The boards idea of being treated unprofessionally versus mine are like night and day. I made a complaint because my therapist said in her own exact words that my dad fucked my sisters and he had fucked me too. That was her response because I had told her I was upset because she said she had compassion for my sister who treated me bad my whole life. My therapist also knew I didn't get to say goodbye to my dad when he died and missed his funeral because no one told me. My therapist suggested to me I was suffering from amnesia and that my sisters texted me to let me know and according to my therapist I told them in her own exact words to "fuck off" After my therapist said my dad fucked me she then proceeded to ask me how much longer I was keeping it a secret. Imagine, really imagine the damage that causes to miss your dad's funeral and being told by a therapist that your dad fucked you just because you pissed her off?
THEN you guys let her get away with it and after 6 months of waiting you say "no violation found." I agree with Tracey with her advice to therapists that receive complaints to not worry because the majority of them get dismissed. And you don't explain why and I'm suppose to trust that you actually investigated the complaint. In reality I don't think you guys do anything. I think what happens is you receive the complaint and wait for the therapist to respond and then close the case without doing much of anything. You have to do this to justify your job. The confidentiality part isn't to protect anyone but to cover up the fact that you protect therapists and not the public.
