I would definitely love a part 2. Thank yall for making this video. Emma obviously has a great support system and I think that makes a world of a difference. Of course the most important one is having faith in the Lord to guide us in the right direction. Yall are doing great!

Its awesome that grandpa is very understanding about it. My in laws would indirectly say that the reason my son didnt talk was because my family didnt talk enough to him, sort of putting the blame on my family since we live with my parents. My husband would say my son would of been talking and different if we had lived with his parents. Obviously they are all ignorant, but things did change once my son was diagnosed with autism. My son is like Emma where he's "hard to get." He doesnt like affection unless its from people he knows. Also, there's also a theory about having a gluten free diet that may help people with autism. Never heard of broccoli sprouts but i will try it!

I understand where you are coming from. My husband's side of the family would make comments as to my son's hyperactivity blaming me for not "taking him out enough". My son has Autism, ADHD, and a language disorder. You see this type of scenario in a lot of families but especially in Latino families. It all comes down to ignorance and not being educated on these topics.

Wow! This was an awesome video. When Anthony's dad first described the feeling of Emma not giving him hugs and love when she was little, my eyes just filled with tears. Emma has come so far. Her progress is definitely noticeable. You guys are great parents and you have a great support system. I would love to see a part 2 and hear more of Mr. Gilbert's views. I'm pretty sure I would agree with most of them. Keep up the great parenting 👍. You guys are so blessed to have Emma. She is a beautiful and smart little girl 💛

It crazy that these broccoli sprouts are almost $60 on Amazon now! I know your dad mentioned that it was $20-30 in the video but looks like it’s doubled in price now. It’s great to see these pharmaceutical companies and private businesses make supplements and/or medicine to help kids on the spectrum but it’s really horrible that they try to take advantage of parents trying to help their kids and capitalize on their struggle for financial gain. No way should broccoli cost shy of $60! I know you guys have nothing to do with this, just venting. Of course you’ll shell out what you can to help your child, I just hate that these companies price gouge knowing that parents are willing, eager and desperate to try something to help their child.

I didn't know they went up in price 😫
      I know what you mean
All the supplements are really expensive even the vitamins I get her simple spectrum are also about 50 60 bucks 😩

@@raisingautism8214 hi there. Just love your little family. Thank you so much for sharing your story with all of us. I do have one question- I am wondering which vitamin supplements that you give to Emma And in what form? I’ve been researching and wondered if there is a certain company/brands you would recommend. Thank you so much.

God bless you all. Emma has a loving supportive family. Sometimes I feel like I’m all alone in this with my 9 year old daughter that has a neurological disorder. It’s so hard when I’m the only one trying to figure out how to help her. I’m constantly reading and researching on why my daughter has developmental delays, learning disabilities, cognitive delays, ADHD, etc. It’s so overwhelming but like your father said, “Thank God he gave you that child”. God chose us to be their parents because He knows what we can handle. ❤️
