country, DAEBAK! 😊 I’m even getting that I am understanding basic Korean without reading the subtitles. I love their wit and the way they can laugh at themselves. So yes I am enjoying the journey and the music.

My very first foray into Kdrama was 49days. I hadn’t long lost my husband due to an illness, I couldn’t concentrate on anything, just flicking and the nights were interminably long. Somehow on Netflix this Kdrama of ‘49days’ showed up, I liked the synopsis. It is one of those series you either like or you don’t, understand or you don’t. Personally I loved it, haven’t looked back since, that was Nov 2019. Haven’t seen Rain or Shine, but it is on my ‘ to watch ‘ list. I have watched all his others. Yes I know about Viki and Dramacool, I have watched The Red Sleeve, Junho was great in that, the character of the female lead frustrated me no end though, she was so stubborn. What more did she want of him. She more than anyone being a court lady knew the protocols. I wanted to reach out and hit some sense into her. Some of the older series are available on UA-cam as well. Love to read comments from the uploads, you often find real gem of series you didn’t know about recommended to you. That was how I found out about ‘Hyena’ ‘ Misty’ ‘ Faith’ & ‘Doctor Stranger’. The list goes on, but those 4, IMO are underrated sleepers for international viewers. If you haven’t seen them, I hope you enjoy. 👍😊
