The reason why people HATE smurfs is simple. It ruins competitive integrity. If you load into a game knowing it's going to be lost before you load in, you won't even bother trying.
People care about the NOW and in that case, you are getting destroyed for no other reason other than some random high elo player in need of an ego boost. You might be able to learn something by watching VoDs but almost no one does that.
Why? Because instead of being able to hop into the next game you have to watch yourself lose to gather information. ( as if that isn't demoralizing enough to see the first time ) Instead of playing to get better, you spend more time watching VoDs to get better. Time is limited. Not everyone can allocate enough time to do so.
And last but not least Ranked is LITERALLY advertised to match you against opponents of similar skill.

@@deejayf69 people making jobs out of a game ruined the FUN of the game they should've left the competitive aspect out of the normal game experience
There's a big difference between 5 chall players leveling an account specifically for a ranked competition as part of their job and a 6 season hardstuck plat 4 shitter buying an account inted into bronze by bots for an ego boost.
After leveling these acc's will probably spend 50 games max before they get to high diamond/masters (hopefully)
Yea what are you learning when some other lane is 0-20 vs a chall player. There are 4 other people getting fucked over for no reason. Additionally there might be a couple of times in game learning vs a better player, but after that it’s them taking there existing advantage and styling on you.

It depends on how big the skill gap is. You can gain alot by playing against better players.
