kind of same here, when there was nothing left, I started the episodes. I was listening to them at night, lying in bed, and got startled by the sound effects. I seriously thought something fell off a cupboard, got up and checked, nothing. went back, and more sounds that made me angry, thinking my neighbour was overdoing it with something I could hear as loudly as if it was in my own room. Then it dawned on me, went up, lights on, monitor on, rewound and played back and indeed, the sounds came from the audiobook! Look at you creating another great book. Did you know you're mind cannot tell the difference. Between physically doing something and thinking about doing something. Thank you for the journey🤭😂😂😂
Dear James, The Squire is an exciting story, I enjoyed it so much. However I felt the culmination of the confrontation was a bit compressed and might be elaborated more. Or it might be just my personal desire for the story not to be finished so fast. I'm grateful that you left a place for a sequel. Thank you so much!
Dear James, I've only just finished this story and it's kind of hard to snap out of it lol - brilliant story, great character development, very captivating and immersive. Just wonderful. Also the funny bits were hilarious. One of those that I still remember was along the line of, "'please don't throw up!' - he'd seen blood and death but listening to someone gagging got to him." That was SO funny! hahaha! I find it funny that you slip in similar lines across your works, like (paraphrasing) "the alien's vomit started to dissolve the floor boards." Hahaha, I love that kind of humour :) Back to this story: really, really good. I am so glad that you uploaded the pure version and on top as a single file. I think I would never have made it to the end when it was still episodes with sound effects. And boy am I glad I listened to this start to end. So good. Thank you so much for sharing yet another great work of yours. Alright, I hope to make it to your live stream on Sunday noon. Until then, have a really good time and take care :)
That was great sir. Very well written and makes they little projector in my head play. Lol. I was waiting on the epilogue set about 30’ years in the future where the telling of story of “King Colt and Queen Rain” story is told through the kingdoms is told on the anniversary of their victory by the eldest child of each of the royals…..including Talya their eldest child. (Sorry for the probable misspellings of their names). Hats off again sir!! Thank you for sharing and I look forward to the pre live stream questions.
Oh yes!!! Great idea. Not only for this work but for a whole handful of his other works. . . . Would make for awesome closure on some of the books. . Thanx for sharing :)
Another great book and kudos to the narrator for doing a super job, as a wannabe writer myself and someone that is semi well read how do you stop yourself from writing like a particular author or how are you not influenced by other authors, I find myself second guessing myself. One of my favourite fantasy authors is Gemmell and it seems this particular book is in the tradition of his works which is wonderful. I remember reading about another author and she stopped watching Game of Thrones as she started to write in old english lol. It would be great for aspiring writers to hear some of your opinions along these lines, and how you managed to write so many books perhaps a podcast? Many thanks again.
Everything you write is going to be influenced by everything your read, watch, and experience. It's unavoidable. My advice is to trust yourself and just write your story. As long as you're not actually plagiarizing someone, you'll be fine. It's interesting that you mentioned that my book seems to be in the tradition of David Gemmell. I've never read any of his books, but I'll wager that many of the authors I have read did read them and that they influenced their own stories. Then when I read their stories they influenced what I wrote and by extension so did Gemmell. Now you see why I don't worry about that sort of thing. It'll drive you nuts. Best of luck with your writing.

On a big 32" monitor with 1080 res and zoom switched on, it's OK, but reading printed books are now out of the question, unfortunately. I'm happy that there are so many free audiobooks available. For various reasons, I don't do any online business (particularly online payments) so I am really happy about any free audiobook. Like these here :) Man, what joyful times going through all of these :)
Fantastic book. Really enjoyed it as a weekly posting, going to be great being able to hear it again in its full book format. Excellent idea uploading this.
Full credit for that idea goes to another subscriber called ArtBlade.
I like using my mind vision to this great story.thank u
Really enjoyed this! I feel like it would make a great 1 season limited series TV show!
That would be cool.
No more uploads till the first of the year oh man that's going to suck..lol
I would love to listen to a live stream.
And what a great looking cover for this book
Cool, I'm looking at Sunday around noon for the livestream.

Thank you for the tip.
I just finished this book, and wow was it absolutely fantastic. I hope sometime in the future you do decide to make some sequels to this book.
Thanks for all your hard work and effort.
Just finished listening another great story. 👍
Thanks for all the hard work you do. Your a gifted writer and I can't wait to see what you come out with next!
That's very kind, thank you.
Excellent tale, thank you
Thank you, great story, and the reader is excellent.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I'm not terribly far into the story but everytime i hear callian or she mentions him with wistfulness i want to roast my phone in oil. I swear there's more slime on that one character than a whole boat load of eels. 😂
Another excellent story. I enjoy your work Thank you
You're welcome. Glad to hear you're enjoying my stories.
your books is quite nice :) slowely going true them all while playing games where i dont need game sounds, or when cleaning my apartment making dinner etc. looking forward to more of your works at a later date :)
thank you Mr. Wisher.
Thank you for the great entertainment!
Great book!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you so much, what a treat for the ears really! 😍
I'd like to recommend the audiobook Noara: The Last Moon.
It's THE most accomplished audio production I've ever heard. Everything is perfect - the cast, the voices, the soundscape - it's fascinating!
Enjoy!
Hi James - this is really excellent too.
Look at you creating another great book. Did you know you're mind cannot tell the difference. Between physically doing something and thinking about doing something. Thank you for the journey🤭😂😂😂
Fantastic story, I thoroughly enjoyed this one 😊
Glad to hear it.
This was a fun journey! Great job!
This was one of my favorites 😄
Dear James,
The Squire is an exciting story, I enjoyed it so much. However I felt the culmination of the confrontation was a bit compressed and might be elaborated more. Or it might be just my personal desire for the story not to be finished so fast. I'm grateful that you left a place for a sequel. Thank you so much!
Another fantastic book! Thank you so much!
You're welcome.
I loved this book too and I agree it does need a sequel
in my opinon, one of your best!
Glad you liked it.
Again, love your work. Thank you. 🌹
You're welcome.
Thanks very much for the kind words.
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
I really enjoy the pragmatic,no nonse thinking of your main character in all your books. If killing someone solves the problem.....
Glad you enjoyed it, Rob.
Oh yes!!!
Great idea. Not only for this work but for a whole handful of his other works. . . .
Would make for awesome closure on some of the books. .
Thanx for sharing :)
Loved it. Now, to devour another of your worlds.
You're really good at not letting the guy get the girl in your books.
Thank you! Another banger!!
This story was great! Would love a sequel
Maybe some day.
This story is so Good! Great character development, story progression is so smooth, the PoV switches just work amazing.
