You know Johan people should listen to the simplicity of your playing which is beautiful with your natural groove that is in your heart...I've been playing for 4 decades..and my heart is the key..and the tone of your fingers..cheers
Me too! Both one of the most under rated overrated guitarists ever. That's why he is till one of my favorites of all time. Technically not that great but so much fun to watch and listen to. Isn't that what it's all about?
Thanks Mitchell, the Super Distortion measures 13.88 and the BB 8.2, so the difference should be bigger. But the high end of the BB makes it sound gainier than it is. The sustain of the SD is way better. Cheers
Johan Segeborn Hello Johan! I have a pair of 80's SD's and they are 4 conductor. Green/White = 7K and Red/Black= 7K. Equaling 14K. I expected the SD's to be way hotter in this video? Nonetheless, your SD's sound especially good. Enjoying the latest round of videos immensely! Waiting for that Laney KLIPP video to surface!
I've haven't played with a super distortion, I always thought they would sound muddy with the amount of wire and ceramic pickups. I was hearing some mid/late 70's Pete Townsend tone there. I think I really need to go and check them out.
Love the tone of both, those amps sure sound great. Also, it's amazing what a bit of room reverb does for a guitar recording. Thanks for putting this together. I have some Super Distortions in my '78 Les Paul Pro and I'm looking for something a little more vintage sounding. If my father hadn't opened up the pickup cavities in the 80s, I would have put the original soap bars back in it.
I have a ton of aftermarket pups, but the Gibson 57 Classic & Plus & Dimarzio DP100 Super Distortion are my all time fav pups! If I could only own one pup it would be the DP100 Super Distortion in a Les Paul style axe!
The melody at minute 2:28-2:50 vaguely reminds me of "Cristálida (Aguas claras de olimpo)". A song composed in 1973 by Luis Alberto Spinetta, a well-known musician in Argentina. It was performed by his band called "Pescado Rabioso" on his second album. Perhaps it is an irrelevant piece of information, but I wanted to share it, so that someone might be curious enough to discover "new" songs. Cheers!
There was this cat named Randall William Rhoads who had a custom made polka-dot V that had a Super Distortion in the bridge position. I seem to recall it sounded pretty darn good. I put one in the bridge position of a Squier Contemporary Tele, and through my DSL it freakin' screams.
I saw another video of the Super Distortion and thought "i wonder if Johan has a video" and sure enough when i went back to the home channel there was your video!
I have both and the bb2 is potted. I'm keen to get one off the shelf that's not waxed through. The dimarzio works wonderfully and should be prescribed with every guitar ...hey, jazz would be great with snot in it! The bb win out because I'm hearing a slightly more bell like chime and old paf bark, of course. Great vid.
Nice test Johan. Your pickup tests always seem to be my favorite. Have you ever thought about doing a test of late 70s early 80s maxon pickups like the U1000, U2000, or PU-2? I just bought some 1978 U2000 maxon pickups that came out of an ace frehley greco and they sound fantastic.
The Super Distortion rules! I'm in the process of installing a Super Distortion and two Dimarzio PAF pickups in my three humbucker Black Les Paul Custom. It'll look just like Ace Frehley's black LP when I'm done.
The Super Distortion is "only" 13.5k output... compared to over 16k in a Seymour Duncan JB or Duncan Distortion. Although 13.5k was twice the output of the typical 7.5k Gibson style humbucker of the day.
You wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest pick- up the in the world. Super Distortion! For me I prefer the Ace side of things. Great work, Cheers
:-) I automatically hear Detroit Rock City in my head, after those lines, and Deuce had you said land instead of world. Kiss has the greatest Marshall tone ever. Which kiss song do you think has the greatest guitar tone? Cheers
Johan Segeborn I can see Detroit loud just across the river from where i am staying in Canada. Can't wait to check out those pawn shops and places like Chicago Music Exchange. I moved from N.Z because got married and N.Z is an expensive and limited place for music gear. Been watching all your vids but forgetting to like sorry. Rest assured i do like em. I think some of them will become important references, because there are very few videos made that offer systematic comparison of vintage Marshalls etc. They should be paying you lolz
Greetings Johan from Helsinki Finland!this was just the video i was looking for :) i was looking for a new bridge pickup for my gibson sg ,dsd it is! what a great sounding pickup :)
I picked up a vintage Super Distortion a while ago. They do sound a bit different to the modern ones I think. In some situations I'm not sure the vintage SD is a good thing, I think can sound quite nasally like early Iron Maiden - love that music but not the tone. How you present it here though makes the pickup shine. Maybe the big Les Paul gives extra weight to the tone. The tone you get around 1.51 is an example of the best you can get out of the pickup. At 0.56 you can hear some nasaliness. The clean isn't the best on the SD, but your lovely old Marshalls cover up for a lot of that! Thanks for all these great clips, my regards.
Thanks for the comparison. I'm thinking about changing my dirty fingers out for something else. I like the Dimarzio super distortion best but was thinking about some bb' s your demo helped me decide. I think I'll go with Dimarzio. I hope the new one's sound the same as the old ones.
I've used super d,s for years old seventies 2 wire and 90's 4wire couldn't really pick the difference people say they can hear between the old and new, but,I'm going to confess. I swapped the super d for a wait for it (gulp) burstbucker pro,god that feels better.i just dig the toppy kerraangg it has, still got the dimarzio's in the drawer just in case.
I really like the texture of the super distortion and the clarity of the burstbucker. Could you compare the Burstbucker with the Screambuckers? This last videos are just awesome, very informative. Keep on rockin!
You have such great tones. I was wondering maybe you could put together a video about your recording process and what you use to capture your tones. Me personally am learning on a tascam 4 track
+Zaid Ali Thanks Zaid! Absolutely! In short I'm usually using 2 Beyer dynamic M160 ribbon mics. One up close at the grill basically deadcenterwith some off axis angle and one 6-9 feet out, poiting up and slightly away from the speaker. I pan the close mic about 50% left and the room mic about 98% right. I'll do a more thorough one soon though. Cheers
They both sound good for dirt but I like the bb for the clarity and the way it handles clean. I've had both of them in my guitars. Great playing and cool demo. Loving KISS Firehouse.
I have a 70s SD that i pulled out of a 78 les paul years ago, I never tried it, think i might have to reinstall it. I have t-tops at the moment, there a bit weak i think.
Something really important about this demo is that Di Marzios and other pups from the 70s obviously builded with low gain standards compared to modern humbuckers. The burstbucker is a modern mic with modern gain, and thats the main reason the output on the custom with the di marzio is thick and with the burstbucker is fat.
Very cool comparison. To be honest, I expected to hear more of a difference, but both sound very nice. Would you say there's more difference in feel than what we can hear in the audio?
Man that Burstbucker makes me shaking with thrills... wonder if you used 500k pots and memphis tone 223 nF capacitor.. i hate myself for having sold a vos goldtop.
As I expected, the Dimarzio Super-distortion is a bit more brittle than the Paf. I like the Dimarzio for leads it for cleans and general playing it gets muddy and brittle...
What's the sustain of these pickups like compared to other humbuckers? I initially became interested in them after it was speculated Gary Moore had them in his infamous Charvel!
the super distortion kinda dull on clean but mighty on dirty channel (^^) ... if i choose between one of them, I'll be picking burstbucker 2, since it's really good on clean and dirty
I bought a 77 gibson rd on ebay and it came with a vintage super distortion pickup in the bridge, and the original pickup in the case. would someone please buy the dimarzio so I can restore it to its original glory.
Wow, not really knowing what the sound of super distortions really were - I always assumed they were really some overwound pickups for metal sounding music - but I thought these sounded really good
I have a 1970 Super Bass that doesn't have that much low end. Very bright in fact... Even by bridging the 2 channels it has no comparison with your video. What are your crunch settings on the amp?
Hi Johan. Burstbucker all the way here ! But i have some doubt regading the output level : i think the burstbuster is louder than the Di Marzio, and you didn't compensate it with gain control, so the Di Marzio sound less agressiv. Correct ?
Johan Segeborn So if the measures are not the same, you compensate the gain for each pickup ?For the level variation, it's easy to get it at 1:30, the sound goes slightly in crunch with the bb and later at 1:40 with the SD the sound stay clean (focus on the high strings part of the riff).
I just switched the pickup from BB to SD. I have tried a multitude of test setups. This one is what most wanna see. Simple intuitive setups. There is no single test that tells the whole story.
Johan Segeborn Matching the gain is the only way to get the same amount of harmonics for both mics for having a fair comparison. but i agree, it's not easy. What i do : First i set my gain at the begining of crunch as the scale is very sensitiv (a very slight variation will be seen quickly as more crunch). After that i do all the demos, change what i have to change, and setup the gain again, in order to get the same amount of crunch. It's works very well. Cheers man, keep up the good work !
One you can buy super cheap used the other cost upwards $200 each that's the way I look at it tho I'd prefer the chrome cover pickups on my les paul guitar those are awesome amps btw.
Wesley ACDCRythms Hi, no I dont have any 57 classic currently. Since they have an equal number of windings on both coils they sound bigger than most burstbuckers, but also a bit muddier and darker.
The burstbuckers in my classic werent balanced the bridge was way to bitey so I put in as set of dimarzio 36 aniversary pars much more balance and compression if used the super distortion in my 72 custom for 20 years loved em but I really like the pafs now
+Johan Segeborn Thanks a lot for your answer. :) And thanks a lot for asking me which I would prefer. :) but I am not very experienced, so for the everything is fine. Would be great to hear (similar to your new video with pickup height) some low output vs. high output pickups...
The Burstbucker II or the Distortion compared to a Dimarzio X2N would be interesting. I´ve heard that´s what Fast Eddie Clarke used on the early Motorhead records =)
The Super Distortion is too thick for about half the stuff, but just right for the other half. I'd stick with the BB on a Les Paul probably, but go for the SD on certain other guitars.
It's weird, because listening to the clips, I think the Burstbucker sounds better. But, I bet if I was playing two guitars back-to-back, I'd probably choose the SuperDistortion, because of the extended highs.
i cant helo but think u were vibing and zoning out more with the burstbuckers man. like u were forcing the feel a little with the dimarzios. i prefer the BB
I pref the burstbucker. Better grind but you have to be careful with the burstbucker when stacking tracks as it can get too scratchy. So the SD blended with the BB would be great. Here is an example of my burstbucker which sounds good but if I had to listen to a whole album of that, it would get too grating. haha. Esp with the super punchy higher mids of the Splawn. There are some pops and clicks too thanks to Sonar X3 being the devil. ua-cam.com/video/_dnrhZuQ87E/v-deo.html
The Super Distortion sounds a little bit less tight - not as bright, a little bassier than the Burstbucker, at least with distortion. I like it a lot though, I bet in a brighter sounding Les Paul or SG it would be awesome
+BT Hellam The BB is from 2010 I think and the Super D from the late 1970s. The Super D measures 13-14 kOhm and the BB2 about 8 kOhm, I don't know what the ratio in output is though.
You know Johan people should listen to the simplicity of your playing which is beautiful with your natural groove that is in your heart...I've been playing for 4 decades..and my heart is the key..and the tone of your fingers..cheers
At 1:51, classic Ace Frehley ALIVE tone. Both great pickups, Burstbucker seems to handle cleans more elegantly. THANKS!
Thanks Nick, very glad to hear that I'n a huge Ace fan!
I am too!!
Me too! Both one of the most under rated overrated guitarists ever. That's why he is till one of my favorites of all time. Technically not that great but so much fun to watch and listen to. Isn't that what it's all about?
Both are great but the Super Distortion sounds tighter and has more bite. Also more sparkling while playing clean. Nice demo Johan, thanks!
Thanks!
Wow the super distortion pickups have a better tone by a very slim margin. I like both. Almost identical. Great comparison Johan ! Thanks ! :)
The Super D can get down to the roar and power like no other pickup I've ever owned. Love mine!
You sat on the floor for one of the burstbucker tests, you do realise that some here will think that affected the tone!!!
+Mr Muck Hahahaha, I'm counting on it ;-)
More sustain sitting on floor. Now if it’s teac hardwood! Haha
Yes because the floor is solid birch versus the bed is cotton and polyester which absorbs guitar vibration from his skeletal bones to his shoes.
migh have affected the room mic
Love the Super Distortions, but I'm biased. I have a 70's SD in the bridge of my '73 SG Custom.
+TimB4305 Cool guitar!
I've haven't played with a super distortion, I always thought they would sound muddy with the amount of wire and ceramic pickups. I was hearing some mid/late 70's Pete Townsend tone there. I think I really need to go and check them out.
Thanks Peter! I'm glad to hear that.
I wouldn't trade my Super Distortion bridge pickup for anything else. It turned my Frankenstrat into a tone monster!
@@stringdoc what single coils do you use with the super distortion bridge? And how is the volume jump switching between them?
Great playing on this one too. The Superdistortion was the best in my book. It felt more rounded and full of depth with overdrive...spot on Bub!
Amazing demo. Not many guitarists seem to grasp the concept of applying "the scientific method" to a/b demos haha
Certainly a good comparison.
+Greg Jones Thanks Greg! Glad you liked it. Cheers Johan
+Agtronic Thanks! Yeah we all went nuts during the 1980s I'm afraid ;-)
How about a comparison between 70s super distortion and a modern one?
I have a ton of aftermarket pups, but the Gibson 57 Classic & Plus & Dimarzio DP100 Super Distortion are my all time fav pups! If I could only own one pup it would be the DP100 Super Distortion in a Les Paul style axe!
Try the 498t. It's really good
Damn dude! That’s whole lot of pure TONE going on there! Great stuff. I love that gear, especially that black LP Custom & that old Super Distortion!
The melody at minute 2:28-2:50 vaguely reminds me of "Cristálida (Aguas claras de olimpo)". A song composed in 1973 by Luis Alberto Spinetta, a well-known musician in Argentina. wow I think you got the feel of 70-80's...
nice work sir I wanted to hear a comparison like this video.
Thanks!! Glad to hear that. Cheers Johan
I saw another video of the Super Distortion and thought "i wonder if Johan has a video" and sure enough when i went back to the home channel there was your video!
+1thess523 :-) Glad you thought of me!
The best way to compare pickup tone is, in my opinion, playing an open G D A chords. Especially the shift from G to D says a lot about the tone.
exactly the kind of comparison I was looking for! Thanks, Johan!
Thanks Drew :-)
I have both and the bb2 is potted.
I'm keen to get one off the shelf that's not waxed through. The dimarzio works wonderfully and should be prescribed with every guitar ...hey, jazz would be great with snot in it!
The bb win out because I'm hearing a slightly more bell like chime and old paf bark, of course.
Great vid.
+SHEMAMAN Thanks! :-)
Al Di Meola played jazz with Les Pauls, Super Distortions and Marshall Super Leads back in the 70s!
I would go for The Burstbucker. Although I swapped those out in my guitar for Bare Knuckles Stormy Mondays
Thanks, Bare Knuckles are great, Love the Black dog
these pickups both sound great, the awesome amp is a key factor. also nice playing.
Nice test Johan. Your pickup tests always seem to be my favorite. Have you ever thought about doing a test of late 70s early 80s maxon pickups like the U1000, U2000, or PU-2?

+Moshe Alvarez Cool, I'm a huge Ace Frehley fan! :-)
Johan Segeborn I'm a huge Ace fan as well. My biggest guitar hero! You're a great player too!
Johan, do you like The Elder?
Great socks!!
+Jordan May hahaha :-)
I love that sound of the SD, man that's some vintage Thin Lizzy tone there lol.
Thanks! Love Lizzy!! Cheers
Great subjects on most of your videos like this one. You have great taste in gear and guitars.
+Layne Franklin Thanks, I'm glad to hear that!
The Super Distortion is "only" 13.5k output... compared to over 16k in a Seymour Duncan JB or Duncan Distortion. Although 13.5k was twice the output of the typical 7.5k Gibson style humbucker of the day.
Johan you are number one. One every planet. Period.
You wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest pick- up the in the world. Super Distortion! For me I prefer the Ace side of things. Great work, Cheers

Aquila Rossa Thanks Aquila, glad to hear that :-) Cheers
I have a couple of those vintage super distortion pickups in a heavily modified Gibson SG200, they sound fantastic!
Cool, they make a big difference if one's going for 70s hardrock sound
Greetings Johan from Helsinki Finland!this was just the video i was looking for :) i was looking for a new bridge pickup for my gibson sg ,dsd it is! what a great sounding pickup :)
As always!! Great video.
I picked up a vintage Super Distortion a while ago. They do sound a bit different to the modern ones I think.
In some situations I'm not sure the vintage SD is a good thing, I think can sound quite nasally like early Iron Maiden - love that music but not the tone.

The tone you get around 1.51 is an example of the best you can get out of the pickup. At 0.56 you can hear some nasaliness.
The clean isn't the best on the SD, but your lovely old Marshalls cover up for a lot of that!
Thanks for all these great clips, my regards.
Can you add what you think since you are in the room and playing them?
Hi Johan really think you should try or demo the newish dimarzio paf 59 its "bang for the buck " as you say . it's amazing. And Iv been through a lot.
Haha, whatever works, all combinations of guitar, amp, cab, speakers etc likes different pickups, there are no universal formulas. Cheers
Is there a difference between 70s and modern superdistortions? I just put a new one in a fat strat and it has that "alive" tone...
i think the older ones had a spacer between the magnet and one side of screw poles, and the modern ones dont
I really like the texture of the super distortion and the clarity of the burstbucker.
Could you compare the Burstbucker with the Screambuckers?
This last videos are just awesome, very informative.
Keep on rockin!
Thanks Diego, great to hear. I will compare them shortly. The Screambucker is my favourite :-) Cheers
I have both, to my mind burstbucker better for chrunch and bouncy clean, superD for high gain and kinda deep clean. Great playing/vid!
Thanks Glenn!
I have a 70s SD that i pulled out of a 78 les paul years ago, I never tried it, think i might have to reinstall it. I have t-tops at the moment, there a bit weak i think.
The SD is great for gain and crunch, but is a bit cold for cleans
Great comparisons . Great video . thanks
Thanks! Glad to hear it! Cheers
P.S.: The white pickup ring on a Black Beauty is a pretty cool look.
Absolutely, the super distortion was a joy to play, it really made everyrhing stick together so nicely
Like Ace Frehley and Peter Frampton :-)
Johan should I put a sd in my Gibson melody make, a la Gary Moore 1978?
+Christopher Alchin Definitely! Really cool!
Christopher Alchin Antiquitys(sd)
I love this guy.. so cool
Man that Burstbucker makes me shaking with thrills... wonder if you used 500k pots and memphis tone 223 nF capacitor.. i hate myself for having sold a vos goldtop.
Love them both. What is that tune at 2.29?
Thanks man, that's a song of mine :-)
As I expected, the Dimarzio Super-distortion is a bit more brittle than the Paf. I like the Dimarzio for leads it for cleans and general playing it gets muddy and brittle...
What's the sustain of these pickups like compared to other humbuckers? I initially became interested in them after it was speculated Gary Moore had them in his infamous Charvel!
+Richard Bartlett They have great sustain, they are hotter bassier and middier than PAF style Humbuckers. Cheers
Thanks for the reply! I often run my bridge with the tone rolled back a bit. Does SD smoothen up well when doing that?
The Bill Lawrence gibson pickups are great too....
Yeah I love the Ripper pickups
the super distortion kinda dull on clean but mighty on dirty channel (^^) ... if i choose between one of them, I'll be picking burstbucker 2, since it's really good on clean and dirty
+Boy Aditya yeah the Super Distortion is a much darker pickup
Super distortion is a little more clear and with more harmonics. Burstbucker is slightly darker. Both great, each one has his own flavor.
this video made my mind up, SD will be the one to use on my new project Les Paul :)
Thx
+PW6805 Glad to hear it!
I bought a 77 gibson rd on ebay and it came with a vintage super distortion pickup in the bridge, and the original pickup in the case. would someone please buy the dimarzio so I can restore it to its original glory.
Ironically, I preferred the SD clean, but the BB for all the rest.
Hi. Johan please make comparison vintage dp100 and new. Will be cool )
What is your opinion of the Burstbucker2, Johan, and where would you place it on your list of favorite pickups?
Wow, not really knowing what the sound of super distortions really were - I always assumed they were really some overwound pickups for metal sounding music - but I thought these sounded really good
+VoxPathfinder15R Glad to hear that because I actually put 70s Super distortions and DiMarzio PAFs in all my guitars today!! :-) I love those pickups
I just learned that the DiMarzio Super distortion is what Randy Rhoads used in the bridge of his flying V guitar.
Great comparison love the dimarzio
That 70s SD... so awesome
Can i write a song with your first riff? Sounds killer
I have a 1970 Super Bass that doesn't have that much low end. Very bright in fact...
Even by bridging the 2 channels it has no comparison with your video.
What are your crunch settings on the amp?
In this video: bass 4, treble 6 pres 8 mid 10 vol1 8, high input
Another nice vid Johan!
If I buy you a strap, would you use it?
Haha, with all those wires and cords to keep track of I usually end up on the floor ;-)
no sarcasm! I really like your socks.
+Ronvaa Sikez Then thanks! :-) ...... ;-)........:-)
Hi Johan. Burstbucker all the way here ! But i have some doubt regading the output level : i think the burstbuster is louder than the Di Marzio, and you didn't compensate it with gain control, so the Di Marzio sound less agressiv. Correct ?
Hi, no it's the otherway around actually, the SD measures 13.88 and the BB 8.3. Everyrhing was kept constant.
I did however expect to have to turn the volume down a bit for the SD, but it was only slightly louder.
Johan Segeborn Matching the gain is the only way to get the same amount of harmonics for both mics for having a fair comparison. but i agree, it's not easy.
What i do :

Cheers man, keep up the good work !
Surprisingly, I dig the SD more than the Burstbucker. Both sound great though. Oh, and the socks, those are killer, I want a pair!
Haha, there is nothing like a pair of good Swedish socks
Super D !!! win
My bf watched this and mentioned your socks, and I couldn’t find them on Amazon…?
One you can buy super cheap used the other cost upwards $200 each that's the way I look at it tho I'd prefer the chrome cover pickups on my les paul guitar those are awesome amps btw.
Do you use 57' classics on your guitar. If not make a video with those.
Wesley ACDCRythms Hi, no I dont have any 57 classic currently. Since they have an equal number of windings on both coils they sound bigger than most burstbuckers, but also a bit muddier and darker.
The burstbuckers in my classic werent balanced the bridge was way to bitey so I put in as set of dimarzio 36 aniversary pars much more balance and compression if used the super distortion in my 72 custom for 20 years loved em but I really like the pafs now
From the KISS album ,made me want to learn to play
Cool, I have been a Kiss fan since 1981
do you have more pickup comparisons?
+MrKnisterable This is actually the only one so far, but more is coming up. Any special pups you wanna hear?
+Johan Segeborn Thanks a lot for your answer. :) And thanks a lot for asking me which I would prefer. :) but I am not very experienced, so for the everything is fine. Would be great to hear (similar to your new video with pickup height) some low output vs. high output pickups...

those dimarzio super distortion buckers were hugely popular in the 70's.
+Jeremiah Wilson yeah many classic hard rock albums cut with those
D Bo not necessarily. Not if what is above wishes to remain "hidden".
Love the creaminess of the super d.
Thanks
The Super Distortion is too thick for about half the stuff, but just right for the other half. I'd stick with the BB on a Les Paul probably, but go for the SD on certain other guitars.
I agree, it's not an allrounder
any difference between a 70s SD and one made today ?
+Luke Porter I have never A/B tested them but the UA-cam clips I've seen have indicated that there is a difference
Спасибо за видео. Gibson мне нравится больше. Более мягкий звук vintage.
Super D by far. The other one sounds like it has a blanket over it And no top end for me
Are you using 250k or 500k pots? Thanks
I put a super Distortion in my Epiphone SG and 👌, it's an older one but not vintage
the SD had more pop, very articulate and full...the BB had a more pointy "hard" quality.....surprisingly I like the SD very nice
Contrary to the popular opinion on here, I like the Burstbucker better because of the slightly more midscope!
There are some pops and clicks too thanks to Sonar X3 being the devil. ua-cam.com/video/_dnrhZuQ87E/v-deo.html
tockusa That clip sounded great man, Cheers
The Super Distortion sounds a little bit less tight - not as bright, a little bassier than the Burstbucker, at least with distortion. I like it a lot though, I bet in a brighter sounding Les Paul or SG it would be awesome
Liked (mostly for the socks)
Because one plexi half stack is not enough right Mr Segeborn? hahaha
+Glenn Jimenez Yeah more is always more ;-)
I'm having a hard time believing the Burstbucker is louder than the Super D. Are the Burstbuckers new or as old as the Super D you have?
+BT Hellam The BB is from 2010 I think and the Super D from the late 1970s. The Super D measures 13-14 kOhm and the BB2 about 8 kOhm, I don't know what the ratio in output is though.
the socks win!
Hahaha, I admit I had that coming ;-)
lol
....I’d go with the burst bucker
I prefer the Gibson Bursbucker :)
It's à great pickup too
Burstbucker makes guitar sound like a Les Paul should
great sound nice socks
🤣🤣🤣
Sound similar
SD sounds tighter though
