    Tape a small piece of foam over the mic on your cameras…will help with the wind noise.

    I'm a little North of you up here near the Big Bend area. Sounds very much like your area and it can be difficult to locate them at times. Especially since the flats here are huge and they have unlimited places to go

    Great video! This has definitely helped me out. I’ve been using a lot of these clues over the last few months and it’s helped. The one thing that still confuses me is where to fish on what part of the tides. Deeper or shallower depending on high or low or incoming or outgoing?

    • @Snookchaser007
      @Snookchaser007 Рік тому +2

      Areas that are exposed at low tide such as rocky flats and oyster bars can be exceptional redfish feeding about 1 to 2 hours into the incoming or flood tide.
      Outgoing tides look for ambush areas like creek/canal mouths, points of islands with undercut mangroves or rapid depth changes from a flat dumping over deeper water typically at least a 2’ depth change.
      These are just some basic patterns there are many more it all comes with time on the water.

    As a weekender, I appreciate this information. Our time is limited to 2-3 fishing days per month, so it is really discouraging when those outings end up empty. So much to learn!

    One thing I’ve noticed fishing around Homosassa and Crystal River is all the dolphins! I find the reds and snook and here comes the dolphin!

    Amazing video it's a master class of how you can find a good fishing spot. But I HAVE A QUESTION.
    how you select the where to go for example when is good day to go to flamingo or everglade or a good day to go chokoloski What factors do you take into account when choosing the place thank you 👍👍

    Great video! I always love your videos...I got to make my way back up and spend some serious time up there...every time I go, I have a blast. I even went as far as to buy a shallow draft skiff and outfitted w/ a Simrad and got the FMT chip...due to the cautionary tails. Hopefully we can go out soon...it would be such a treat and great learning experience...well worth the $$$ I'm sure!

    If you're up in Panama City sometime maybe I'll catch you in west bay, might be one of those favorite fishing buddies to add to your list. I've heard your critiques and I think we would be well suited side kicks.
