I used to have an excellent career that was well paid. I had my own beautiful 3 bed house, I traveled around the world and really wanted for little. Fortunately I don’t have kids. Then one day bang…I popped my back (at work). I had emergency surgery that failed badly. That was that. Goodbye job, goodbye travel, goodbye nice house, hello disability benefits, hello one bedroom apartment, hello a life where I couldn’t work. My point here is that 1) never take anything for granted, and 2) never look down on people live in, or close to, poverty, live in social housing, furnish their homes from fb Marketplace and thrift stores and can’t afford even a week in a caravan….because you don’t know what tomorrow has in store for you. And something else….the community I live in is a poor one, but each and every person will never see a neighbour go hungry, or a baby without nappies, or an elderly neighbour without groceries, because we all look after each other down here.
Yep globally 1.3 billion people are disabled in some way with 80% of disabilities being ones you can’t actually see and the most common way people become disabled are issues with mobility and it can happen to anyone for any reason, so many people forget that, as you’ve personally experienced and it takes away so much but people love to joke about it because they THINK it can’t impact them or someone they know one day. I was born premature and started losing vision in my left eye at 9. If I’d had a more competent eye doctor and more info had been known about my eye condition 20+ years ago, it could’ve been prevented but that’s just not how it played out. I had to come to terms with the fact that I lived in a world that wasn’t built for disabled people at a young age but it’s a harsh reality that absolutely no one is safe from if you drive yourself to work or just have funky genetics when it comes to health. It’s always easier to poke fun of something or someone when it’s not you being poked. Edit: I added commas to make some parts easier to read, didn’t mean to create a run on like that lol
You are so right. I remember being so poor I had to stand on the side of a highway w a sign, begging for $40 for my utility bill. Fancy car after nice car passed me, looking elsewhere as hard as they could. Who stopped? Who went into the fast food place next door and brought me food? Who gave me what they could? The ppl in the beat up, crappy, barely running cars. It’s why I’ve nvr trusted the wealthy
Thank you so much for speaking about your story!🙏 I hope your doing a lot better now coming from someone else who has a hard life due to disabilities. I personally grew up in an lower income household so I could never imagine wanting to live like this and especially post it online for everyone to see.
That’s a lot different than a man who is e-begging on TikTok for money from strangers who refuses to work a real job because he doesn’t want the mother of his other children to garnish his wages. So he doesn’t file taxes to hide his self employed income. he chooses to spend his money on expensive computers and gaming equipment and not on getting his own children beds. So his fake wife gets on the Internet and begs people to buy things on her Amazon wish list. It’s not even remotely the same thing. You’re a good person. These people are not, and their children are suffering.
to me, these people don't want children, they want BABIES. they want them to stay small, nonverbal, and needy. she's so ecstatic as a mother of 'many little ones' but what happens when she's the parent of multiple teens? as someone who comes from a long line of fertility problems, i dont understand why these people take for granted the idea of life. you're not just a parent for 18 years, but for the rest of your life.
Because babies are like pocketbooks and purses to these people. You can pop them on your hip and everyone goes NUTS over a cute baby or toddler, and that ends by the time those kids are in school. I know damn well she probably won't care half as much about her kids the second they're all 8-15, probably even more by the time they're 16-18, because that's when those kids stop being "cute" and start becoming their own person.
I had a mother when I was in social services, loved that we bought her free stuff. Morally, I felt it was wrong after she said “I love them when they’re babies but after toddlers I just have more”. She had 9 children btw
I agree that you’re a parent forever not just until the kid turns 18, I’m eighteen and have finished school but I still rely on my parents substantially due to my disability and mental health problems, im as reliant on my parents as I was when I was 14
That’s why I absolutely despise how much of becoming a parent focuses on babies and the baby years, like you’re NOT just having a BABY, you’re having a whole PERSON that will grow up and be a teenager then an adult that has to navigate through life.
THANK! YOU! The fact that they have them sleeping near the front door is beyond dangerous. I was poor growing up but even my parents made sure to keep my bed away from the doors just in case someone breaks in.
The idea of family channel with wholesome vids and parenting advice sounds nice, but somehow all these parent keep turning it into child abuse or neglect
"Children don't know they're poor until someone else tells them"... and here their mother is blasting all over the internet that they're poor and have to sleep on the floor of the kitchen and living room. She's setting them up in the worst way but she calls herself setting them up for social media careers in the future. Smh.
@@toxiczombiewolf5692 I don’t know how old you are, but I hope things have turned out ok for you. Despite what a child is born into, with hard work and determination they can always improve their situation later in life. It’s hard, but possible. I hope for all the best for you.
I am so glad I was a kid in a pre-social media world. Kids at school found out from gossiping parents. Suddenly everyone knew my dad was the town drunk and other issues. But when we moved it didn't follow me to my new school. I can search my name and my parents name and there is nothing there.
The way she's always smirking &very aware that it is not thought to be a good idea whatsoever to put children on social media, paired w/ the fact she keeps churning out babies despite living in cps levels of poverty, makes me feel like she is actuaalllyyy having babies to rage bait ppl... which is absolutely fucbfung bonkers! She *must* have social workers knocking on her door like monthly surely... God i cannot wait until posting kids online is illegal.... the US is so fjvuking pathetic for child protection laws; it's gonna be a good day when we stop treating kids like a parents property & start treating them like actual people. The lack of legislation to punish this behavior is why we have "parents" like this out here talking about their 7th baby like it's a new iPhone and another pregnancy like their next unboxing video. To all those trash insta mommy's/dads out there: Q. Who is the one person who should NEVER be buying the baby's diapers no matter how broke you may be? A. The baby. I hate these people so freaking much!!!😅
Also, it is literally illegal for them to have this many children in one house. Like, the apartment complex is technically violating housing laws in the US by renting to them, so they've obviously lied about how many children they have, and all it would take is literally one CPS call for those kids to be on the path to removal. God, I am so heated rn
yes! I don’t know what state they’re in, but i experienced a similar living situation to these kids growing up. My parents had three kids & we took in two kids (their parents were addicts and needed a home). 5 kids, 3 adults (parents & my grandma) in one house. My little brother was living in a room with some of the younger girls (all of us were girls minus my brother) and I had a room to myself because I was the oldest. Child protective services found out about our living circumstances (my brother mentioned hating having to share a room with girls at school lol) & we had to switch rooms and move my brother into my room because of it. CPS should definitely be called on this family.
I’m not sure how they’re getting by. In actual rentals, this is breach of lease. If she’s in government housing, which I assume there’s mandated inspections that must be done. How??
@@Kaydee-haiku I've lived in hood-ass apartments a lot of my life (black mold, crackheads, crumbling ceilings, iykyk) and they literally do not ask one question after you've moved in. I am willing to bet dollars to donuts they're in a slum apartment that doesn't follow up, but there's legal repercussions for the complex regardless if they let it happen, so they have a vested interest. I would never call someone's housing on them, and I'm, for legal reasons, not stating that I am calling CPS, but CPS would be a better route because the last thing anyone wants is these kids living in cars.
@@thelocalmothman the only reason I didn't edit is I got info that more comments = more visibility for a video and I really need everyone to see this video IMO
Just to clarify, I think the black lady who posted the responding TikTok had a son with him, but this son has never been part of the ‘resilient Jenkins’. He then ditched the child and momma and never saw his eldest child. The ‘father’ then moved on to a new baby momma and had a second son (the little black boy in the videos) and he moved him in with baby momma 3 (Stephanie). But daddio has only claimed he has 1 son from a previous relationship and has failed to completely acknowledge his eldest son. I think is eldest son is actually very lucky to have an amazing mother and sure doesn’t need a deadbeat ‘Tiktok’ dad or be part of a toxic TikTok family
This is like the third time I've seen a youtuber get this information wrong 😭 the mother *clearly* states that he's abadoned his child and owes child support (and at the very start says she's not going to reveal her childs identity). How would he be showing that child on the tiktok page if he's never even seen him 🤣
Hell, in Portland specifically, just need the 72 bus, take it to se 82nd, hit Hông Phat and SF market. Asian markets, two blocks apart, most affordable dishes I've ever seen.
If you are so poor that you can't give your kids BEDS and basic needs. You shouldn't be having kids. End of conversation. I know that having kids is very important to people and To some people it sounds classist to tell people not to do something because of their their funds. But I DO NOT CARE. Most kids who were raised like this hated it and were embarrassed. Some struggle with disordered eating as adults because they lacked food as kids. There is rampant adultification in low income families with multiple kids like this because they can't afford childcare. None of these are good for children in the long run. Kids are a wonderful gift. I believe this fully. But Kids didn't ask to be born into these situations. Putting more and more children into a situation like this WILLINGLY is disgusting, selfish, and harmful. Love between parents and children is very important. But Love alone isn't enough to pay bills or keep those kids fed. Maybe in a perfect world. But this is America in 2024. Let's be real.
I agree. We aren’t poor but we aren’t exactly well off and we try to give our kids everything we can afford too. If I couldn’t afford to buy them beds or for them to have their own room, then I’d look at them going to live with a relative or something until I’ve got myself into a better financial position. I wouldn’t continue being a baby making machine and this is coming from a mum of 3. I’m currently studying at uni while my partner works full time so that I can get a better paying job then we will be swapping roles so that we can give our children a better future.
I saw someone the other day say “Poor people deserve to have kids” And it just.. felt a bit off.. like do those kids deserve to grow up poor though? How is that fair to them? If you already have children and you fall into bad financial times that’s one thing, but knowing you’re poor and purposely bringing a baby into that..?
Facts my parents were poor and had 9 of us we didn't stand a chance. Worse knowing you're born because your mother can't just have 1 of anything she holds stuff animals and kids just can't have 1 it's crazy to see now I'm grown up now I'm against large families it's not healthy fir the kids to compete for attention
Barely in it, but at a certain point, could we not consider this child abuse? Farming your family and pimping your kids for views so transparently, openly acknowledging you can't afford a life for your children yet INSISTING for more. Those children are going to be so parentified. The mother may be a victim of abuse, but that is not an excuse to perpetuate the cycle.
I'm surprised he didn't mention the lice, constant fleas, moms drug use, moldy clothes, etc. These kids are not safe, and they are being abused. Neglect is abuse.
@@sleepy4685 because for some reason he’s trying to push a narrative like a big issue is ppl being classist 🤦🏾♀️. Ppl get being poor. Ppl don’t get being poor and having MORE children while begging others to provide for you. I don’t get why that’s hard to comprehend and how we got to talking about classicism
Man, not to dick ride, but I think it may be a defense for any classisim he's faced, or prompting a larger discussion on an issue related to what's happening (ie poor bashing). He may have very well seen videos where people are attacking the family pure on the fact they're poor. But I think it is poor reporting if there were issues like the lice and drug use that went unmentioned, but see why the classisim discussion was brought up. These parents are poor purely for aesthetic reasons, and because it's part of the 'brand'. They are poor by choice, criticism for their poverty is entirely different than another's impoverished family.
CPS would never ever consider their behavior “abuse” the kids have beds, NOW… they have food… a roof over their heads. CPS is trash. I was a foster parent for several years. They don’t care. The fastest they can close a case they will.
Recently saw this family on tiktok and immediately thought of many other families who take care of their children better in even smaller spaces. Parents make bedrooms for kids out of closets, and make rooms out of room dividers, etc. Its not about them being poor, its about how much they care about their kids.
i lived in a “studio” it had a bedroom with a door & there was another door that led to a small hallway that led to an unaccessible room, when it was just my son & i. i turned that hallway into his room, it fit his toddler bed & his toy boxes perfectly. i did what i had to do in order for us both to have the space we deserved. i didn’t think to have another baby & make that situation even more awkward than it was. my living situation back then was perfect for my family .. i always wanted a lot of kids close together but i knew that wasn’t fair to them. although im sad my son will be a lot older before he has siblings, im glad im smart enough to know having more children is not smart, even now, & especially back then
@sierragivenchy9526 I don't have anything to add, but you seem like a really good mom. My own mother moved mountains to make childhood happier on little money, too. I thank her everyday. I hope you and your son had a nice Halloween!
I live in a 500 sq foot apt with a family of five after some unfortunate thigs happened and I can NOT wait to move out. Love my family so much and I'll always be here for them but it makes me feel claustrophobic. I can not even imagine the amount of resentment these kids will feel when they're old enough to reflect on their situation, a one bedeoom apartment where the parents get privacy and 5 kids stuffed in a living room without beds. One call to CPS and the kids are saved, I hope
A good parent would also be concerned about their sleeping situation last. Their bedroom could easily hold 2 sets of bunk beds. Sure the boys and girls have to share, but at least they aren't on the floor in the livingroom open to anyone to come in a grab them without the adults knowing.
@@sierragivenchy9526you did all the right things that these people aren’t doing. you had a less than ideal situation, but you made the best of it to give your son a nice space of his own until you could find someplace better. i’m sure one day when hes old enough your son will appreciate everything you’ve done to give him a nice life!
@@Kaydee-haiku that's possible, but you also have tenants who lie. Maybe they told him they were a childless couple? I can certify it happens, unfortunately. For all we know, the landlord might not even have been aware of all this shit before social media (if they have it).
This angers me as someone who's mother bent backwards for 4 children, 2 not even her own, she slept in the living room while me and my siblings had to share the 2 rooms we had. We made it work. She took in those 2 girls knowing she could give them a better life than they had. It breaks my heart for those kids. All kids deserve parents. I love my mom. Seriously❤️
The Glass Castle is a great memoir about growing up in extreme poverty and the resentment these children gain as they get older and realize their situation is dire. Being financially responsible before having children is soooo important
As someone who dated a narcissist, the dad is showing full blown narcissistic traits. Delusions of grandeur, flitting from one unsustainable ‘career’ to the next
The mom is no different. The way she talks about wanting a breakthrough so she can be a mom vlogger, thinking one day her children will thank her and live in fame and make their own channels. They're both insane and enables each other.
@@lamccurdy2100I think you may have commented under the wrong thing, but I don’t think he necessarily meant people who are poor shouldn’t have pets. I think he may not have articulated himself correctly and instead meant you shouldn’t be bringing in pets to a situation where you already can’t afford to take care of the kids you do have.
This is not hate, but shelters do not need more cats. Shelters are notoriously underfunded, potentially abusive, and can lead to euthanasia in cats that don’t deserve it. Those cats need to be rehomed by people who are willing and able to take them immediately to get them medical help. They should absolutely be asking around on their big platform for a new loving home for the cats.
Definitely need to be taken in by fosters or a rescue. Cats are so sensitive and are really bad about showing how they feel. Those cats are probably so miserable
I completely agree. I don't trust shelters. However I do trust animal rescue groups that rescue the animals, find foster families for the animals then rehome the animals. They also do extensive background checks to make sure the animals will be provided for. Some shelters just put animals to sleep for no damn reason
And im pretty sure this exposure isn’t good for them at school. They were already getting bullied for their clothes and appearance. Now their whole living situation is being blasted on the internet, yk how many parents, kids, overall adults are seeing these videos? It just saddens me
10:27 y’all….YALLL!?!? If this lady don’t go to the dollar tree and or family dollar and get a pack of spoons for 2.76 with the additional tax It’s not that deep miss ma’am
Got one even better for you- go to the thrift store, they have bagged utensils- random assortment of forks and spoons of various styles- TEN PER BAG is the minimum amount…. Starting at the price point of a whole dollar. I’m a single mom of one teenager- BET that’s how we get all cookware and utensils. This family is trying to get rich off of being poor. And their kids are paying for it. No pun intended.
I also think the space being small isn't the biggest isssue but how they keep it, its sooo messy and cluttered, like I understand children make messses but there is literally no order in their apartment. Like others have pointed out, you could get some cheap bunkbeds and cheap dressers, to at least make the small space not soo chaotic and cluttered. People donate furniture or give it away for free, its not a question of prize, its a question of making the effort to give your kids proper furniture and a clean space.
Utilitarian, solid furniture is such a game changer! You can get so much for low cost, too. Lately, even 2nd hand things have been more expensive but...he has a ps5! Priorities, fella!!
She definitely has internet brain rot "they're going to grow up and create channels and be like im going to prank my mum" That's a very bizarre, juvenile thing for an adult to say. I haven't gotten further into the video yet, but I had to pause to comment that. Anyway, I hope their financial system improves and they can at least learn to censor their children's faces if they're going to insist on keeping them in the videos. Also, big up to the mum of the first child, she's doing great and as a nail tech, the first thing I noticed was her nails, so when you said she does nails, I was impressed. I don't have Tictok, but whoever does go support her nail channel. Thank you for talking about this sensitive topic in nuanced way and not being elitist about it. As someone who grew up poor, my mum went above and beyond, so much so I never knew we were poor as we lived in a poverty stricken area and there were kids with nothing, I always felt extremely loved and blessed
The prank channel thing is so delusional. When those kids grow up, I HIGHLY doubt they will even want to be on the internet and, as you said, extremely juvenile to think in the first place. It's not about her kids. It's about how she's gonna blow up on the internet.
58:52 I’m sorry but like there is some truth to what that women was saying. If it was a dark skin woman CPS would have been called right away. I also think saying that bc the dad is black it can’t be a race thing, when race is always an intersectional experience. Black women and men are definitely not treated the same especially in the US.
People have been calling cps for ages now - they've literally had to make a public statement for people to stop because they can't do anything - the landlord is aware of the situation and they technically aren't breaking any laws
@@Dankyjabo lol you don’t know much about the US. The state of the home itself is breaking the law. The landlord isn’t the ultimate authority on if the home is inhabitable. Cat piss on the carpet and ticks is definitely an inhabitable home. You brought up child neglect, which is against the law and a charge they could receive so idk what you’re talking about saying “technically”. Also, it seems you purposely ignored what OP said. She didn’t say ppl don’t call CPS all the time. She said it’s a disproportionate amount of calls on Black women compared to white. BOTH things can exist together. She brought up a valid point about that plus the difference in treatment of bw compared to bm and you chose to invalidate it for whatever reason smfh. You come off like you have an issue with being critiqued. It seems you haven’t done all your research either. I get everyone can’t be perfect. You made comments about folks not doing research though so it’s only fitting to call out the hypocrisy
@@Januaryjenkins Exactly. I'm Greek, born and raised, never been anywhere outside of Europe, and still can tell that, seeing as this is America we're talking about, race is a very significant factor to how this case and similar cases are being perceived and handled. The internet is US-centric, as such many people from all around the globe get to know what the US is up to. CPS in America having racial biases regarding which families to seperate and which to keep together is an issue that the whole world is able to be informed about. Calling the fact that an American black woman pointed out that race is absolutely a factor in this situation "gross" is dismissive and rubs me the wrong way, ESPECIALLY after lambasting everyone for "not doing research". (Plus, I agree, the law is the law, the landlords etc. are not law. People will disregard a lot of things to keep the peace and gain money.)
Poverty and neglect are nowhere near the same thing. This isn't seeded in poverty. This is total neglect. The guy doesn't work. He doesn't want to work because he doesn't want to pay child support. They could put the kids in the bedroom and get a pull out couch. These are conscious decisions. They were called out by most people and didn't change much. These particular people seem to be truly terrible people. I hope not. I hope things get better for them, but it feels like they're terrible.
This is basically just a non-mobile version of those bus/trailer family influencers and all of them should be banned. This family even plays most of the greatest hits! Kids sleeping on the kitchen floor, parents on a king size bed in the only bedroom and having more babies specifically for the algorithm have all been seen in other family channels in the recent past and it's gross every time.
WHYYYYY can people like this have babies so easily? Then you have decent, well to do couples that could provide a happy, loving home that struggle beyond belief to have just one. It always seems like such a cruel joke the universe (or god if that's your thing) is playing on mankind. Also, I truly wish there was some way to ban family channels. Almost every single one I have ever come across is just the parents using their children for content. It's so gross and sad.
omg ikr? I’ve seen/heard of LOADS of couples that would be the best parents struggle for a child (wether that be fertility issues or difficulties with adoption)
You said everything I wanted to say, but more UA-camr friendly. When will people stop having kids they can’t afford? Stop begging on TikTok, get a proper job and give your kids the best life you can…..and STOP unnecessarily overpopulating and overburdening the welfare system

I just want to be real about racism in the US; Black people are genuinely targeted more by CPS. Native American people get it even worse. I don't have any reason to think that race is the reason these people get away with this but it's not impossible. I am white but I live in the south and there is absolutely active racism in the CPS system. I would like to think that it's slowly getting better but without data at hand to back that up it feels like wishful thinking
I loved being pregnant and my kids are awesome. But I got fixed after I had 2 bc I do not come from money and my personal finances have often been iffy. @@Maggie-v5y Nothing too weird about. The hormonal changes can be positive and if you live in place with maternity leave/have good support system, it's one of few times adult women get to relax a bit and not worry about their livelihood.
As someone who grew up as an only child in a working class household - even one more sibling would have plunged us into poverty. My mom in particular wanted more kids, but she knew it wouldn’t be the best decision for our family. I couldn’t be more grateful to my parents if I tried - they gave me a beautiful, secure childhood that I remember as nothing but warm and safe. DECIDING to have more children should enrich a family, not strain it. (Of course, I understand accidents happen - this is about the DECISION to purposefully have more.)
Same I’m an only child to my mom but my dad has 6 other kids that lived with him and my stepmom. They were like these people, having a kid every year until they couldn’t anymore, and all my siblings were piled into one room on one bed and even as a child I recognized the neglect they suffered but as an adult I can also acknowledge that my dad and stepmom might have had a breeding kink and my mom dodged a bullet. Thank god social media wasn’t super big growing up cause they definitely would’ve became a “tik tok” family.
I cannot stand people who treat kids as a commodity or an accessory. This woman and her husband fucking disgust me, and they’re actively and consciously dooming those kids. That child on the way was doomed upon conception. This is vile and god I hope the best for those kids, they deserve so much better than this.
58:30 Hart family were two women who adopted multiple ethnic children and was only given community service after proven child abuse. They ran the children off a cliff years later, all fatal. It’s very true in America that most foster children are colored, (removed from home) most affluent families are ignored by cps and most mixed families (white mother mixed children) are supported by churches and community before cps is called.Unfortunately it’s not far fetched but then again, cps has been lobbied to no longer remove children in general now. So sometimes Children end up neglected or passing away before anything happens :( but yes, internet can serve fair justice which is some sort of redemption
yeah thank you, i didn’t like the dismissal that these cases are not racially affected. it’s important not to disregard intersectionality. that story was really heartbreaking
@@Kaydee-haikuit’s because the very country was built around and using race. That’s what happens when inslaved people build most of the infrastructure of a budding nation
I’m not going to speak to the poverty issue on why ppl have children or if poor ppl should be “allowed” to breed. I will say this: I would NEVER put my small kids online where predators can see them and use them in my content for disgusting purposes. That shit would keep me up at night. That’s what I don’t understand-these parents KNOW that is happening and it doesn’t seem to bother them!! Horrifying. Edit: I live in Portland. EVERYONE is hiring
I think there’s a big difference between poor people having a child or children and doing their best and having child after child whilst already struggling and not doing ANYTHING to better your kids situation. Not even sacrificing your bed for them.
This man doesn't want to pay child support, because he's a deadbeat. I'm sorry for his first son who will never have a good father in his life and isn't allowed to get to know his siblings because his mother, rightfully so, wants to protect him from his sperm donor and his stepmother. I'm sorry for the six children who are not allowed to get a real bed and a room so daddy can play on his PS5 and have a good night on a good bed with mommy. While all the children sleep on the floor. While no one of the children is allowed to touch the PS5. I'm a gamer. If I was a mother, I would not forbid my children to touch the gaming devices, as long as they are careful with it. Of course they would be allowed to play video games and would get games adapted to their age. That's what parents do. Children first. Plus, sleeping on the floor can be damaging for their growing bones, especially the spine. And you can't tell me they get good sleep. When you know having good sleep is super important for children's developing brains, it's horrifying.
No ones judging them bcus they’re poor, we’re judging them bcus of all the other reasons u listed and clearly all the entitlement, with just as many excuses for not improving the situation for those kids. One being giving those babies the bedroom and the bed to sleep on instead of the living room floor. But oh no, they’d rather keep those things for themselves.
We're doing well now but once upon a time, my family of four was unhoused entirely. Weve lived very small. But the kids got the best available. So at times they got the bed and we took the floor. The kids got the meat and veggies, we ate ramen and pretended to love having it multiple times a day. When you have next to nothing, it all goes to the most important members of the family and thats the kids.
You absolutely shouldn’t be having more children if the govt is taking care of them. With an entire able bodied man in the home. Idc that’s not classism
7:44 ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! When we had our daughter, we lived in a 1br apartment. She was in a basinet next to us until she was old enough to need a crib. She got the bedroom, and BOTH of us slept on the couch. For a year and a half. Could we have fit a smaller bed and a crib in the room? Maybe, but having a newborn meant no extra money for that. We did what was best for our baby until we had room for all of us.
As someone who's father also played hopscotch with "w-2 jobs" to evade child support, I not only applaud the first child's mother, but also you for holding the deadbeat Jenkins accountable. So many people disgustingly make excuses for men to not take care of their kids, so it's really refreshing hearing so much common sense from a young man on this topic. New subscriber 😊
Yeah, this woman ain't taking shit from anyone! She's a real queen and her son is lucky to have such a mother. I think she will do anything in her power to raise a decent man. "You see your father, honey? Be the opposite of who he is, and you should be fine"
51:29 this game is also a one player game, its called "Little Nighmares 2". I've played it a million times over and not once has it been possible to play with other people (unless your passing the controller back and forth like I did with my dad and older brother but thats besides the point). It was stupid to even give the kids controllers because even if you didn't realize the controllers were off (somehow) than other people who have played Little Nightmares 2 could have figured it out instantly
No way he straight up just said the sons name when the mom made is so crystal clear that she wanted him OFF the internet. Thats unforgivable at that point
Tiny pushback about the jobs he listed - a lot of jobs in the retail realm require you to be on your feet all day, moving heavy boxes of stock, crouching down and stretching up thousands of times with armfuls of heavy products to restock shelves, very long shifts that you’re pressured to extend when they’re short staffed and you can’t afford to turn down overtime pay, as well as late night shifts that completely throw off your body through messing with your sleep cycles and depriving you of sleep if you’re taking care of children throughout the day. Particularly at Home Depot I wouldn’t be surprised if he was lugging around a ton of heavy shit throughout the day, they tend to hire women for the less taxing stuff and men for the parts involving more labor. It’s really not uncommon for people in that field to be injured on the job, develop chronic back/knee/neck/joint pain, and generally be fucking exhausted all the time. Not to defend this terrible guy or anything, just throwing some validation to all the great people in the industry who are mistreated and genuinely busting their ass every day for minimum wage. When I worked retail, some nights I’d have trouble falling asleep because my feet were aching so bad after a long shift, so I see y’all.
I'm pretty sure a person who experienced that would not be trying to start a "rim cleaning" business like he claims he's trying to do unless he's not talking about the rims on a car, but I'm pretty sure he is.
I definitely have to disagree with you on the race conversation. People are in general more critical of black women when it comes to how they keep their children. Black mothers with white children are reported just for HAVING those children, the fact that they are literally neglecting their children and still have custody of those children can absolutely have something to do with the white mom. Especially because in our culture black men with white women are treated better than other black men and definitely other black women. Maybe it's a cultural difference as you're not American, but race plays a huge factor in everything and I think deeper look could help with this analysis.
Especially when thinking about the "getting away with it" aspect. Although they aren't rich (yet), they are literally getting away with publicly keeping their children in unfit conditions. There are instances not as horrid as this one where children are separated from their parents. They are getting away with a literal crime.
My mom was disabled, a single mother of 2 girls, and worked! She had jobs, homeschooled us, and ran a ministry helping people in the same or worse poverty situations than us. We lived in a one bedroom studio hotel room. We were legally homeless because we lived in a hotel for 9 years (since I was 12). It was only supposed for two weeks but my dad that was on drugs at the time (he later got clean and stayed clean) abandoned us. My mother made that hotel room a home and a place of hope for other homeless families and people. Oh and we all had BEDS! We had older but still fun video games and a computer. We had a kitchen with no oven but a stove and a toaster oven. My mom made amazing meals and gave my sister and I education and life skills as well as taught us about Jesus and caring for others. I had my own room for the first time at 22 because someone saw my mom’s ministry and hard work and gave her a house fit for her handicap and her two girls. She continued to do ministry until I got sick and she had to care for me for 3 years. She did a last bit of online volunteering and passed away on HER HOUSE. We lived a beautiful that mom’s hardwork and God made possible ❤
I come from a family of 7. Finances aside, I really do feel like five children is the very upper limit of what a two-parent household can support without neglecting or offloading emotional, physical and time resources. I love my family, and while my parents weren't the best who have ever parented, they tried their best - but even then, it was impossible for them to give all of us the attention we needed. We were on a tight budget and had three rooms between the 7 of us, but I don't feel like I suffered much from that - what really mattered was the fact that while I was a teenager in the depths of mental illness, seriously hurting myself and on the verge of doing *that thing*, they also had a child learning to walk, a child starting nursery, a child in and out of hospital, and a child struggling with behaviour in school, so my issues went completely unnoticed. I'm sure my siblings also had issues that were overlooked, simply because there's only so much two people can do. As much as I believe in every person's right to a family, I truly believe that having more children than you know you can handle is cruel, especially with the added layers of content and social media.
Also family of almost 7 and they all live in such a small place. Not only do they abuse their kids but they breed in the same place where their kids are 24/7 ew. Imagine being their kids hearing or seeing your parents create more siblings yuck
Thank you at the end for pointing out how parents shouldn’t be praised for doing THE BARE MINIMUM. People in general shouldn’t be praised for just doing what they are supposed to do. They aren’t special for doing it!!
Was missing your content, got covid recently, so you dropping this is perfect for me. Now I have something to watch while I suffer lol thank you Dankyjabo

It’s really sad that her kids have to struggle because of her and her husband’s poor decisions. If you know you can’t house or even bring up a family due to financial hardships then choose to not have kids, you still have time to have kids, but money is what will help support your lifestyle. Imagine what this situation would be like if the mom was more financially stable, it’d be completely different.
You hit a lot of good points here, but race does have to do with this issue and why CPS (Child Protective Services) haven't already been involved yet. In the US CPS is often used against Black, Hispanic, and Indigenous (especially Indigenous) parents way more often than it is against White parents. And Portland is in Oregon, a state that literally had laws that Black people couldn't live there. The father doesn't want to work because he doesn't want to pay child support for the child who is 12 w/ Arlita. He basically quits a job when the court catches up to him and garnishes his wages. And yes the family is breaking the law (a law I hate but in most states you can not have more than 2 people per bedroom-- and they're way over that). There are also housing vouchers if you are low income, yes they are tricky to get and there is a waitlist but depending on the area you live in if you have children you can get placed. And from what I've seen of the mother of this family she's not great at picking partners... like the man she is still legally married to you mentioned was a sex offender before they got together and had children (he'd sexually assaulted his mother and was accused of assaulting a child too). Like being abused by him I won't criticize her for but getting with a sex offender I will. I had a situation over the summer where I had to get CPS involved. It was with a woman who was living in a garage with her three kids, husband, and dog. I've known the woman for years and prior to finding out she was living in a garage I had issues with her as a mother because she is one of those women who prioritize men over her children, and gets pregnant as soon as she can with a guy because she thinks he won't leave her. I had been thinking for years that she was a neglectful mother because she doesn't take her kids to the doctor, doesn't read to them, didn't have then enrolled in school like they should have been etc. but didn't want to get CPS involved because I didn't know if it was just a poverty thing. Turns out it wasn't just the things I considered to be neglectful that were occurring because once CPS and the police were involved turns out she had been physically abusing the three kids for at least a year and have videos on her phone of the children being restrained, hit, and shocked with a SHOCK COLLAR (something I wouldn't even put on a dog). When this situation went to court the defense said that the videos were taken by her to show it was the husband abusing the kids, but the metadata and defense proved it was her doing it while the husband was at work. ' I ended up with her dog for about a month, and that dog had to have been abused too because she was terrified of everything. Like if I moved too quickly, she would pee on the floor she was afraid to eat, etc. eventually I got her to be able to run around with the dogs I already had, and I was able to get her into a good place to be for her (the dog was a working breed and one that needs lot of physical activity that I can't provide and frankly I couldn't afford a third dog on top of my cat). Luckily, one of my sister's has a friend who is a farmer and could use another cattle dog.
Thank you for saving those children and the dog. Anyone willing to abuse a child absolutely will abuse a dog so you're right, the dog was probably abused. The same for someone willing to abuse a dog, will abuse a child. Every single animal abuser I've encountered also abused their kids.
The parts of the whole situation were... 1. The evidence of moldy clothes. 2. The evidence of flea and lice problems. 3. The mom bragging about being a bad person. Those kids need clean clothes, the flea and lice problem resolved, and for mom to have a come to jesus moment about that bad attention and documentation of her bsd behavior being an ever growing pile of evidence for CPS or her kids not wanting to see her again once they move out.
@BooksandLooksTV I should have been more specific. Children can still share bedrooms but they MUST have a room separate from their parents. I don't mean that each child needs their own bedroom to themselves.
It was the lice on her TikTok that got to me. Showing flea bites and complaining about lice. Both easily treated with little money but they require doing the work.
damn i remember as a kid being embarassed to have friends over after visiting some of my friends houses and seeing how much more they all had. none of them ever pointed it out but i was well aware. I mean these kids cant even have a friend over for a sleepover
When I was a kid and we were pish poor, all of our cutlery came from motorway service stations. Not having enough cutlery for your children is a choice. And yes, I am advocating for stealing spoons from multi-million pound businesses. They’re spoons.
I’m so sick of these kinds of people if you love children so much just adopt them. So tired of seeing men like this father everywhere. So gross. I’m a gen Z adoptee n I’m so glad my adoptive parents are painfully introverted boomers😂
I'm not sure adoption agencies would allow someone to adopt if they were financially struggling like that. There's a long list of criteria that you need to fit in order to foster or adopt that they might not meet.
@@mac2040yeah it’s more of a sentiment rather than a literal statement. Like what I mean is there is more they can do w their financial situation etc rather than just whining about it
People freaked out when I brought up these types of situations when people were calling the rich families who chose to live in RVs "abusive." I said if they're abusive then poor people choosing to do the same thing are also abusive. People FREAKED out.
Using children for content is exploitative regardless of intent. They cannot give informed consent, and there is a grim lack of legislation in place to protect them. As of right now, I believe the only state with any kind of legislation is California. I block family vlog channels, children are not content. If we could get more people to understand that, it would stop.
Most of the things that they don't have enough of would be available for free if they would pick up free local listings or go to the local food pantry and resources for people without enough money for household and child basics. There is literally no reason they wouldn't be able to find used housewares for free...in good condition and clean. Silverware is freaking cheap. She's either lying about the amount of silverware they have, or just too stupid to find a way to get more literally for free.
they could make a post on a local facebook group and people would be so incredibly generous, but i guess even that would be too much effort for these “parents”
Also, a 2 pack of forks or spoons is $1 at walmart... So i totally get a lot of things you might not be able to afford but the fork and spoon situation is definitely either them choosing this for content or just a lie for content. I'd lean towards it being a lie.
I grew up in conditions where we were constantly moving houses, not being able to afford groceries 24/7, and it gave me lots of problems. Despite having my own room now and a somewhat stable income, I have issues with personal space, hoarding issues, among other things. And in terms of rooms, there was a point where I shared a bedroom with my brother and sister, and my mother slept in the living room. None of this was her fault as my father left her with nothing, and I don’t blame her, but she’s always talking about how she wish she never had kids so we wouldn’t have to go through that. THAT is a mom who genuinely feels guilty about our conditions growing up
41:19 retail is jumpscare horror and food service is psychological horror. I went to working in manufacturing working 70-80 hours a week for a decade and did literally work myself to the bone, Ive got a chronic pain disorder now, osteoarthritis all through my body and a few other things.
Just to clarify because the video makes it a little confusing, the father has 2 additional baby mothers. The woman @24:54 is NOT the woman implied to have been drinking during pregnancy that is someone else.
Not every situation is the same but I literally live in the deep south. The Carolinas to be more specific. I got a whole kitchen set of dishes from the thrift store for like $10, and a whole set of silver ware from my mama's old collection. I'm talking plates, tea cups, tea saucers-- sorry but unless they are both unemployed/"self employed" I genuinely don't think there's a good excuse to have just seven forks between your *entire family.* Edit: We got a saying down here for dudes like Jenkins: "he might be a father, but he ain't no daddy."
There’s nothing wrong with having children and being in poverty, the problem is the fact the man in this relationship doesn’t even pay the child support for his other children and the woman in this relationship makes excuses about why she and her husband can’t Work. come to find out he’s not even her actual husband. Her actual husband is a child and mother r-ist.
I'm just gonna keep reporting their accounts. This is child neglect and exploitation and it is disgusting to watch. Thank you for putting this video together
They are willing to bring more and more and more children into a horrible life. I have 1 child. I’m married and live with my parents. I am so incredibly sad that I cannot provide my 8 MONTH old child his own space and room. My husband has moved out of state to take a way better paying job (a 10$ raise) and I’m staying in state cuz I start my new and better job in 2 weeks. In the meantime I’m a waitress. I can’t even comprehend willing to let your 4 almost 5 children live in the living room and have more kids without being able to provide for them. My son was an accident and theirs are on purpose…..
I showed my own father this family channel. For context my dad was a single dad of six kids for a lot of years. He gave up his business, his social life, and his body to work 3 jobs to take care of us. I’ve never seen this man as pissed off as this made him. We never slept on the floor, never didn’t have food, had clothes and everything we needed because he was an amazing man.
Im pregnant with my first right now and while im privileged to have the space and resources to give my baby a more well off childhood than what i had, what ill say is i'd eat glass before i let my baby sleep on the FLOOR, i will build a bed from scratch idc my child will never have to lay their head on the floor while im comfy in my bed playing on my PS5
You can buy a queen size futon for literally $100-200. There is absolutely no excuse for making children sleep on the floor regularly. I understand maybe at an overbooked hotel in an emergency (I once slept with a shower curtain as a blanket.) But at home, and in the kitchen!? Absolutely horrific.
Pet parent here. I will and have gone without to ensure my pets are cared for because that's my responsibility. I accepted that when I rescued them, they are completely dependent on me providing for them. I couldn't imagine not prioritising my children, that I grew and birthed, over my comfort. You're the adult, you can go without luxuries to provide a safe environment.
I hope to God that one day there will be laws against using your children to get fame and money online. This (and any other account that uses there kids for fame and money) is more or less child labour and it is literal child exploitation but when does anything actually get done? It's sick.
The more I listed to him the more I think he was referring to the second child’s mother feeling that way. Not the lady who was speaking. But I had the same initial thought.
The problem with a ps5 is that a ps5 is like 400-500 dollars even used. Unless he knew someone that wasn't using it at all and basically gave it away. Like I bought my ps4 for 150, and that was at a used game store. And I bought the ps4 because I couldn't afford a ps5 and I'm a single male with a gaming pc. What I'm trying to say is. He could have easily downgrade and got the children beds or saved up for something they actually needed. Wtf is wrong with those people
I grew up in a family of 7 in a 3 bedroom house, with 2 bathrooms and a basement. We NEVER had enough room. It was genuine torture having to share a room with children when I was in high school and college. I eventually made it out and made some extra room for my siblings, but I could have never survived in that situation in a 1 bedroom apartment. The toll having that many children in a small area had on all of our mental health was extreme. My heart goes out to these children and I hope they are able to develop support systems outside of their ever-shrinking home.
I think what makes me so angry is the fact that they decided to get TWO CATS if they can’t afford their kids. I didn’t grow up poor, so I may be a lil tone deaf, but kids can be an accident and usually pets are not.
The amount of predators online looking for kids…… she wants to set her kids up for “success” with a failing UA-cam channel. Your children are inheriting your debt
As someone who grew up poot and with a family of 9, my mom had 4 kids with someone else/my other dad, I think? And then had me, my older sister, and younger sister. I think of my other siblings as my full blood related, but I know my mom and dad made sure we had a nice and decent life, yeah we'd go about a few days without eating but we knew my mom and dad were struggling, so we'd make whatever we can make. My mom and dad made sure my siblings and I had our own beds, even if we had to share our beds, clothes, and food in our stomachs, ect.
Wild that she's banking her kids' future on being Tiktok famous when it's not a sure thing how long these platforms will even EXIST let alone be stable sources of income.
I’ve watched your for a long time but it was music channels for sewing etc. started down the rabbit hole. Im shocked at people just trying to go for the dollars. From what I’ve seen they come and go. Not a dependable career. Your choices are out there forever. Kids won’t be thrilled when they get older and watch this stuff.
My biological mother and her ex husband were not very good parents in many ways. We were pretty poor at times, drug addicts, alcoholic, anger issues, and so much bad shit. But when we didn’t have enough rooms they would take the living room, we even had two rooms (they have a lot of kids LMAO) and they still let me have my OWN ROOM at ten years old since i was the oldest and had my siblings take the other room. After seeing this video it made me realize how much that really meant, thanks mom (not your ex husband though he sucked xoxo)
“To the bone” at Home Depot, retail & pumping gas… plssss stfu I work in a warehouse BUILDING PARTS FOR POWERLINES sometimes working 12 hrs 7 days a week depending on how many orders we have (especially when there’s hurricanes) THEN going home to another job bc I have a son, work never ends for me until he’s asleep then gotta wake up at the ass crack of dawn to get him to school take about a hour nap and go back in to work & she talm bout “he was working to the bone” girl pls🤣 he only working to the epidermis folks like this piss me offffff and I have a 2 bed 1 bath for me and him, ON MY OWN when they have TWO grown adults I just don’t get it😭
I used to have an excellent career that was well paid.
That's what I miss, community. There's so much separation, judgement, and a lack of accountability in America
I agree that you’re a parent forever not just until the kid turns 18, I’m eighteen and have finished school but I still rely on my parents substantially due to my disability and mental health problems, im as reliant on my parents as I was when I was 14
Omg pfp twin ❤❤
That’s why I absolutely despise how much of becoming a parent focuses on babies and the baby years, like you’re NOT just having a BABY, you’re having a whole PERSON that will grow up and be a teenager then an adult that has to navigate through life.
Can we talk about how dangerous it is to post where your children sleep???
THANK! YOU!
The fact that they have them sleeping near the front door is beyond dangerous.
I was poor growing up but even my parents made sure to keep my bed away from the doors just in case someone breaks in.

Came here to say the same thing. Her son has never been on their channel as he (the dad) doesn’t see him.
Thank you. I was so confused during that part.
Came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed that

This is like the third time I've seen a youtuber get this information wrong 😭 the mother *clearly* states that he's abadoned his child and owes child support (and at the very start says she's not going to reveal her childs identity). How would he be showing that child on the tiktok page if he's never even seen him 🤣

BUT ALL OF HER UA-cam DREEEAAAMS!!
I 100% agree with u on this. You should not be putting kids into the world if u can’t take care of them or put them in a better situation.
I saw someone the other day say “Poor people deserve to have kids”
And it just.. felt a bit off..
like do those kids deserve to grow up poor though?
The Jackson 5 father should be the case study for this.

Seriously❤️

Yeah wow, your solution to the cats was completely unnecessary but obviously you think poor people shouldn’t have pets.
Got carried away reading the comments and I hadn’t even gotten that far yet but I swear to god I can’t believe it gets worse
Definitely need to be taken in by fosters or a rescue. Cats are so sensitive and are really bad about showing how they feel. Those cats are probably so miserable
That sounds like wayyyyyy more effort to figure out than they've expended in the past 4 years combined lol
The have no kill shelters. It just takes a little research. The SPCA where I am is a no kill shelter.

Saying race is the only reason is an oversimplification of the situation realistically. But I agree it could play a part.
Poverty and neglect are nowhere near the same thing. This isn't seeded in poverty. This is total neglect. The guy doesn't work. He doesn't want to work because he doesn't want to pay child support.
The whole having more kids when you cant afford it, hits so close to home and never understood why anyone thought that was a good idea

@ Agreed, wholeheartedly
That is because you are a responsible parent.

They aren’t special for doing it!!
you are one of my favorite commentary UA-camrs. seriously. you do such a good job!! much love

I ended up with her dog for about a month, and that dog had to have been abused too because she was terrified of everything.
In my country its not even legal for a child over the age of like 4 or 5 to not have their own bedroom. This is insane.
Which country?
@BooksandLooksTV Canada. This law could be province specific, I'm not sure. In my province it is law.
I like how the longer I follow Danky, the more angry his content gets. It's very entertaining to me.
Ehhh more nuance than that but I partially agree and know what you mean
@@arandomfrog9493I’m aware bc I am an adoptee but it’s more of the sentiment, like foster kids etc but these people would do it for a paycheck
With child taxes in America they should at least have furniture.
I love ur content, u go into a lot of detail that's easy for me to understand and follow along with. Congrats on 100k :)
i feel like your hair gets better evey video, KEEP UP THE GRIND KING
I think they could also thrift things, like furniture.
I'm going to go with a 3rd option..... she's just too lazy and doesn't care unless as long as she has what she and her latest man want.
they could make a post on a local facebook group and people would be so incredibly generous, but i guess even that would be too much effort for these “parents”
Also, a 2 pack of forks or spoons is $1 at walmart... So i totally get a lot of things you might not be able to afford but the fork and spoon situation is definitely either them choosing this for content or just a lie for content. I'd lean towards it being a lie.
My father is incarcerated and he is a better father than this so called “dad” he can’t even see me in person but he tries his best.
THAT is a mom who genuinely feels guilty about our conditions growing up
congratulations on 100k! you’ve received 50k+ subscribers in a month:3!
41:19 retail is jumpscare horror and food service is psychological horror. I went to working in manufacturing working 70-80 hours a week for a decade and did literally work myself to the bone, Ive got a chronic pain disorder now, osteoarthritis all through my body and a few other things.
as an FYI: Some jurisdictions consider it abuse for a male/female siblings to share a same bed or a same room after a certain age.
Just to clarify because the video makes it a little confusing, the father has 2 additional baby mothers. The woman @24:54 is NOT the woman implied to have been drinking during pregnancy that is someone else.
I usually don't suggest this, but holy shit, why is CPS not involved
ok should've played the whole video first lol
Not every situation is the same but I literally live in the deep south. The Carolinas to be more specific. I got a whole kitchen set of dishes from the thrift store for like $10, and a whole set of silver ware from my mama's old collection. I'm talking plates, tea cups, tea saucers-- sorry but unless they are both unemployed/"self employed" I genuinely don't think there's a good excuse to have just seven forks between your *entire family.*
Edit: We got a saying down here for dudes like Jenkins: "he might be a father, but he ain't no daddy."
You did a great job pointing out their flaws without making it classist
You can buy a queen size futon for literally $100-200. There is absolutely no excuse for making children sleep on the floor regularly.
I understand maybe at an overbooked hotel in an emergency (I once slept with a shower curtain as a blanket.)
But at home, and in the kitchen!? Absolutely horrific.
Pet parent here. I will and have gone without to ensure my pets are cared for because that's my responsibility. I accepted that when I rescued them, they are completely dependent on me providing for them. I couldn't imagine not prioritising my children, that I grew and birthed, over my comfort. You're the adult, you can go without luxuries to provide a safe environment.

mine is the 15th! 🎉🎉
I hope to God that one day there will be laws against using your children to get fame and money online. This (and any other account that uses there kids for fame and money) is more or less child labour and it is literal child exploitation but when does anything actually get done? It's sick.
21:24 just so you know, the kid with him is first baby mama's oldest son's brother, not her son. Great video so far!
Maybe I misunderstood what you said, I'm not sure. Just adding it to make sure lol
HAPPY 100K DUDE!! , I'm so glad you're getting more recognition absolutely love your content💗
Oh, you’re a new UA-camr I haven’t met before! I love your format and the way you actually look over all the pieces of a story!
That’s such a sweet thing to say- “I haven’t met before!” Omg 💕
I grew up poor and my mom always made sure we had beds and got the bedrooms. She would sleep in the living room.
You need a better hobby
@@CBrown86huh? why you being weird.
@@CBrown86 what did I do?
