Thanks a lot, that was exactly the video I was searching for! To me, the SCT 2000 is the best one here... but also the most expensive. I like the RB 500 but a little too "bass" driven to me. And I'm very surprised how the SC 1100 and the SC 140 sounds alike IMO, especially with that price difference.
I got the SC 1100 for vocals and it hasn´t done me wrong one bit... the SCT 2000 seems to be a good option as well with a bit warmer sound but still a lot of clarity..
Hi! First of all, great video, thanks! I have a question: I've just bought a T Bone RB500 but I can't really get a nice sound because of the noise! I use an apollo twin mk II and a uad pre. So, I think the forniture is quite good. How did you get that "clean" and lovely sound? Thank you very much 🤗
Hi! What kind of noise are you refering to? The ribbon mics are quieter that the dynamic or condenser ones, so we need to raise the gain with them. I didn't have any excessive noise with mine. Also you may try the TBone FetAmp device to get more gain. Thanks for watching!
@@CSantosMusic Hi! I have the fet amp as well. I mean exactly the noise when I raise the gain... I'll try again because I love how this mic sounds! Thanks 😎
One of my hobbies is collecting used (but as good as new) T-Bone microphones. I own all of the microphones tested here except for the SC-140, some of them multiple times, and I'm happy to hear how good they sound.
which one did you like the most? Leave your opinion

Ive been using sct 2000 for years. Its so clear and wide. Alot of room to make adjustments in post.
