👁 About this video : In today's video I check out the all new 2021 BMW M4 Competition! I love how the new 2021 BMW M4 competition has new styling and an aggressive look! The front bumper has the vertical kidney grilles and the horizontal slats have a great design that allow plenty of air flow to get to the engine! The addition of the lines and contours in the hood definitely blend well with the grill as well and the whole front has a great look and shape! I love how driver focused the M4 feels and it's very solid both in it's handling and daily driving! The power delivery is super smooth as well if you want it to be! With the multiple adjustments you can make, it can go from a smooth and comfortable daily, to a "raw" feeling sportscar for the back roads! The shifts are quick and it's cool you can adjust those too! The exhaust note is great, not too loud and yet not too quiet unless in normal mode. This is a great daily driver because it's practical for a two door coupe. There is room for backseat passengers and with the ability to fold them down, allows for even more storage space! The interior of the 2021 M4 was very nice with the leather on many parts along with brushed aluminum. The 2021 M4 also had the carbon fiber roof and staggered wheels to give it extra styling! The 2021 BMW M4 is also very wide looking with the big fenders and overall it's an awesome car!

The front looks a little better dark because you can’t see it.
lol, I think it's a cool design! When you add the hood lines and the side skirts it really helps flow with the design of the grill. I don't like how it looks on the non M cars because they are too plain around the rest of the car.

The m4 looks better and better every time I see it, can’t wait to see one in person.
Personally I think it looks best in black and with the carbon pack for those carbon fibre inlets in front bumper and carbon fibre rear diffuser.
And definitely manual. The auto is too soft, and underwhelming in this car.

Another excellent review buddy!! The M4 Competition is one awesome car!! It looks so mean and aggressive plus it is so cool that you can configure all the driving modes! Interior is gorgeous too, especially the seats. The new BMW M4 is being officially released in UK with us tomorrow. We only get the competition model and no manual option.

Is it me or would this grille look pretty good if it had more of a three dimensional look to it, similar to the 5 series. I think becuase it just ends abruptly like that, it looks odd and out of place. I think a mesh style grill like the air intakes would have made the front end look a little more cohesive. I wonder if the LCI will massage the front end a little more to make it look a little better. I really want to buy this car becuase of the rear end and the manual transmission, but I am terrified that I will end up not liking the grille after a while.
I could the grill being shortened just slightly, but overall it's a good upgrade especially on the M cars! I wonder if there will be aftermarket grills available that will change the front end once again, so maybe there is that potential if you end up buying it!
The UK and Ireland can only get the M4 Competition. In other European countries, you can also get the non-Competition.
Wow this is a pretty cool car. Almost grabs me but I still like the M8 competition the most but this is a close second but for the 80k and good performance that’s all I can ask for.

It's very similar to the M8 just slightly smaller, so a little more sporty and nimble in the performance, but both are still great options!

GTR all day! Of course I'm biased. But the GTR is a true supercar. This is a great modern sportscar tho. But the T has that wow factor. And they have appreciated in value. This will take a but of a hit as usual

The new front end is still….. I can’t decide. I prefer our 2017 M4 Comp package for now … front end is easier on the eyes.

Hmmm. Honestly both cars are so different they aren't competitors. The M4 is a much more refined car with tech and is pretty quick. But the GTR has the supercar performance and is wayyy more at home on a track or performance setting. But is still pretty livable. I'd buy the GTR as my weekend car and the M4 as a daily

how is it inside after some hours under the sun!? too hot? I can't decide between BLACK or DRAVIT GRAY, not so different, but I think that they are the colours that better hide the detail of the two front grills at the bottom of the bumper, that I don't like with clear colours, but hidden with dark colours the bumper is nice
Honestly with modern cars, the exterior color doesnt effect how the interior can feel. The AC will keep it controlled perfect. @@BrosFOURRSpeed my concern was not driving the car with the AC system, I'm it will work fine. But consider in summer, 4-5hour parked under the sun in the hotter days. when you enter the car, how is it? the modern car and insulation will "cover" a bit this issue? because I know a clearer colour will affect less on the interiors temperature. but I'm talking about an old model, at least 10-15years. Thank you

Hmm, I never thought of that, but possibly. Most coupes will have some kind of similar side profile, just the nature of the design of a coupe I guess!

@@evobudbrink Anytime a manufacturer does something to be different or revamp a car, everyone always hates on it, then at some point they all love it. So it'll take some time for people to see them in person and on the roads and be like, that's cool!

Am I the only one that thinks the F80/F82 sound better exhaust wise?
I feel like the latest BMW models have had less of an exhaust note compared to previous model. I'm not sure why they are doing that, maybe it's a regulation thing, but the older models had more pops and a little more sound!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I can agree with that . The interior is much better too. The HP is around the same though. I love the Mustang and i love the M4 , I just have a hard time with the BMW having similar lines. if you look through out the history of the cars, they never shared that similarity before and now with the prices of cars going higher and higher, it's hard to justify , in my opinion. i expect more from BMW, we should expect more from BMW.
I tested this car today . Car pretty nice however I don't like the feel of the steering it felt numb. Also the feel not there. Handling was nice. Suspension was rigid aggressive in a good way transmission was nice. Exhaust was not tht good expecting this from m4 competition was disappointment also the fake exhaust noise. The feel wasn't there for me.. but overall good car
Yeah I can hear you on that. Steering isnt as sharp as other cars and the exhaust is pretty quiet compared to previous models. BMW really toned down the exhaust for all their cars in 2021. But modifications can always help with those complaints ;)
The M3 looks better, only color to buy is black, pass on the comp for the manual and also pass on the carbon fiber seats.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed $4500 option for carbon fiber seats... OUCH! Also, if you’re going to be taking long road trips I heard they’re not the best choice. If not and you don’t mind the price bump then go for it! My lease on my 2018 M550i was up in December so I leased an LC 500. I do however really like this new M3. I just restored a 1999 M3 convertible 2-years ago.
It was a huge miss on your part (For not mentioining) and BMW's part for having a ZF on this instead of a DCT. Mind you that the S55 has a the DCT. Obvoiusly manual would be best, but if you gotta to Auto at least go with a DCT especially if you've already beein running them through most of your M cars up until this one.

Yeah thats crazy they ditched the DCT for an automatic. Still a great transmission. But you'd think for the M car they go all out. I'd go for the manual tho anyways ;)
M cars have just been going downhill since the e46 M3. From the outside aesthetics to the inside to the raw fun factor. It's gone from a mean race car meant for real car fans to a luxury car meant for people who only want to look the part. I really want to like this car, but I just can't. BMW disappoints more and more each year
Honestly I would have the opposite perspective. Yes the older M cars were a bit more "raw" feeling depending on the model, but the new ones aside from not sounding quite as good, which can be fixed, who wouldn't want luxury and performance? You have all the bells and whistles to daily drive it, and still have the performance to hit the track or back roads.

Deffinately not a proper drivers car it looks ugly and sounds shit far prefer my Lotus Evora GT410 sport which sounds better looks better and seriously out handles this overweight car.
Looks and sounds are subjective so that has nothing to do with a proper drivers car. And the Lotus is much lighter so it will handle better, but the M4 can carry its weight pretty good.
I would rather own a Lexus RCF... the new front bumper of the BMW is ugly as hell...
