I was such a geek back then -- I wanted to send off for the magnets, but never did.
They sounded like value for money, but you never know with these ads, I know they were misleading a lot of the time, though I fail to see how they could have messed these up
I wonder how much money the Cash for Coins mob made and if anyone actually happened to find any valuable coins in their piggy banks, heck some people probably sent their valuable coins off to pay for the catalogue! I might get myself a 100 magnets and see if I can build that dog as well.
yeah I bet a lot of kids with $$ signs in their eyes sent their 50c off with dreams of riches lol I dare say there are a couple of success stories among the millions of failures. Those magnets might have been fun to play with as a kid though!
