Looks like it was not the first car they stole they went through it .clearly not just joy riders. Years ago when I was on holidays and car was parked on streets i would always remove lead from dizzy cap and put a piece of polythene under it just in case. 👍👍
Nice easy one to make back on the road. As a tip. Buy a lishie key to pick the lock on fuel cap. As it becomes more less expensive to now to buy a complete lock set for the car. As if u buy a lock set with one key it keeps the cost down to get a 2nd key cut.
Hi Paul, "Love is in the air" :) Nice and cheap car. Didn't you think hot glue dent repair would work on the back? I'm waiting for the work. All the best.
Paul did u know at that time u had black dust on ur nose of ur fingers something I have done lots of time and I think u have a easy repair a bargain with lots of profit u are very charmed guy 😊😊😊 Phil in stoke
No I didn't. On day 1 when I clean the wheels, luckily not on camera, but I had been speaking to the postman a neighbour and then when I came indoors it looked like I had been down a coal mine. Nobody said a thing.
Hi Paul love your channel I’ve got a 2009 lounge it wouldent start had rac out had to get a new key. He came and made one charged 220quid still won’t start any ideas thanks rob

Hey man. Just bought a 500l and the lcd screen seems to have died after fitting a new battery and clearing any codes that the car had. Was definitely working before. Have you ever had to replace one?
@@Nodtune 500L as in the large one? I’ve only ever had one of those so no never. If you mean a normal 500 then dozens of times. There’s a video in my how to series how to do it.
@Love500 yea the large one. Has lay up a while and it was working briefly but the info disappeared after a while with the car running with a new battery.
Looks like it will be a really smart car once fixed Paul, Have copart increased their fees on the purchase price commission? I have not bought anything since March .
Nothing, why would they? I don't fill the street up. There's usually just one, very occasionally two and they are insured, MoT'd and Taxed so are legally parked on a public road. I don't leave cars parked for weeks with for sale signs, then someone might do.
I think once you worked your magic this car will be loved again. It just needs some tlc😊
Ciao un altro bel progetto buon lavoro paul 👍

Destined for you with that registration Paul! Will be a lovely car once it’s spruced up 🙂

@@zb1534 I might give it a try but I doubt it.
thats why you cut wire to air tag speaker so they cant make it play sound to find it
@@thehutx yeah I haven’t done that. Can someone else make it play a sound?
It is a “scissor” or ”specs” lift as they resemble a pair of scissors or glasses.

@@robdilley5976 sounds like you got done with the key. Very over priced. What made them think it was the key? Does it turn over, any lights up?
Yes turd over alllights on
Turns over all lights on dash bord

@@Nodtune could be a coincidence. Not sure if they suffer the same as the normal 500 ones.

Will be a nice car when done, seems a bit excessive to write it off for a couple of debts an a few dash pieces, owner would still have the keys.
Hi Paul, have you ever had a viewer say hey that was my car before I crashed it or something similar.
No, not so far.
Did you buy a lock set without a key or do you just need locksmith to pick the fuel cap?! Bet can find suitable private plate for yourself.
They don't tend to come without keys when you buy a lock set. Locksmith forces it off. This one came off in seconds, the last one took him 5 minutes.
What do your neighbours say to all the 500s in the street etc?
