Can't believe how samsung have come a long way in optimising their phones. After one ui, it just flies (even the old phones that run one ui feels a lot faster than a few years ago). But both are great phones though. I also loved oneplus much better than I used to back then, maybe because the camera and other features are finally on par with the competition. Pretty sure the OnePlus makes better photos than the Exynos S20. I’ve even seen a test on a popular UA-cam Channel here wich the Oneplus has beaten the S20 Ultra in terms of the camera.

The app closing animation on OnePlus looks annoying and bad. It doesn't go to where it opened, but instead it goes down. I don't know what people find and always say "it's smoother" "their animations are so good" dude just shut up. Most of the animations are pop-up. If you want to have similar basic animations to make animations shorter you can make animations 0.5x or 0x in the developer settings. I see One UI's animations are much better. I don't hate Oxygen OS tho. I know it's also good and clean Android. But Samsung has better animations for sure.
I would pick the oneplus 8 pro because of the 3 year update support , and also because it has a snapdragon 865 and not the shitty exynos (which in my country there’s only the exynos option)
@@697sona the one tested here is the s20 plus which is around 1200 and the 8 pro is 1k. You can do the s20 but you can also just do the normal OnePlus 8 too. This is assuming you want the snapdragon version and not the euro version.
OnePlus 8 Pro for the win for me by a landslide. I don't care for Samsung's UI. This comparison would have been better if you'd used the 12 GB version on the OP but thanks anyway. 😊
Looks like the One Plus is crushing shadow detail honestly. It looks more contrasty and appealing on first glance, but crushing shadow detail ruins movie playback quality real fast. Something very important to me as I plan to use my phone to replace my TV to make moving and living minimalisticly much easier.

Samsung supports 120Hz only in 1080p while as Oneplus in 1440p. So this isn't a fair speedtest as it needs to render more pixels on Oneplus. Switch both phones to the 1080p with same 120Hz refresh rate, only then it would be fair speed test.
When samsung is brand new it is faster, but after a 1 or 2 years of using and installed the system uodate. It will going to be slow and laggy. Unlike oneplus. Even after how many years of ussage and system update, it will not going to be slow. So for me its oneplus.
It is because Samsung has this feature built in one ui that partially catches the app in ram it will one hold those app partially in ram which u use more often so that it opens faster rather completely opening the app. Tbh i love this feature of one ui because smartphone these days have insane amount of ram like 8gb 12 gb and 16gbs of rams so yeah y not use the ram in this way because nobody is going to completely use the entire 8gb or 12 gb ram
i dont give a damn this kind of test..its depend of a lot of things..even you use the same wifi but the deviation of the strenghtness also might effect the speed..
It is actually the opposite, I have the Oneplus 7 pro and when I got Android 10 10 updates it has a lot of bugs and lags, and most of Oneplus users have this problem

I got 10plus pretty good already. No need to upgrade s20 plus. Save couple hundred. I don't see the difference 60z or 90z. Look the same to me.
