The part that hurt me the most is seeing Bishop Charles Ellis and Spencer Ellis crying towards the end.
Yea they were a close family ...I was gonna cut that part out but decided at the last minute to keep everything so y'all wouldn't miss anything

Wow. I almost didn't make it through the last 5 minutes of this video. My grandfather, who was also a Bishop, passed away in January of 2015. I couldn't help but relive that moment watching his grandson have a pure breakdown at the end. It's at that last moment that realize that, "I'll never [physically] see, touch, smell, nor hear him again." ...such a heartwrenching feeling. Ugh. 😭😭😭😭

Bishop David L Ellis was Bishop over the state of Georgia at his death. We loved Bishop Ellis, we enjoyed and absorbed his teaching and preaching like sponge in water. The Word had sustain it would stay with us. I'm glad that I was under such a great man of God. I send love and blessings from the state of Georgia.

mrtheoneandonly 83 yes I got them mixed up with the names😂but I was a member of the church their father founded Indiana Ave Pentecostal Church of God of the Apostolic Faith in Chicago and I found old pictures when the Church first started at a storefront. Thanks for your input.

When Pastor Spencer Ellis passed placed Bishop David Ellis's Pectoral Cross around Bishop Charles Ellis's neck the torch was passed to him at that very moment.

they had services for tributes Saturday and Sunday Monday was the official day for his funeral i still have his obituary

Yup Ellis funeral which is owned by his middle son David Ellis Jr did his body of his own father ...the Swanson s are like family to them
Spencer Leak of Chicago who was present at the casket I hear is where Pastor Spencer Ellis got his name from. They sure laid Bishop to rest beautifully..I can't imagine what task it was to prepare your own parent's body for his funeral service.
As I can recall.. Bishop David Ellis was entombed at Grand Lawn for 6 years before he was relocated to the new Greater Grace Temple on Seven Mile
