Our star is too heavy for our fake tree too, so we've folded over the top branch to make it a shorter and stumpier but it's much stronger so the star actually stays up now!
On the picture for this video I wondered why there were a pair of legs next to your tree lol the top half of Will had merged into the background. Old lady eyesight obviously 😂😂😂
Love the tree! We have a real tree we cut down from the farm this year and as we started screwing it into the stand it started getting more and more tilted! We couldn't fix it, so if you look at from one angle, it's great, but from the side, it's REALLY leaning over! We just laughed, and said yup, looks about right for this year, lol! :)
I'm really enjoying your vlogmas videos. I wasn't planning to decorate this holiday but I'm feeling festive enough that I put up a tabletop tree in the bedroom (which is where I do most of my reading). I'm looking forward to whatever else you have to share with us during vlogmas.

That’s an idea! Will was talking about ‘fashioning a stand’ for it but a chopstick would be much easier haha

On a fake tree, gather up the top few branches to make a stronger base for the star 🌟
Thanks, we have tried that but the branches at the top are very long and floppy (ooerr! 😂) and can’t really be bent without getting damaged
