Eagles fan here. Happy we have Sirianni but you guys are BLESSED to have Doug. He's such an awesome coach and man, and will set up a winning culture there. He will be the best coach your franchise ever had.
@@isaiahfenstermaker6479 Tom Coughlin has that distinction unless someone coaches us to a Super Bowl, but it's a massive difference under Pederson already. Arguably the first time since Coughlin we've had a real head coach.
@@rangergeorge6808 I definitely think there's no reason Doug can't get us a Superbowl. It seems like Baalke and him are super in tune with each other as far as roster building goes, he's got the full support of Shad Khan, he is excellent with his X's and O's.

I'm not remotely a Jags fan, but it would be absolutely hilarious and awesome if they went deep into the playoffs this year. I would root for them so hard, just to stick it to Urban.

@@mickey34jb going into the season, all we wanted was to win maybe 6-7 games and not look like a weekly comedy show. Urban Meyer was a flamboyant metroid, sucking the life out of the franchise. Not only are the Jags not terrible, they might actually be good. Maybe Rich has a hate boner for Urban, but he’s not wrong about how shitty he was either.

Reason I love to listen to and respect Rich Eisen is because he will actually talk about the Jags. We get to hear from a media person's view how the Jags are doing.
He's the only media member I feel like he really does want us to do good.

I am a Buckeye born and bred and an Ohio State graduate (Archie Griffin era) but I agree with everything you say about Urban Meyer's stint with the Jagquars. It was an unmitigated debacle - and 99.9 percent of it was his own fault. His actions as the Jaguars head coach really made me rethink a lot of things I once thought about him.

A competent professional coach and a good draft are a good start to rehabbing the franchise. It going to be up to the owner and front office to keep it going by paying their players and making the right free agent calls.

Honestly I think Pederson has a real shot to get Coach Of The Year. He outcoached the hell out of my Chargers. There wasn't any point in that game where the Jags weren't in control.
