he sings in Darija, the most common moroccan dialect and he is coming from Hay Hassani in Casablanca. I don't think he is linked to Rif somehow, despite the fact that Rif people are also moroccan and we love and respect them. There are no clans in Morocco, we are just a mix of Amazigh, Arabs and Sahraoui people. You can't call em clans because we love each other, and we consider that every Moroccan should have the same rights and should live his best life regardless the fact that he comes from South, North, East or West of Morocco. We are one.
@@mayybemao I see.. but I don't mean 'clan' in a negative sense. Clans are extended families in my idea, a tribal structure. First time I hear of the Sahraoui people.. are they related to the Touaregs?
