I don't know whether to be worried or sad because I identify with Lewis an empty life with nothing is much easier to live in my dreams and my imagination sometimes an alien sometimes a monster sometimes a survivor sometimes a demon sometimes a god sometimes an alien and sometimes a human sometimes a hero, sometimes a villain, sometimes an entity and sometimes an object, sometimes a living being and sometimes an undead
I've thought so many times that if maybe, maybe if I took my life I would be able to live in these dreams I could live in the these worlds... and I think Lewis is the same, I just thought that... but he? he didn't just think about it, he went and did it differently than me... he wasn't a coward like me... sometimes I wish I wasn't a coward and had the courage for also make it... and not just thing of doing it
At 10 years old, Molly dies after ingesting fluoridated toothpaste and holly berries. At 16, Barbara is murdered during a home invasion or implied domestic dispute. At 11,Calvin fell to his death after swinging off the edge of a cliff. At 49, Edie's husband, Sven, dies due to a construction accident at the house. At 53, after having spent 30 years living as a recluse in a bunker beneath the house and traumatized at witnessing Barbara's death, Walter is hit by a train after stepping outside for the first time since. Sam marries a woman named Kay and they have three kids. Dawn, Gus, and Gregory. Only Dawn reached to adulthood. At 22 months old, Gregory drowns in the bathtub after his mother not looking, or watching, after him. At 13, Gus is crushed by a totem pole in a storm. Sam and Kay soon get a divorce. Sam went hunting with his daughter Dawn, and falls to his death by being bucked by a dear. Traumatized, Dawn moves to India, she marries Sanjay and they then have three kids. Lewis, Milton, and Edith. In 2002, Sanjay dies due to an earthquake and Dawn goes back to the Finch house with her three kids. At 11, Milton randomly disappears and Dawn becomes paranoid. 2010, Lewis dies by unliving himself at 21. Now desperate, Dawn decides they must all leave the house. Edie however refuses to go and after a heated argueument between Edie and Dawn, she and Edith leave the Finch house. Edie is then found dead at 93 years old. Edith returns to the Finch house at 17 years old and writes down the history of her family into a book. The journal is made for her unborn child in case she should die before she is able to tell them the stories herself. In the end, the character is revealed to be Edith's son, Christopher, and shows that Edith sadly died at childbirth in 2017.

Didn't Sam and Kay get divorced after Gregory's death and before Gus'? Gus died at the wedding of Sam and their step mom

@@ava-b9yNo it isn't. It's an absolutely ridiculous word that doesn't explain at all that it was a suicide. Also, suicide is a great word as it is already.
I wanna cry, but my foundation was $35 and I don’t want to waste it but it’s so sad I could cry and I still know all the deaths by memory😭
I remember watching a playthrough of this game YEARS ago. All of the deaths are memorable but it’s always been Lewis’ death that stuck with me. This is seriously an incredible game and this playthrough has been really great 😊

😭😭I got lost in the part where Edith was showing the story about her past because I didn’t know who the story was about but after I seen it to the end… I just can’t believe how well thought out that game was 😭

Lewis storie, I felt like I relate. Not sure if I have maladaptive day dream. But I have day dreamed a lot expectually at work. But I remember when I would drive I would think about so much things that I would imagine myself in the scenario's and drift of to this story like thing and when I came to I didn't remember how I got from one place to another although I was goin on the right direction and haven't crashed. It's just weird how I kept telling myself how I got here it scared me. Any way I needed to focus especially that my child is in the car. It happened before but I had to get out of it, so I don't crash. U just never know.
I saw Edith pick up the book that said Edith Flinch on it. I then realised that the game is called What REMAINS of Edith Flinch. I then proceeded to cry because I knew what was coming.
Lewis is really sad, because his poor brain literally could not handle the fact that Milton just disappeared. No answers, no closure. That is truly what something like that can and will do to someone. Lewis could not survive in the real world so his brain made him his own so he could, and it went too far and even then his own safer mechanism was his undoing. It’s really sad. He couldn’t cope
You should play The Unfinished Swan. It's another game by the same maker and it tells you what happened to Milton and about where he went.

@@jayfireanimationshe actually went into a magical painting dimension and became a king. Its a very loose connection as unfinished swan came first and devs decided to connect a character in both games while making edith finch, like an easter egg.
@@vendy8207 It's actually not a loose connection at all if you compare his fate to his brother Lewis'.
@@VlogCandyMinus loose connection in the sense that unfinished swan isnt really deeply connected to edith finch.
Since it came first, it is very likely that connecting milton to older unfinished swan character was probably a newly formed idea and not planned when unfinished swan was being developed.

I watched part 1 and so I came straight to part 2,this is crazy!!! I have AUDHD(Autism and ADHD) so I can Maladaptive daydream sometimes when it comes to My hyperfixations but never to the content Lewis did! That’s crazy! Great videos both part 1&2💜

47 male here who got the game 6 months ago. Fascinated by the whole story (after the first 5 minutes) .... I cried during and after birth. And again when I saw the comment video by Counselor Plays. So thanks, third time. Ready for my second play--through. :_)

I WAS LIKE “dude wait she’s talking about dying but she wants us to remember our family history?” I thought MAYBBEEE she was talking about the possibility there was one person left but then I was like “yo it would be such a good story if she dies at the end and then were born or something and were reading the book” I haven’t watched the rest yet so this is just a guess but I WILL CONTINUE WATCHING!! I stumbled upon ur video and it captured my attention. When i play a game i do tent to wonder a lot instead of where i need to go especially if its a house lol but i liked the story even though its extremely sad. Now im so curious about the end of her son, whats his story and is the father around. And the remaining story of Edie's and the old house. Im so curious ❤️
Also I think there should be a part 2 or something with the boy looking for answers finishing what the mom Edith was trying to figure out what Eden wrote her on the notebook. Looking for the book that was ripped. Cuss I need to know 😭 And goin to the old house 🤷🏾♀️

There are a ton of deer where I live. I live on an island with squirrels and tons of birds. I’m sad there are no chipmunks here though.
I love how you ended the video. No silly "hey guys, I hope you enjoyed the video, like and subscribe!" or anything like that, just pure raw emotions of shock, sadness, you crying and then the viedeo was over. I was shocked and crying too, so I had to take a moment to collect myself again. I didn't comment in part 1, I'm commenting just here, I wanted to see them both in one sitting. I actually found you a couple of hours ago, while mindlessly scrolling on shorts, and there was a short of you playing the part in which the boy (I don't remember the name, sorry) was on the swing and then he fell into the sea. I was intrigued by the game and I liked your reactions on that short, so I clicked on your profile and found the longer version of the gameplay, part 1 and 2 . I usually don't watch playthroughs (unless it's a game I'm playing and I have to see how to surpass some part I can't do) , but yours was really pleasant to watch. Not too much chatting, just focusing on the story and on the game, but enough interactions to keep me entertained by you too. In these two videos of this playthrough I have seen only a little of what kind of person you are, but my first impressions are thar you're a kind, emotional and altruistic soul.
