- After finally getting all the parts in from shipping I've decided to make a video of all the basic tune-up procedures like oil change and carburetor tuning along with starting the beast that now lives. It's really an interesting item. I recommend watching it all. If you're new to the channel feel free to like subscribe and give some feedback I welcome it.

If you want you’re engine to turn on fast you have to close a little bit the air valve on the piston
Hi Jordan, thanks for your video. I inherited a non starting buggy (just like this one) and it won't start. I've checked off a shopping list of stuff (basics) and no luck....Any tips or are these buggies known for a particular defect that makes them not start ? appreciate your help..thanks
First I would check every basic function, like spark, fuel, and compression , check the coil by holding it and turning the engine over, caution it will shock you if it is working, check the compression of the cylinder and also check the carburetor is running the correct air fuel mixture to start the buggy, starting fluid helps too
I have one that everything seems good on, it was running then slowed and stopped. I've tried everything I can think of but it wont start. It will crank and has fuel and spark but nothing happens. Any ideas?
Good video buddy keep up the good work! Do you know how many ohms the pick up coil should be putting out I can’t get fire to mine I’m going to do a DC CDI box 4 pin and make a wiring harness from scratch.
You reckon there is any way to by pass ignition coil if it's.stuffef I just blew my money on a proper buggy but second hand got home turns out it's got power lights and all but doesn't want to start just clicks when I turn the motor over
I got the 4 pin d/c ignition working! The hammerhead is running strong!
@@jamesthebond0072 Yo, try the starter solenoid. I just redid all the electrics in my Joyner with the same motor, and that solenoid is a must if you're cranking from the key.

New carb and all electrical
I have strong spark on top dead
I have fuel and compression.
I can’t get it to even pop or anything with starting fluid or anything. Has never popped once
But it has compression, fuel, timed spark...? Any ideas??

Hey hopefully you still have this or can remember where the tube from the carb to the radiator goes and its approx length. I am missing the 2 ports on the carb and have coolant shooting out the port on the thermostat housing. I'll have to get new carb but just wondering where the tube from carb to radiator goes on the radiator?
Did you ever find where it goes on the rad? Just got one and mine has 6” of hose clamped off, can’t see where it went originally

The carburetor could not be adjusted correctly for your altitude, typically I would try and change the jet for your carb just basic try and tune the carb

Good video, can you elaborate where the coolant line that exits the carb goes to?
Eugene Yakushev sure I'll about to do a coolant video as I've been working on the system and I've got a thermostat and new housing in the mail today
great can't wait to see it, but can you tell me until the video comes out after the coolant line enter the carb from the thermostat, where should the one exiting the carb go to?
